Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

Kyiv is actively preparing for the heating season. This year, more than 1 billion hryvnias were allocated from the city budget to repair the equipment of heat sources that were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. And also – for the purchase of mobile boiler rooms, which, if necessary, will provide heat to social institutions, including hospitals.

In Kyiv, the grave of pilot Andriy Pilschikov, who died in a plane crash in Zhytomyr Oblast, was exhumed. After the funeral of the Ukrainian pilot, his relatives left a lot of chevrons on the grave as a sign of memory, now they have disappeared, his girlfriend reported and is asking to return the stolen things.

Kyiv Oblast

During the occupation of Kyiv Oblast, a total of 86 preschool education institutions were damaged. So far, 67 kindergartens have been restored.

The demining service of the Municipal Guard of Irpin during five days examined 1,800 m2 of the territory of the village of Zabuchcha of the Irpin community. Nothing explosive was found. After demining, this area can be used safely.

The head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, presented the first deputy mayor of Irpin, Andriy Kravchuk, with the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree in compliance with the relevant Decree of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Zhytomyr Oblast

14 displaced people, including two children aged 5 years and 8 months and three people with disabilities, arrived in Zhytomyr Oblast by the Pokrovsk-Berdychiv evacuation train.

Volunteers of the humanitarian hub “Zhytomyr” handed over 35 MAVIC 2 drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras to the soldiers of the airborne assault troops.

Chernihiv Oblast

On September 4, the russian army shelled three border communities of Chernihiv Oblast: Novgorod-Siverske, Semenivka, and Snovske. In total, border guards recorded 57 explosions.

Sumy Oblast

During September 4, the russian military shelled 9 communities of Sumy Oblast, 119 explosions were recorded. A person was injured in the Seredyno-Buda community, and one civilian was also injured in the Druzhbivka community.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday evening, the enemy struck the village of Cherneshchyna, Izyum raion, with 2 guided aerial bombs. The kindergarten building next to the school was destroyed. A hit near a private house was also recorded. There are no casualties.

Last day, settlements in Bogodukhiv, Chuguiv, Kupyansk and Izyum raion were under enemy fire.

In the village of Shyykivka, Izyum raion, a canteen building was damaged by enemy shelling, and a fire broke out.

Due to shelling in the areas of the villages of Glushkivka and Senkivka of the Kupyansk raion, a forest fire occurred in the Senkiv Forestry.

An MTZ-82 tractor exploded near the village of Odnorobivka, Bogodukhiv raion, during field work on an explosive device. The tractor driver was not injured.

Demining continues. Over the past day, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 6.7 hectares of territory and neutralized 49 explosive objects.

Donetsk Oblast

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,680 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,073 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Over the past 24 hours, a house in Zarichne was destroyed by shelling in the Lysychansk direction in the Lyman community, and 3 houses in Torske were damaged. 3 houses were damaged in Siversk.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

Mariupol

The number of schools and students in occupied Mariupol has decreased three times. Some children are studying in dilapidated educational institutions and remotely. There is a great shortage of teachers of history, math and English. More than 40 thousand children used to study in Ukrainian Mariupol. Now there are fewer than 15,000 children, including 3,600 students from russian migrant families. The main goal of the curriculum in the schools of occupied Mariupol is russification. In the classroom, teachers spread russian propaganda and distort history and current events. For example, in the first classes of the new school year, younger children were shown a video of putin and told about the “greatness” of russia. In addition, the occupiers plan to introduce “patriotic education” and lessons on the basics of military affairs into the curriculum. This process will be managed by militants from the “rosgvardia”, collaborators from the “Ministry of Education” and other officials of the occupation administrations.

The so-called exhibition “Mariupol. Heroes and Feats” was organized in the seaside park of the temporarily occupied Mariupol. It features photos of the city during the russian blockade. Back then, russians shelled hundreds of houses every day, killing civilians.

Luhansk Oblast

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army conducted 88 attacks on the towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, on September 4. In total, more than 20 settlements came under fire. The enemy attacked Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, and Stepnohirsk with aerial bombardment.

Yesterday, a 74-year-old woman died during the shelling of Mala Tokmachka.

Kherson Oblast

On September 4, the russian army fired 57 times at Kherson Oblast using various types of weapons. The shells damaged the warehouse of a grain reception center in Beryslav Raion and hit residential areas. A child was wounded.

Today, russian troops shelled Ivanivka in Beryslav Raion, Kherson Oblast. Two people were wounded: women aged 53 and 73 were in their yard. They were hospitalized with mine-blast injuries, and chest and limb wounds.

The prosecutor’s office suspects a resident of Skadovsk, Kherson Oblast, of treason. He collects and transmits information to the russian military about pro-Ukrainian people. On his instructions, they conduct searches in people’s homes.

