Kyiv
Yesterday evening, people gathered near the Turkish embassy in Kyiv to honor the memory of the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria. Ukrainians brought flowers and lighted candles to the embassy.
Kyiv Oblast
In total, more than 6,400 objects damaged as a result of the war have been restored in Kyiv Oblast. Almost 3,700 more objects have been partially restored.
Czech photographer Vojtech Darvik Matz’s photo “Massacre in Bucha” won the Czech Press Photo 2022 competition. The photo shows a murdered resident of Bucha lying on the street with a dog sitting next to him.
Zhytomyr Oblast

On the night of February 7, russian troops once again shelled the Semenivka community of Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded 40 explosions, probably from a mortar.
Mine safety and first aid training have started in Chernihiv Oblast. The first mine safety training was held for children and adults in Kiyinka, the next ones will be held in the de-occupied communities of the Oblast.
Sumy Oblast
Yesterday, the russians shelled three communities of the Sumy Oblast: Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Glukhiv with various weapons. A total of 55 hits were recorded.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers continued to fire tanks, mortars and artillery at the settlements of Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Kharkiv raions bordering the contact line.
Vovchansk, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kotlyarivka, etc. were under attack.
In Vovchansk, Chuguyiv raion, an enemy projectile hit the city hospital. The roof on an area of 150 square meters was on fire. 8 people were evacuated from the bomb shelter of the hospital. In addition, as a result of shelling of the city, a civilian car was burned, a private house and a transformer pole were damaged.
In the Kupyansk raion, two 5-story residential buildings, a private house and farm buildings were damaged by shelling.
Demining of the area continues. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 13 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast
The enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled occupants’ attacks near Verkhnekamianske, Vesele, Zaliznianske, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Paraskoviivka in Donetsk oblast.
On February 6, it became known about 1 more resident of Donetsk oblast killed by russians – in Bakhmut. Another 5 people were injured in Donetsk oblast.
Since the start of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, russians have killed 1352 civilians in Donetsk oblast and wounded another 3000. It is still impossible to establish the number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In Bakhmut direction, Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Kurdiumivka, and Ozarianivka came under hostile fire.
In Horlivka direction, one person was wounded in Paraskoviivka, a house in Mykolayivka of the Kostiantynivka community and several houses in Pivnichne of the Toretsk community were damaged.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion
In Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar came under intense shelling – 5 houses were damaged, and no casualties were reported.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
In Lysychansk direction, Torske and Zarichne of the Lyman community came under fire again, fortunately, there were no casualties.
In Druzhkivka, the gas supply was fully restored on February 6. Over the past week, 1,187 customers were connected to gas in Donetsk Oblast.
In Lyman and the surrounding villages, veterinarians and volunteers are sterilizing cats and dogs and giving them vaccinations free of charge in the former veterinary clinic. They work with both pets and those abandoned by their owners.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of Pokrovsk raion, russians shelled the Kurakhivka community four times: 3 houses and an administrative building were damaged in Kurakhivka, Kurakhove, and Hirnyk were also damaged.
Russians heavily shelled Mariinka at night.
The russian army shelled Avdiivka 16 times. The damage was done to the plant’s workshops, premises, outbuildings, and a private house. One civilian was wounded.
As part of the UN humanitarian mission, the NGO Proliska delivered another humanitarian aid to the Pokrovske community, which included winter clothing and construction materials. It is intended for local residents affected by armed aggression. It includes a winter jacket, a sweater, and two T-shirts for each person.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
At night, the enemy attacked the settlement of the Ochakiv community with MLRS. As a result, there is no electricity in part of the village. Information about the damage is being clarified. There were no casualties.
Also at night, as a result of hostile shelling of the Chornomorsk community, an infrastructure facility was damaged. There were no casualties.
Odesa Oblast
SBU cyber specialists exposed two more FSB agents in the course of large-scale counter-sabotage operations in the frontline areas of southern Ukraine. They were collecting intelligence on the deployment and movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tavria direction. In addition, they passed on to the occupiers the locations of critical infrastructure in Odesa and Kherson. The offenders face up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday Kherson was shelled 10 times by russian troops. Most of the damage was done to the districts of Ostriv and Antonivka. There were no casualties.
During the day, russian troops fired at the settlements of three communities in Beryslav raion, particularly, Zmiivka, Havrylivka, Odradokamianka, and Olhivka. The premises of a court, a shop, houses, and outbuildings were damaged. One person was injured.
‘Khersongaz’ specialists have repaired more than 4,000 damaged gas mains. As of today, 13 settlements in the oblast are still without gas supply.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
The enemy hit the Myrivska community of the Nikopol district. There, 3 private houses, 3 farm buildings, a car, solar panels, a gas pipeline, and electricity grids were damaged. Heavy artillery also shelled Velikomykhailivka community in Synelniky raion.
The enemy fired heavy artillery and MLRS at the Marganets community. Power lines were damaged by shelling, as a result of which one of the pumping stations in the community was cut off. As a result, 9 settlements remained without water, that is approximately 60 thousand subscribers. In addition, the russians mutilated 4 private residential buildings, an outbuilding, electricity networks and a gas pipeline.
Almost 250,000 residents of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast may be left without water due to shelling by the russian. The Kakhovka reservoir is on the brink of ecological disaster. Due to constant shelling of the Nikopol raion, the water level has dropped by three meters and continues to fall. Kryvyi Rih, Apostolove, Zelenodolsk, Hrushiv, Vakulove and Pershotravneve communities are at risk of running out of water.
In Dnipro, an elderly woman sells supplies from her own cellar on the street in order to donate the proceeds to help the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She looks like a grandmother in her nineties. Because of the frost, there are almost no passers-by. Her product is a piece of zucchini, a beetroot, some carrots and a few apples.
Kirovohrad Oblast
During the russian-Ukrainian war, residents of three communities of Kirovohrad Oblast were killed: Anton Makarenko from the Sokolivska community, Maksym Tulaydan from Malowyskivska and Mykhailo Rovny from the Petrivska community. Eternal memory to Heroes.
In Kropyvnytskyi, free eyebrow courses were organized for resettled women. The purpose of the classes is for a woman with a minimum amount of materials, but with practical knowledge, to find a job and earn a living.
Khmelnytsk Oblast
Kamianets-Podilskyi

