Northern oblasts

Kyiv

A bipartisan delegation of the US Congress arrived in Kyiv. The delegation includes members of the House of Representatives Thomas Kane, Bill Keating, Madeleine Dean, and Nathaniel Moran. The US Embassy said that the visit of the members of Congress was a reminder of the unwavering US support for Ukraine.

The mayor of Hamburg, Peter Cencher, also came to Kyiv and brought a new supply of aid. This includes 3 Mercedes urban passenger buses with low floor, modern passenger compartment and air conditioning system. They will soon be running on the capital’s public transportation lines. The city also received 3 modern Mercedes ambulances.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, russians fired mortars at the village of Hremiach in the border area of the Chernihiv Oblast.

The number of casualties as a result of the missile attack on Chernihiv on April 17 increased to 89 wounded people, and 18 killed. This is due to the fact that people did not immediately seek help in hospitals.

More than UAH 800 million has been allocated for the construction of fortifications in the Chernihiv Oblast. This is 50% of the total required amount. In total, more than UAH 1.5 billion is required for this construction.

Sumy Oblast

36 explosions were recorded in the Sumy Oblast during the day. The russian army shelled 4 communities in the Sumy Oblast 7 times.

One person was wounded in Bilopillia as a result of russian strikes on April 21. The town’s buildings were also damaged.

At night, the russian army shelled the Seredyna-Buda community in the Sumy Oblast.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

About 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast came under hostile artillery and mortar fire over the past day. Yesterday afternoon, the russian army shelled Vovchansk with MLRS, damaging a house.

On April 21, sappers in the Kharkiv Oblast cleared 12 hectares of mines and destroyed 127 explosive devices.

This afternoon, explosions were heard in Kharkiv during an air raid alert. The consequences are being identified.

Donetsk Oblast

Four settlements in the Oblast were under shelling yesterday, three more this night and in the morning.

One person died, six were injured in the Donetsk Oblast from shelling by the russian federation on April 21.

In total, since the beginning of the invasion, not counting the victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha, the russian army killed 1,931 people, and injured another 4,823.

The Ukrainian military repelled up to 70 attacks by the russian occupying forces on the fronts of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

On April 21, the russian army directed a KAB-500 aerial bomb with cluster munitions at the village of Progres. A local resident was wounded.

At night, the russian army fired twice at Ukrainsk, hitting with a S-300 missile. The buildings of the critical infrastructure enterprise were destroyed and damaged, and a local resident was injured. The russians also targeted a critical infrastructure enterprise.

At night, the russian military attacked Selydove with S-300 missiles; four five-story buildings were damaged there.

Last night the Air Forces of Ukraine destroyed five drones. Later that morning, reconnaissance drone “Orlan 10” was destroyed in the Odesa Oblast.

Kherson Oblast

Russian military forces bombarded a bus stop at the Dnipro district of Kherson. Three people were injured.

Ukranian side retrieved another family from Hola Prystan. Family has two children of twelve and five years old.

Enemy is preparing to flee from Nova Zbruyivka, territory that they occupied. Local market and some stores are closing because of it.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night before 22 of April, the russian military bombarded Nikopol using heavy artillerу. The attack on Marhanets community caused damage to the farm, and some damage was done to the electricity system. But there were no people who were harmed by the attack.

Reconnaissance drone, that most likely was “Orlan 10”, was destroyed in the sky over the Dnipro Raion.