In Kherson Oblast, nine communities received Mobile Administrators. The portable equipment includes a tablet, camera, and scanner. They will be used to conduct on-site receptions where there are no stationary administrative centers.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

One house was destroyed and two more damaged as a result of shelling of the Velykomykhailivka community in Sinelnykivka Raion on the evening of September 4. russian troops attacked from Uragan. Nikopol was attacked twice with heavy artillery. No one was killed or injured. 

Kirovohrad Oblast

A memorial plaque in honor of the soldiers who died in the fight against russia was unveiled in the village of Pobuzke, Holovanivka Raiom. The plaque features the portraits of 18 fallen defenders. Pobuzhsky Ferronickel Plant helped to set up the plaque, providing financial support and full support for the work.

On September 5, sappers from Kropyvnytskyi went to Donetsk Oblast to clear the de-occupied territories. First of all, the sappers are clearing power lines, gas pipelines, water supply systems and other communications. The sappers went as part of a consolidated unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and will work there for a month and a half.  

As part of the charity day “Thank you to the Armed Forces for the summer!”, Oleksandriya residents donated more than UAH 32500. These funds will be used to buy a Go-Pro camera and a Mavic 3T drone for the Omega special forces unit. Throughout the day, residents and guests of Oleksandriya took an active part in the events held in Shevchenko Park to support our military.

Poltava Oblast

In the Poltava Oblast, the SSU found a blogger who published a video of the movement of Ukrainian military equipment on social media. The video was posted by a 34-year-old woman who used to live in Kharkiv Oblast, but fled the war to Kremenchuk. SSU investigators informed the woman of suspicion. The materials have been sent to the court.

In Poltava Oblast, points of invincibility are being checked. Today, there are 417 such places in the Oblast, 278 of them have already provided uninterrupted access to the Internet during a possible blackout.

Cherkasy Oblast

Rescuers from Cherkasy Oblast left for another rotation in Kherson Oblast. There, they will continue demining the liberated territories, as well as help the population of sub-chief villages within the framework of the «Side by Side» project. In addition, they will help colleagues detect enemy ammunition with the help of underwater metal detectors.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Heat-resistant overalls, jackets, gloves and shoes are sewn for rescuers in Vinnytsia at the enterprise relocated from Severodonetsk. Overalls can withstand temperatures up to 800 degrees. They work according to their own development. Before the full-scale invasion, the goods were sold abroad. Now only in Ukraine.

Western Oblasts

Volyn Oblast

The State Environmental Inspection in the Volyn Oblast has named the amount of damage caused to the environment by the russian military’s missile strike on a private enterprise in Lutsk on August 15. Damages in the amount of 163.5 million hryvnias were caused due to the clogging of a site with an area of ​​almost 5,000 square meters. The damage caused by emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere amounted to more than 48 thousand hryvnias.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The Khmelnytskyi Oblast military administration, together with charitable organizations, handed over intelligence equipment to the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The team from Khmelnytskyi raised the flag of Ukraine over Hoverla. The area of ​​the blue-yellow flag was 453 square meters. In order for him to soar over the highest peak in Ukraine, he needed a kite.

In Khmelnytskyi, a presentation of the journalistic publication «Ukraine is we!» took place. It included 100 information blocks about child volunteers and educational institutions that joined and continue to join the volunteer movement to provide assistance to the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Memorial plaques with the names of Georgy Antokhov-Khliborob and Dmytro Glovachevsky, who died in the war, were installed on the facade of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Gymnasium No. 4.

Gadget literacy training was held as part of the implementation of the «SOS-Care 60+» project, for people of retirement age who need advice on mobile literacy. The ability to navigate the «Diya» portal, book medicine online, pay bills from home will greatly facilitate their quality of life .

As part of the Children of War project and thanks to the financial support of the donor DELL LOY HANSEN FAMILY FOUNDATION and the charitable organization «Hope for the World», 76 children evacuated from the war zone to the Mykolayiv Oblast are currently able to undergo a course of psychological rehabilitation in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

The coordinator of «Active Community» in Kamianets-Podilskyi Slavko Polyatynchuk took part in the meeting of the toponymic commission, which resumed its work after a long vacation.

Chernivtsi Oblast

The people of Bukovyna sent aid to the residents of Kherson Oblast who lost their homes due to the war. Volunteers of the Vanchykovets community distributed food, clothes and medicine to people.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast reported the suspicion to Kakhovka’s assistant gauleiter. The man actively cooperated with the russian federation and contributed to the strengthening of the occupying power in the captured part of the Kherson Oblast.

Zakarpattia Oblast 

The coordination headquarters for the support of the civilian population announced the creation of a specialized interactive map. The special portal will contain information about all institutions of Zakarpattia, which provide services for mental health and psychosocial support of citizens. The All-Ukrainian mental health support program «How are you?» provides for the mapping of such centers.

Almost 400,000 hryvnias were collected for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the schools of the Mukachevo community on September 1 during the campaign «Instead of flowers – help to the Armed Forces of Ukraine». It is planned to purchase a base for camouflage nets and organize the work of weaving them with voluntarily collected funds.
