Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The President of Ukraine met with Jeremy Hunt, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the largest package of defense assistance from the UK worth half a billion pounds. Particular attention was given to the sanctions policy.
The Mental Guard project is being launched in Kyiv’s educational institutions to provide psychological support to students, parents, and educators. It involves the formation of emergency psychological assistance teams that will arrive promptly at schools in the event of conflicts or emergencies.
Kyiv Oblast
A delegation from Kenya visited the Bucha community. The delegation visited the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and honored the memory of the killed civilians near the installation dedicated to the 501st killed Bucha resident. The guests were told the details of war crimes committed by russians during the occupation.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, russians shelled two border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast. No casualties have been reported.
Sumy Oblast
On April 24, the russian military conducted 23 attacks in the Sumy Oblast. Four communities came under fire.
At night and in the morning of April 25, the russian military shelled the oblast three times. A total of 14 explosions were recorded. Two communities came under shelling.
In the Sumy Oblast, border guards confronted a russian subversive and reconnaissance group consisting of more than ten people. Following the clash, the saboteurs retreated.
This afternoon, the russian army targeted the infrastructure of Sumy. The consequences are being identified.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Almost 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were subjected to russian artillery and mortar attacks on April 24. Yesterday, Kyrylivka of the Staryi Saltiv community came under an air strike. The buildings of the lyceum, the village council, and six private houses were damaged.
Last night, russians attacked Hlushkivka and Kruhlyakivka in the Kupiansk Raion with guided aerial bombs. The enemy also shelled these villages during the day.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled one russian attack near Berestove.
This afternoon, russians shelled Novoosynove of the Kurylivka community. As a result of the shelling, 70- and 73-year-old women were wounded.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk Oblast, two people were wounded in Dobropillia and two more in Krasnohorivka and Soloviove as a result of shelling by russian troops on April 24.
Ukrainian military repelled 93 attacks by the russian occupation forces on the frontlines of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts on April 24.
The russian army attacked hardest at the Bakhmut and Avdiivka sectors.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko visited the guardsmen in the Lyman area and awarded 92 soldiers.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
Yesterday, the russian military hit Halytsynivka with a drone, dropping an RPG-7 warhead, and Lysivka was attacked by Uragan MRLS.
At least one person died in Ocheretyne and another five were injured in Krasnohorivka and Hirnyk as a result of shelling by the russian army in the Donetsk Oblast on April 25.
Also, today the russian military shelled Novooleksandrivka and Vozdvyzhenka of the Hrodivka community. The consequences of these shellings are being established.
Enemies shelled Udachne in the Donetsk Oblast. As a result, two people died, another person was injured. Previously, the village was hit with a missile. Also, one person died in Kurakhivka. It was fired upon by the russian army with barrel artillery.
Russian troops attacked the village of Udachne this afternoon. As a result, three people died and two more were injured. They are not local residents. The injured were taken to the hospital. Several administrative buildings were damaged. Windows and doors were broken in about 20 houses.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
Russian troops cannot capture Chasiv Yar from the flanks. They use machinery and guided aerial bombs.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On the night of April 25, russian troops shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. Private houses and a power line support were damaged. There are no casualties.
Yesterday, there were explosions in Mykolaiv due to careless overloading of ammunition by military personnel. Law enforcement officers are investigating a criminal case. As a result of the explosion, two soldiers were killed and two more were injured. Cars that were near the epicenter of the explosion were also involved. Another five rescuers were injured while fighting the fire.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
256 strikes on eight cities and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast were carried out by the russian army yesterday, April 24.
Odesa Oblast
In Odesa, the demolition of rubble after the attack of the russian federation on April 23 was completed.
A dog named Hector, who was injured during a missile attack on Odesa on April 21, was operated on. Three fragments were taken from it. Now the dog is looking for a new family.
In the morning, air defense forces destroyed the “ZALA” reconnaissance drone in the Oblast.
Kherson Oblast
Russian army bombarded nine communities and Kherson throughout last 24 hours. They damaged critical infrastructure, cars and gas pipeline. One apartment complex and private houses suffered as well. Three people are injured.
Last night in the Kherson Oblast and the Beryslav community firefighters stopped two fires, that happened because of russia’s bombarding. Because of these attacks houses were on fire. A woman was evacuated from one of them.
Enemy dropped a bomb near Osokorivka. It fell on a car and the driver was hurt badly. He was hospitalized with explosive trauma, facial and arm injuries.
Russian military attacked Antonivka near Kherson. 71 year old woman is badly injured, she was outside during the attack. She was hospitalized with contusion, explosive and brain trauma.
Central Oblasts
Dnipro Oblast
In bombarding of the Nikopol Raion during the night of April 25 the gas pipeline burned. Also there’s damage to two private houses, greenhouse, memorial and power lines. Missile fragments damaged private house in the Synelnykove community.Photo
74 years old woman and 46 years old man are injured from Nicopol bombarding that happened on April 25. A woman is in a hard condition. She is hospitalized with fragmental injuries and trauma shock. A man is moderately wounded. Today near Kryvyi Rih Ukrainian air forces destroyed incoming russian missile.
Cherkasy Oblast
Cruise missile iskander-k was launched at the city of Smila in the morning of April 25. Logistic and railway communication are damaged. Also there is damage to administration buildings, 74 private houses and cars. Six people are wounded.
Poltava Oblast
Poltava volunteers started to collect books in Ukrainian for hospitalized soldiers to read. Anyone from Poltava can donate their books.
Vinnytsia Oblast
Volunteers and entrepreneurs are making trench REEs “Burevii” to help Ukrainian army fight against enemy’s drones. These devices block drones’ systems.
Western Oblasts
Rivne Oblast
One of the passengers on an evacuating train named Krystyna started giving birth during her evacuation from Pokrovsk on 16 of April. She entered the Rivne Ob together with her newborn son. Mother and her child were placed in Zdolbuniv.
