Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The thousandth air raid alert sounded in Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Their total duration during this time was more than 48 days spent in shelters.
Kyiv Oblast
Three bridges on the Kyiv-Ivankiv-Ovruch highway, which were destroyed at the beginning of the russian invasion, are being restored in the Kyiv Oblast. These are bridges over the Irpin, Zdvyzh and Teteriv rivers. The works are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, russian troops again attacked the border of Chernihiv region, dropping incendiary mixture from a UAV and firing mortars and artillery. Information on casualties and damage is being clarified.
UNDP plans to dismantle two destroyed schools and houses in Chernihiv at its own expense.
Sumy Oblast
Over the past 24 hours, the russian military conducted 319 attacks in the Sumy Oblast. 18 private households, a club building, a cafe, a school, and a paramedic and obstetrics center were damaged. Also, the fire broke out on a farm.
An educational institution in the Okhtyrka Raion was damaged by shelling. At the time, the children were in the shelter. No one was injured.
The russian military conducted 96 shelling attacks on 6 communities in the Sumy Oblast during the night and in the morning.
In the morning of March 12, the russian military shelled the Krasnopillia community and the town of Vorozhba with artillery. Private houses, cars and power lines were damaged.
According to preliminary information, two children and an adult were wounded as a result of a russian air strike on the Velyka Pysarivka community in the Sumy Raion. Also, five private houses and a garage were damaged.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
In Kupiansk, Kharkiv Oblast, the russian army dropped a bomb on a residential high-rise building. Five apartments burned down. People were not living there at the time of the bombing. They had evacuated after the previous attack. Also, Obukhivka, Ambarne, and Petropavlivka suffered airstrikes.
One person was killed as a result of shelling in the village of Hlushkivka, Kurylivka community. Another two men were injured. In total, about 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast came under fire yesterday.
On March 11, a 54-year-old man was killed in Verbivka, Izium Raion, as a result of detonation of an explosive device.
As of March 12, 69 children and their families were evacuated from the Vilkhuvatka and Velykyi Burluk communities.
Three hits by S-300 missiles were recorded in the Kharkiv Raion. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk Oblast, two people were wounded by russian military shelling during the day.
Defense forces repelled 58 attacks by the russian army in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts on March 11. Most of the battles took place in the Novopavlivka direction.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On the night of March 12, the russian army bombarded Selydove with six S-300 missiles. Two people were injured, there were no dead. 23 private and 18 apartment buildings were damaged.
In Ptyche, as a result of russian artillery shelling, three private houses were damaged. In Gostre an apartment building and a private house were damaged.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
On March 11, the russian military dropped an aerial bomb on Toretsk, injuring a person and damaging 16 apartment buildings.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On March 11, in the Mykolaiv Oblast, the russian military twice fired mortars at the water area of the Ochakiv community. They also hit the town of Ochakiv with artillery. People were not injured.
On March 12, forces and means of air defense in the Mykolaiv Oblast destroyed four UAVs of the “Shahed 131/136” type.
The Ukrainian military destroyed the russian tanker “Mechanic Pogodin” in the area of the Kinburn spit.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
On March 11, the russian army carried out 243 strikes on 14 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. It attacked with unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, aviation, anti-aircraft missiles and artillery.
A 45-year-old man died as a result of russian shelling near the village of Novoolenivka in the Zaporizhia Oblast, another man in his 60s was injured.
An explosion rang out in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk.
An attack by twenty FVP-drones of the russian army was repulsed by border guards in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Two drones were successfully landed.
Odesa Oblast
At night, during a drone attack, the russian army fired an Kh-59 missile over Odesa. The target was destroyed by air defense units over the sea.
Kherson Oblast
As a result of russian fire at the Kherson Oblast yesterday, one person was killed and three others were injured. 13 private houses and an educational institution were damaged. The russian army shelled 17 settlements in the region.
Air defense units shot down two russian “Shahed-131/136” type drones in the sky over Kherson Oblast at night.
Today, the invaders shelled Kherson. A 42-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury.
A man was blown up by russian explosives in a field near the village of Andriivka in the Kherson Oblast. He probably stepped on a landmine, lost part of his leg and suffered a blast injury.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Three people were wounded in the evening of March 11 due to attacks in the Nikopol Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A private house was destroyed, 17 houses, 11 barns, 5 cars, a shop, gas furnaces and power lines were damaged. More than 1,700 families were left without electricity.
Vinnytsia Oblast
On March 12, parts of a downed russian drone were found in one of the districts of the Vinnytsia Oblast.
Western Oblasts
Volyn Oblast
In front of the “Dorohusk-Yagodin” and “Zosyn-Ustylug” checkpoints, approximately 700 trucks are waiting to cross the border from the Polish side. Polish protesters are not allowed to leave Ukraine by truck.
Ternopil Oblast
As a result of unmanned aerial vehicles attacks of the “Shahed” type, a fire broke out at one of the infrastructure facilities in the Kremenets Raion.
In the Ternopil Oblast, the Borsuky community launched the “Drone of Revenge” project. Volunteers make FPV drones that sign the callsigns of fallen soldiers. 15 drones have already been handed over to the soldiers.
