Northern oblasts
Chernihiv Oblast
The russian army shelled 10 border villages in the Chernihiv Oblast. No casualties have been reported.
Diana Nasibova, a 12-year-old resident of Nizhyn, has raised more than two million hryvnias for the needs of Ukrainian defenders over the past two years. She studies in the daytime and weaves patriotic bracelets and key chains from beads in the evening to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The girl sells her handiworks at the local market.
Sumy Oblast
112 explosions occurred during the day in Sumy region. 13 communities were targeted by russian attacks.
Yesterday afternoon, the russian military conducted an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Sumy. Three people have been reported injured. Windows in two non-residential administrative buildings and 73 windows in three residential buildings were smashed.
At night, the russian army shelled the Krasnopillia community in the Sumy Oblast with mortars. Eight explosions were recorded.
In Bilopillia, the elimination of the consequences of the russian attack on April 8 was completed. Also, due to the russian strikes, some entrepreneurs have stopped their activities, however, the city council is working as usual. Also, in the morning of April 13, the community was targeted by russian attacks.
Eastern regions
Kharkiv Oblast
One civilian was killed and 11 were wounded in the Kharkiv Oblast as a result of russian attacks on April 12. In total, about 20 settlements came under hostile fire over the past day.
On April 12, russians shelled the center of Kupiansk, setting a residential building on fire. A 62-year-old man was rescued from the rubble in the neighboring building. A 73-year-old wounded man was found at another address and taken to a hospital.
Four civilian men in Shestakove, Chuhuiv Raion, sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and mine-blast injuries as a result of a russian attack. Some agricultural machinery was also damaged.
This afternoon, Russians dropped a munition from an FPV drone in Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk Raion, wounding an ambulance driver. The village of Zahryzove in the Izyum Raion also came under russian shelling, which resulted in the destruction of private households.
Donetsk Oblast
During the past day, the russian army shelled the Donetsk Oblast 2,226 times.
In the Oblast on April 12, two people were killed by shelling of the russian army in New York and Krasnohorivka. Eight more residents of the Oblast were injured.
The enemy is attacking Ukrainian positions in the Lyman, Bakhmut directions with assault groups with the support of armored vehicles. In the Pokrovsk direction, it is trying to break through our defenses, using dozens of tanks and BMPs.
The Oblast allocated 1.6 billion hryvnias from the regional and local budgets for the construction of protective structures in the Donetsk Oblast. More than half a thousand strongholds have already been built, and anti-explosive barriers and anti-tank ditches are being built.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Oblast
Yesterday afternoon, the russian military shelled Kostiantynivka with the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system. Six people were injured, one person is in serious condition. Nine facades of private houses, six cars, two company cars, six gas pipelines, a power line and one high-rise building were damaged.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On April 13, the russian military shelled Novoselydivka of the Donetsk Oblast. A woman was injured, she was hospitalized in a moderate condition.
In the Avdiivka direction, 18 attacks were repelled in the areas of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Pervomaiske and Netailove settlements of the Donetsk Oblast.
Bakhmut Oblast
Yesterday, the russian military fired “Hurricanes” on New York, and “KAB-250” were dropped on Bagatyr. Two houses, a store, a post office, and an administrative building were damaged.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 33 attacks.
Russian troops did not enter the outskirts of Chasiv Yar or the city itself. At the same time, they managed to capture more than half of the settlement of Bohdanivka and the village of Ivanivske in the Bakhmut direction.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On April 13, in the Mykolaiv Oblast, the russian army launched artillery fire on the water area, and at night, russian fire was recorded in the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community. People were not injured.
April 13 was declared the Day of Mourning for those who died as a result of the russian missile attack on Mykolaiv. As a result of the russian attack on April 11, five civilians were killed and six more people were injured.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Throughout the day of April 12, russian military was attacking eight villages and cities.
Armed Forces of Ukraine repulced seven russian attacks in the Orikhiv direction near Robotyne.
Kherson Oblast
In past 24 hours russian missiles hit 19 settlements. They damaged one apartment building, three houses, a cell tower, port infrastructure, gas pipeline and few cars. Seven people were injured.
This morning a man was hurt while working in a field on his tractor. His vehicle drove on a russian mine and he had lots of fragmental injuries. This happened in the Novoraisk community.
Since the start of deoccupation of the Kherson Oblast near 45 thousand of people were evacuated, more than six thousand of them were children and five hundred of them were disabled citizens.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On 13th of April russians bombarded the Nikopol Raion at night. The Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities were attacked with 15 missiles. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Western Oblasts
Chernivtsi Oblast
On April 12th a Congress meeting was held in Chernivtsi in presence of the President of Ukraine. It’s the sixth Congress. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal took part in Congress, as well as representatives of the government and local authorities. There were 1,8 thousand participants in total. The main topics were life of the regions in times of war, principles of the economic program and stimuli that the government creates to increase growth of business.
