Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
In Kyiv, additional sensors were installed to measure the level of radiation. In Kyiv, there are seven sensors that transmit information about the radiation level to the Kyiv digital application in real time.
Kyiv Oblasts
Explosive works took place today in the Vyshgorod raion.
Former Vice President of the United States Mike Pence paid a visit to Kyiv Oblast. As part of the visit, the American delegation visited the village of Moschun, where fierce battles were fought during the defense of Kyiv Oblast. The former vice president also visited Bucha and Irpin, cities where the russian occupying forces committed terrible crimes against the civilian population.
The American organization GEM will replace damaged windows throughout the Irpin community. This was agreed upon by KOMA head Ruslan Kravchenko and Irpin mayor Oleksandr Markushyn with representatives of GEM. The total estimate of the works is 85 million hryvnias. They plan to replace the damaged windows and install new ones in the community in 2-3 months.
In Irpin, a large-scale project was started to replace windows in damaged houses. Thanks to the support of the non-profit organization Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with the Howard H. Buffett Foundation (HGBF), windows will be replaced at virtually all Irpen properties where there is a need.
Chernihiv Oblast
On June 29, russian troops shelled four communities in Chernihiv Oblast: Novgorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnyanka, and Snovske communities.
Sumy Oblast
In Sumy Oblast, there are no russian army strike groups along the border. No offensive actions were recorded, there is no threat of invasion of the territory of the region. However, the intensity of russian shelling is increasing, which is dangerous for people’s lives.
During the day of June 29, the Sumy Oblast was shelled 10 times from the territory of russia. The communities of Krasnopillya,Myropillya and Bilopillya were under fire.
Private houses and a car were damaged in the Krasnopillya community.
At night and in the morning, the russians shelled the border of Sumy Oblast three times. 4 explosions were recorded in Seredyna-Buda and Shalygine communities. There were no injuries or fatalities.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
During the past day, the russian occupiers conducted artillery and mortar shelling of the border and front-line territories of the Kupyansk and Chuguyiv raions of the region.
In particular, Vovchansk of Chuguyiv raion, Kislivka and Berestiv of Kupyansk raion and others were under enemy fire.
That night, a 13-year-old boy found an explosive device in his yard in the town of Panyutine, Lozivka community, took it into his hands, after which the explosion occurred. Hospitalized with injuries.
In the village of Cherneshchyna, Izyum raion, on the territory of the agricultural enterprise “Noviy Shlyach”, an MTZ-80 tractor was blown up by an unidentified explosive device. The tractor driver received minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
Demining works are ongoing. During the day, 162 explosive objects were neutralized by the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service.
Donetsk Oblast
On June 29, the russian military shelled eight settlements in Donetsk Oblast.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
21 mobile protective shelters will be installed in Kramatorsk. A large mobile shelter is being installed on the territory of the Kramatorsk urban territorial community. It will be located very close to the Kramatorsk railway station. In total, there will be two such shelters at this location. Each will have 65 seats. The total capacity of one, together with those who will stand in the aisles, is roughly up to 100 seats. Another large shelter will be erected next to the bus station on the Boulevard of Machine Builders, and 18 smaller ones with an approximate capacity of 15-20 people (10 seats) will be located in different locations of the city, mainly near public transport stops.
Today, 2 twin sisters who died during the shelling on 06/27/2023 were buried. Concerned residents created a makeshift memorial at the scene of the tragedy. All day people carry flowers and candles.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
On June 30, the russian military shelled the territory of the school in Sergiyivka, Pokrovsk raion, Donetsk Oblast. At the time of the shelling, there were 12 civilians in the facility – representatives of the administration, teachers and technical staff. A 56-year-old primary school teacher and chief accountant died as a result of the shelling. Six employees were taken to the hospital with mine-explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Bakhmut area. He carried out airstrikes in the area of Bila Gora and Dyliyivka. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske of the Donetsk Oblast, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
The spokesman of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andriy Kovalev, said that in the direction of Privillya-Zaliznianske, which is not far from Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military has had partial success. On the flanks of the city of Bakhmut, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are knocking out the russian military from the previously captured territories and entrenching themselves at the borders.
In the Avdiyivka direction, with the support of aviation, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Avdiyivka area. He carried out artillery shelling of more than 5 settlements, including Stepove, Avdiyivka and Vodyane of the Donetsk Oblast.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion
On June 29, the russians dropped three FAB-250 guided aerial bombs on Neskuchne.
