Northern oblasts

Kyiv

In some parts of Holosiivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi districts, power outages are taking place according to the stabilization schedules. Due to equipment damage, power facilities are unable to transmit power to all residents of these areas.

Kyiv Oblast

In some areas of the Bucha, Fastiv, and Obukhiv raions, power outages are taking place according to the stabilization schedules.

Active construction of a new bridge is underway in the Romanivka microdistrict of Irpin. At the crossing over the Irpin river, which is being built next to the destroyed bridge, the foundation for the road bed is being prepared.

Bohuslav

The Bohuslav Primary Health Care Center has recently received the “Professional Achievements for the Victory of Ukraine – 2022” award. The decision to honor the institution was made by the General Directorate of the Assembly of Business Circles and the Scientific Expert Council of the International Program “Leaders of the 21st Century”. The team received the award for their work in the conditions of the pandemic and war.

Last weekend, the religious community of the village of Rozkopantsi voted to join the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. According to Father Ihor, the rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God, the decision was made almost unanimously, in a democratic way and without conflicts.

The Active Community team in Bohuslav organized a meeting of the discussion club. Its participants learned how to start a conversation correctly, ask questions in order to get a detailed answer to them. The practical part of it was a mini-debate, during which young people consolidated their skills in communicating in groups and defending their arguments, and learned to speak in public. The discussion club operates thanks to Bohuslav Academic Lyceum No. 1 and the Smart Step educational environment.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Military pilots who daily protect our skies from russian missiles and drones were honored in the Zhytomyr Oblast. Lieutenant Colonel Pavlo Babych of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade was posthumously awarded the Order for Courage, Class 3. The award was presented to his wife and parents.

An exhibition of photographers from the Zhytomyr Oblast titled “The Pain of War. Zhytomyr Oblast 2022” opened in the Cultural Center of the Polish city of Lublin. The authors of the photos are photographers Denys Motsnyi from Berdychiv and Leonid Shevchuk from Zhytomyr.

Chernihiv Oblast

On March 13, russians shelled the village of Mykhalchyna Sloboda in the Novhorod-Siversk community in the Chernihiv Oblast. The military reported 20 hits, probably from tube artillery.

The investigators of the Security Service established that the Ukrainian soldier who was shot by the russians after saying “Glory to Ukraine!” was a sniper of the 163rd battalion of the 119th Detached Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Chernihiv Oblast, Oleksandr Matsievskyi. President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine on Oleksandr Matsievskyi.

In Nizhyn, they plan to rename one of the streets in honor of Oleksandr Matsievskyi. They also want to name the territorial defense battalion, where this Nizhyn resident served, in his honor. A memorial plaque will be installed on the house where he lived and a monument to him will be erected in the city.

Sumy Oblast

On the morning of March 13, the russian military shelled the Shalyhyne community in the Sumy Oblast. The community suffered 16 mortar attacks. According to preliminary information, there were no consequences. The russians also launched a missile attack on the village of Znob-Novhorodske in the area of the local vocational agricultural lyceum. One person was killed and four wounded.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy continued to shell the border settlements of the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv raions of the oblast.

In particular, the russian occupiers bombarded the settlements of Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Strilecha, Velykyi Burluk and other localities with artillery, tanks, and mortars.

Mine clearance works continue in the oblast. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service neutralized another 107 explosive devices. However, in the village of Snizhkivka, Izium Raion, a 40-year-old civilian man hit a “butterfly” mine near a field. As a result of the explosion, he received shrapnel wounds and a mine-blast injury. He was hospitalized in the state of moderate severity.

On March 13, street lighting was partially restored in Kharkiv.

Donetsk Oblast

The enemy continues offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka and Shakhtarsk directions.

In the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled 102 enemy attacks in the areas of Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Ivanivske settlements. In particular, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Chasovyi Yar, Predtechyne, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Druzhba, Maiorsk and New York came under enemy fire.

As a result of shelling, 31 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged in Donetsk Oblast: 21 residential buildings, the administrative building of the city council, a factory workshop, a shop, an electric transmission line, gas pipelines, a railway track, and a car.

On March 12, seven people were injured in the Donetsk Oblast – in Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut and Krasnohorivka.

Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, 1,407 people were killed in Donetsk Oblast, and 3,169 people were injured.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

On the evening of March 12, russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured. 12 private houses, a car and a gas pipeline were damaged. In another district of the city, the facades and glass decorations of four high-rise buildings were damaged. Residents of several villages do not have gas supply due to shelling by russian troops. Also, one boiler plant in the city was stopped.

In the Lysychansk direction, a house was destroyed in Zarichne (Lyman community).

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, the russians shelled the city of Kurakhove and launched air-missile strikes on Lastochkyne and Krasnohorivka (Ocheretyn community). There were no casualties.

In the morning, the russians shelled Avdiivka three times with artillery, including cluster munitions, and launched an anti-aircraft missile strike on the territory of the Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant. As a result, the school was damaged and a woman died.

The cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, the villages of Karlivka, Severne, Tonenke, Lastochkyne came under russian shelling, reports the communication department of the police of the Donetsk Oblast.

The occupiers fired from aircraft, S-300 air defense systems, multiple launch rocket systems “Grad”and “Uragan”, artillery, tanks.

Public organization “Initiative Pokrovsk” together with representatives of the Youth Council conducted a master class on making trench candles. This is the second such event organized by active youth. All caring residents of Pokrovsk gathered to help Ukrainian defenders.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka direction, 4 people were injured in Bakhmut. It is known that 3 multi-story buildings and an administrative building were damaged. In Kostiantynivka, 1 person was injured, 12 private and 4 multi-story buildings were damaged. In the morning, Nykyforivka in the Soledar community was shelled, and there were a lot of explosions on the outskirts of the Chasovyi Yar and Toretsk communities.

