Northern Oblasts
Zhytomyr Oblast
Another 11 residents of Donetsk Oblast arrived in Zhytomyr by evacuation train. Among the IDPs are people with disabilities and children. The people will temporarily live in one of the communities of Korosten Raion.
Chernihiv Oblast
An advisory council will be set up in Chernihiv City Council to systematize applications for military needs and identify priority areas for assistance. The council should include representatives of volunteer organizations.
Sumy Oblast
During the day, the russian army shelled Sumy Oblast 14 times. 59 explosions were recorded. Four communities were shelled.
At night and in the morning of 13 February, the russian army shelled four more communities with mortars and MLRS, 38 explosions were recorded.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
About 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire over the past day.
A shell hit the territory of a farm in Kurylivka, killing two men and injuring two others.
In Kupiansk, a private residential building was damaged by shelling; in Kozacha Lopan, a shelling hit the outskirts of the village. There were also attacks in Slobozhanske and Lypky.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two russian proxies’ attacks near Synkivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
A 61-year-old woman died as a result of artillery shelling of the centre of Vovchansk this morning. A 50-year-old woman was injured. At the time of the shelling, people were at the local market. In total, about 10 hits were recorded in Vovchansk.
About three thousand tonnes of oil products were released into the ecosystem after a russian strike on an oil depot in the Nemyshlia Raion of Kharkiv on 9 February. The oil products got into the Nemyshlia River and then into the Lopan, Kharkiv and Udy rivers. The water will be disinfected with a sorbent to prevent oil products from moving further downstream.
Donetsk Oblast
On February 12, the occupying forces fired shells at 14 settlements in the Oblast. KAB-500 aerial bombs, S-300 air defense systems, Uragan MLRS and artillery were fired.
As a result of shelling by the russian army, four residents of the Donetsk Oblast were injured: three in Selidove and one in New York.
The defense forces repelled 75 attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblast over the past day. The hottest spot remains the Avdiivka direction.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
Yesterday, russian troops from the “Hurricanes” hit Tsukuryne of the Selydove community of the Donetsk Oblast. Houses and power grids were damaged, but there were no casualties.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
The russian army continues to put pressure on the Armed Forces near Klishchiivka and Andriivka and has advanced near Bohdanivka in the direction of Bakhmut.
Over the past day, the russian military has attacked cities and villages 18 times. Two people may be under the ruins of a five-story building in New York. Kindergartens, a school, three apartment buildings and 17 private houses were destroyed.
Mariupol
In Mariupol, the occupiers plan to hold festive events until February 24, when the russian federation began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. School pupils in the captured territories will be involved to create a “big picture of support for russia”.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
During the day, the russian army struck the communities of the Mykolaiv Oblast with artillery four times. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the shelling.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
127 strikes were carried out by the russian army on 17 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast during the day, February 12. In particular, it attacked eight settlements with 31 drones, and used artillery against others.
A 67-year-old resident of Huliaipole and a 37-year-old law enforcement officer in Poltavka were injured as a result of russian shelling yesterday, February 12.
In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, air defense forces destroyed three russian unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed” type.
Odessa Oblast
Today in Odesa, a residential high-rise building was damaged as a result of an attack by the russian federation. There were no casualties.
Kherson Oblast
During the day, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 33 times with various types of weapons. The enemy fired 215 shells, including 25 at Kherson. The russian military hit the residential quarters of the settlements. Two people were injured.
At night, russian troops attacked the village of Lvove, the Kherson Oblast. A local resident died in the yard of her own home.
The russian army dropped explosives from a drone on Havrylivka, the Kherson Oblast. They hit the yard near one of the houses. Two people were wounded, they were hospitalized.
Air defense units in the Kherson Oblast shot down three “Shahed” type UAVs this night.
As a result of another russian shelling of Kherson, a trolleybus was damaged in the center of the city. There were no injured passengers or employees.
Central Oblast
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Late yesterday, russian troops attacked the civil infrastructure of Dnipro. One of the TPPs stopped producing electricity. It passed without casualties or injuries. Due to the lack of heating, students of five schools and a kindergarten were transferred to distance learning, and patients of one of the medical facilities were evacuated.
In case of power outages, more than 100 Points of Unbreakability operate in Dnipro. They are equipped with generators. There is also Internet, mobile communication, water.
Three private houses were damaged by shelling in Nikopol on the night of February 13. One farm building was destroyed and another was damaged. Fifty solar panels were broken. There were no casualties or injuries.
Air defense forces shot down 10 Shahed drones in the Dnipro Raion during a massive attack on the night of February 13.
A 64-year-old man died as a result of shelling in Nikopol in the morning of February 13. Private houses, farm buildings, an after-school educational institution, a car and power lines were damaged.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In Kropyvnytskyi, free sanitary kits are distributed to the internally displaced persons. Their cost is UAH 1,000. Also, if necessary, people can get mattresses, chairs and sleeping bags. Assistance is provided by the regional branch of the public organization “IDPs of Ukraine”.
Western Oblasts
Chernivtsi Oblast
Employees of Lyceum No. 20 in Chernivtsi collected UAH 140,000 for ten drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The drones will be handed over to fighters from the “Edelweiss” brigade, in which residents of Bykowyna also serve.
