Kyiv
Electricity consumption limits will be changed from February 8. In each Oblast, there will be no restrictions on one of the days for two weeks, and on other days there may be changes in the usual shutdown schedules. This is necessary in order to measure the actual consumption in each area.
A monument to soviet pilot Valery Chkalov was dismantled in Kyiv. The monument was not dismantled earlier, as it had the status of a monument of local importance. During the past day, February 7, the russian military shelled the communities of Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novgorodske, Shalygyne, Glukhiv. Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
Avdiivka suffered the most from shelling. The occupiers hit the city 17 times with “Hrad” and artillery.

Luhansk Oblast

Southern Oblasts
Mykolayiv Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast received a new head of the Oblast Military Administration. They appointed Brigadier General Serhiy Lysak. Prior to that, he headed the regional Security Service of Ukraine department.
The Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council Mykola Lukashuk met with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic’s support for the region was discussed. The regional authorities will formulate their proposals in the near future.
Poltava Oblast
The President’s website is collecting signatures to award the title of Hero of Ukraine to the fallen soldier Vitalii Koval from Poltava oblast. The defender was killed on January 6, 2023, during an assault on positions in Bakhmut. He died of being 21 years old.
The SBU exposed five more residents of Poltava oblast who turned out to be pro-russian agitators. These are residents of Kremenchuk, Horishni Plavni, Myrhorod, and Myrhorod raion. They posted content on a social network banned in Ukraine that denied or justified russia’s armed aggression. They face a sentence of restraint of liberty for up to 5 years.
Today, Poltava oblast received 45 Starlink satellite communication stations from Polish partners and the charity organization ‘+380’. They will be transferred to the “Points of Invincibility” to provide uninterrupted access to the Internet. So far, 403 of them have been deployed in Poltava oblast.

A modernized train will be launched in Poltava oblast, running on the Kremenchuk-Poltava-Pivdenna route. The Trypillian Sich Charitable Foundation has purchased five vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past week and a half. Over the 9 months of its existence, Trypillian Sich members have helped Ukrainian defenders with food, generators, charging stations, clothing, and other essentials.
Residents of the Novoukrainka raion of Kirovograd oblast feed the military for free at a roadside cafe. They stop the soldiers to feed them and thank them. They started helping from the second day of the full-scale russian invasion.
In the village of Dobrovelychkivka of Kirovograd oblast, an eight-apartment building for IDP doctors and military personnel will be renovated. Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Rivne Oblast

Chernivtsi Oblast

The communities of Bukovyna have 775 generators to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. 432 of them were provided by international partners, local volunteers, ministries, etc. The purchase of another 344 generators was financed from local budgets. In addition, there are 233 responsible business facilities in the region that are equipped with backup power sources, including shops, pharmacies, gas stations, post offices, and banks.
Zakarpattia
In Chop, Zakarpattia, old buildings are being restored for temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons. Currently, 2133 IDPs live in the city. Some of them have already settled in two reconstructed buildings that belonged to a hospital. A third building is currently being prepared for IDPs.