The occupiers damaged houses in Siversk and settlements of the Siversk community.

Mariupol

At night, according to local reports, explosions were heard in the Mariupol Raion – in the villages of Melekine, Yalta and Urzuf. Residents of the Kalmius district, the 23rd microdistrict and the Kamiansk neighborhood also reported the sounds of explosions. The Internet communities of the occupiers justify themselves and write that it is “just the sounds of the demolition of buildings.”

Luhansk Oblast

During combat duty, fighters of the Luhansk Separate Territorial Defense Brigade shot down an enemy attack unmanned aerial vehicle “Mugin-5”.

Southern Oblast

Mykolaiv Oblast

This morning, the russians shelled the settlement of the Kutsurub community in the Mykolaiv Raion. There is destruction of residential buildings, two dead are known.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, March 12, the occupiers shelled 9 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. There were 4 reports of the destruction of buildings and infrastructure. Due to the damage to the railway infrastructure as a result of enemy shelling, the timetable of some suburban trains of the Prydniprovska highway has been temporarily changed.

The russians announced the so-called “planned inspections of the housing stock” in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. According to Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov, the russians will try to confiscate property. In particular, apartments whose owners have left will be identified and russian soldiers will be housed there.

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the russians kidnapped volunteer Illia Yenin for the second time. Illia used to help the Ukrainian army, but after receiving threats, he stopped his public activism. Currently, his relatives do not know what happened to him.

Kherson Oblast

In the Kherson direction, the russian military shelled more than 30 settlements during the day. They are Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Beryslav, Zelenivka, Blahovishchenske, Kherson and Dniprovske.

During the day, pyrotechnics defused 159 explosive objects in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast. More than a thousand hectares, almost 10 kilometers of power lines and 18 households were surveyed.

In the Kherson Oblast, water supply was restored in the village of Sadove. This became possible thanks to the generator provided to the community with the assistance of the Consulate of Ukraine in Gdansk. Local residents were without water for more than half a year due to damage to power lines after shelling.

Central oblasts

Kirovohrad Oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, a 90-year-old woman weaves rugs for Ukrainian defenders. Lidia Mishchenko moved from the Kharkiv Oblast to the Kirovohrad Oblast in 2001. The woman has been doing needlework for about ten years. Now she weaves rugs for Ukrainian defenders. She has already tied seven dozen circles for dugouts and cars. She is going to make a hundred products.

Poltava Oblast

With the joint efforts of volunteers and deputies of the Poltava Regional Council, four cars, ten autonomous heaters and four Starlink stations were handed over to Ukrainian defenders.

The Poltava Sergeant Military College of the Heroiv Krut Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization trains specialists with the educational and professional degree “professional junior bachelor” for military service under a contract in the positions of sergeant and senior officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A community in the Poltava Oblast buys a mobile debris shelter. The protective structure is going to appear in the village of Zhdany of the Sencha community. The cost is UAH 2.3 million. During air alarms, the modular building is used as a shelter, and at other times, sports sections can be placed there at educational institutions.

Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Humanitarian aid was handed over to the residents of the liberated Kherson, who are going through difficult times and are in need of food support. At the final meeting of the Rivne Executive Committee, they decided to hand over a humanitarian cargo of more than 20 tons of vegetables to the Kherson community.
A volunteer from the Rivne Oblast makes dry borsch for defenders. By education, she is a children’s speech therapist, in her spare time she cuts, dries and packages ingredients. Today, her menu includes five first dry dishes: borscht, mushroom soup with buckwheat, soup with pasta, soup with spinach and couscous, soup with rice and tomatoes. Last month, more than 200 packages went to the front line. Soups are consumed by soldiers in field conditions, where it is impossible to start a fire.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi met with representatives of the Metala company, which is engaged in the reconstruction of a dormitory for housing for more than 200 displaced persons. It was about the expansion of social services at the place of residence, in particular, a medical center, transport services, etc.

The team of the dental center “Ka-dent” handed over modern tablets for the needs of the military unit located in the Kamianets-Podilskyi community, which will provide navigation, information gathering and communication between units.

More than eight thousand books will be sent to Valencia in Spain, Cologne in Germany and Warsaw in Poland to form Ukrainian libraries there. Books were collected for two months in educational institutions of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

Chernivtsi Oblast

The state flag with the signature of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, was received by the military chaplain of the UGCC from Chernivtsi, Vasyl Hasynets. A volunteer priest is always on the front line. Under fire, he delivers everything necessary to the defenders.

The communities of Bukovyna continue to support defenders on the front lines. A charging station, shoes, trench candles and goodies: another shipment was recently sent from the village of Dynivtsi to the Donetsk Oblast.
The russian-Ukrainian War Memorial Museum in Sokyriany preserves the fragments of the Caliber missile, which hit the territory of the Dniester HPP at the end of October 2022. Also here you can see weapons, shells and personal belongings of the military. In addition, all the chevrons of the Ukrainian army are collected in the museum and there is a memorial hall for soldiers from the community who died in the war.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In Zakarpattia, they are planning to create the first Ukrainian National Resistance Training Center. These will be special educational classes with the appropriate material and technical base and methodical support. Instructors will be war veterans, former military personnel with actual combat experience. Courses are available to everyone. Those who will undergo training at the Center will receive skills in weapon handling, tactical medicine, tactics, terrain orientation, and special physical training.

An exhibition-auction of the sale of military artifacts for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has started in Uzhhorod. The lots for the auction were provided by the Ukrainian military, with whom volunteer organizers of the exhibition-auction cooperate, and they were painted by students of the Zakarpattia Academy of Arts.