Rivne Oblast
Volunteers of the Spanish charitable organization Fundación Amigos De Galicia delivered about 3,000 canned fish to the Rivne Oblast as part of cooperation. More than 1.6 thousand people received them. This humanitarian aid was delivered to internally displaced persons, as well as to residential institutions in the Rivne Oblast.
Bread therapy for the children of immigrants was held in Kostopol. The purpose of the event is to integrate children who were forced to leave their homes because of the war into the community. As part of the “Sharing Bread” project, the participants of the event baked bread together and shared it with others. The master class for children was conducted by specialists of the Kostopil Inclusive Resource Center No. 2 together with the Foundation named after the benefactor princes of Ostrozki and with the support of Street Child.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Two defenders from Bukovyna were released from russian captivity – Ihor Moroz, a resident of the village of Kerstentsi, and Mykhailo Stary, a resident of the Sokyra territorial community.
Implementation of a large-scale project is underway in the Hlyboka community: the Vadul-Syretskyi grain transshipment terminal is being built here. The planned grain transshipment capacity is three million tons per year. The new terminal will help establish convenient grain logistics from Ukraine to the Romanian port of Constanta.
Employees of the Chernivtsi Oblast Hospital and students of the Bukovyna State Medical University single-handedly delivered humanitarian cargo to the front: the Kherson Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital handed over medicines, medical products, sweets for patients.
Zakarpattia Oblast

80 thousand hryvnias were collected in Khust at the “Hero’s Games” charity run. More than 300 participants covered a distance of 400 meters and 1 kilometer. With the funds raised during the event, warm clothes will be purchased for servicemen of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion.
Volunteers of the Red Cross Society helped residents of Uzhhorod to light up in the dark this weekend. The street action was organized to present passers-by with self-made reflective keychains, which will be able to protect them at dusk.