Mariupol
In the temporarily occupied city, there are still dozens of playgrounds destroyed or damaged by the russians. Despite loud statements of the invaders about their restoration, almost nothing has been done. Residents write messages to the pseudo-mayor of the city, Oleg Morgunov, with a request to repair the playgrounds, but such messages are immediately blocked.
In occupied Mariupol, residents’ apartments are flooded with water. Residents of Mariupol note that this is the situation in all districts of the city. Only in the city center something is done for visibility.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolayiv Oblast
On the night of June 30, the anti-aircraft defense forces destroyed the «Shahed-136» UAV over Mykolayiv. As a result of the fall of the debris, an ignition occurred in an open area with an area of up to 20 square meters and the roof of a residential building. The fire was promptly extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service Department in the Mykolayiv Oblast. There are no casualties.
Yesterday, June 29, the enemy made mortar attacks on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no injuries or damage.
In the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, russian troops concentrated their main efforts in the Kherson direction to prevent the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They hit Molodizhne, Ingulets and Antonivka from aviation. Dniprovske, Veletenske, Kizomys, Antonivka, and Kherson were shelled from artillery.
During June 29, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 72 times. It fired eight projectiles in Kherson, which hit the point of delivery of humanitarian aid, educational and medical institutions. Three people died, four were injured.
On the morning of June 30, the russian army shelled a residential quarter of Kherson. A humanitarian aid delivery point, a medical facility and houses were damaged.
In the Korabel microdistrict, gas supply was restored in 37 high-rise buildings. Gas was turned off in the houses due to flooding. Despite constant russian shelling, the commission continues to inspect apartment buildings to restore communications in them.
In Henichesk and Skadovsk, members of the civil resistance movement hung yellow ribbons and posters, painted new patriotic graffiti. Residents resist the occupying forces and provide the Defense Forces with information about their locations and movements.
On the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson Oblast, there is a threat of worsening of the epidemiological situation. The occupying authorities do not carry out sanitary treatment of areas affected by flooding and do not provide medical services to locals without a russian passport.
Environmental damage from the russian army’s detonation of the Kakhovska HPP is about 146 billion hryvnias. The figure is approximate, because due to the occupation of the left bank, it is impossible to physically survey the territory.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Over the past day, on June 29, russian troops shelled 16 localities in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A 66-year-old woman was killed in Novodanylivka and a 66-year-old man in Malaa Tokmachka. A 52-year-old woman was injured in Orikhiv.
On the night of June 30, the russian military launched a missile attack on military and infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The occupiers are gradually leaving the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The personnel remaining at the plant have been instructed to blame Ukraine in the event of an accident, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported.
As of 9 a.m. on June 30, a slight decrease in the water level was recorded in the cooling pond of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. It is currently 16.57 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.
Odesa Oblast
Mayor of Odesa Gennadiy Trukhanov met with a delegation from the Republic of Austria headed by Helmut Brandstetter, Member of the National Council of the Republic of Austria, Chairman of the Austria-Ukraine Bilateral Parliamentary Group, and Arad Benkö, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Ukraine. The Mayor of Odesa spoke about the current situation in the city and said that the citizens of Odesa greatly appreciate the assistance provided by Austria to Odesa.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the night of June 30, russian troops attacked Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with heavy artillery. No one was killed or injured. The consequences of the attack are currently being clarified. No attacks were recorded in other areas of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a drill was held on how to act in the event of an accident at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The settlements of Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts are in the 50-kilometer zone of the accident.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Today, blasting operations were carried out at the Vlasivske field in Oleksandria Raion.
The curfew in Kirovohrad Oblast has been changed since July 1. It will be in effect from midnight to four in the morning. The work of catering establishments and public events has been extended until 23:00.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
Pyrotechnics from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast are helping to demine the de-occupied territories in Kherson and Donetsk oblasts. Between May and June 2023, they defused 103 explosive devices.
Chernivtsi Oblast
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi presented awards to the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile artillery division of the 10th Edelweiss Brigade, in which many Bukovynians serve.
Andriy Meronik’s war diary 24.02 raised 774744 hryvnias. The project team donated the proceeds to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Chernivtsi publishing house 21 has already sold three copies of the collection. The book tells a nonfictional story about a group of young people who found themselves in the middle of a war and learned to adapt to new realities in order to be useful to their country.
The head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Natalia Husak, is on a working visit to Bukovyna. The official visited a number of medical institutions in the region and talked to staff and patients. Natalia Husak also held a meeting with community leaders in the Chernivtsi Oblast.
In the Chernivtsi Oblast, 124 land plots are to be confiscated from russian citizens. Since the beginning of the year, it was discovered that russians own more than 60 hectares of agricultural land in the region.
