Northern oblasts

Kyiv Oblast

At night, the air defense forces were active in the Kyiv Oblast. Some targets were downed in the region, yet there were no casualties. Wreckage damaged two private houses in one of the communities. In another community, a fence and an asphalt road were damaged by the debris.

Chernihiv Oblast

Over the past day, eight villages in the border area of the Chernihiv Oblast were attacked by russian drones.

Sumy Oblast

On March 28, the Russian military shelled the Sumy Oblast 28 times. A total of 167 explosions were recorded. 12 communities came under fire.

On March 29, russian troops attacked the oblast seven times. 35 explosions were recorded. There were hits in six communities.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

On March 28, at least two residents were killed and eight were wounded in russian shelling in Monachynivka, Vovchansk, Vysoke, Kurylivka, and Kupiansk. Also, a resident of Snizhkivka in the Izium Raion hit a mine in the forest.

During the day, Vovchansk was hit at least six times by the russian military, who attacked the city with artillery and FPV drones, damaging the building of the primary healthcare center, eight private houses, and several cars.

In Kozacha Lopan, two private houses and two cars were on fire as a result of russian strikes.

Donetsk Oblast

Over the course of March 28, one person was killed in Mykolaivka, Donetsk Oblast, and three other residents of the oblast were wounded in shelling by the russian army.

Ukrainian servicemen repelled 44 attacks by the russian occupation forces on the frontlines of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Most clashes took place in the Novopavlivka sector.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsky Raion

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that 25 Ukrainian soldiers were taken prisoner by the enemy during the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from Avdiivka.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

The russian army hit Toretsk with a FAB-500 high-explosive aerial bomb that did not detonate. In total, on March 28, the russian occupation forces shelled residential areas of the Donetsk Oblast 15 times. The shelling damaged 59 civilian buildings and facilities.

Luhansk Oblast

The territory around Nevske was subjected to numerous artillery fire yesterday. The russians also struck the village from aircraft. But despite this, the police managed to bring a week’s worth of bread to the residents.

In the so-called “LNR” a “law” was passed, which provides for the identification, use and deprivation of the right of ownership of residential premises in which the owners do not appear. The occupiers are going to nationalize such apartments and private houses throughout the territory captured since 2014.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

During March 28, the russian army attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities in the Mykolaiv Oblast. In addition, on the night of March 29, five attack drones of the “Shahed-131/136” type were destroyed by air defense forces.

Two years ago, on March 29, 2022, a russian missile hit the Mykolaiv Oblast Council building. The list of dead people includes 37 names.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

386 strikes were carried out by the russian army on nine cities and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast during the past day, March 28.

A 67-year-old man was injured as a result of the fall of a UAV in the Pology Raion yesterday.

In the Orikhove direction, the russian army attacked the positions of the Defense Forces eight times in the areas of Robotyne, north-west of Verbove and north of Priiutne of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

IAEA experts working at the ZNPP, due to lack of access, cannot get to all areas of the plant to verify information about the presence of russian military personnel and equipment in one of the turbine halls of the nuclear plant. Also, the agency’s team reported that during the last week, explosions continued to be heard every day at various distances from the plant.

Odessa Oblast

This afternoon, Odesa came under missile fire from the russian federation. The enemy launched two guided air missiles from the Black Sea. Both targets were shot down by air defense forces.

As a result of the attack, a 15-year-old child was injured and hospitalized.

Kherson Oblast

One person died, eight were injured. russian shells damaged 21 private houses, an administrative building, a high school, a critical infrastructure facility, a cell tower, an agricultural enterprise, a farm, a shop, garages and warehouses, cars.

During the day, the russian army shelled 13 settlements in the Kherson Oblast.

In the morning, the russian army dropped explosives from a drone in Beryslav of the Kherson Oblast. A man is wounded.

In the Kherson Oblast, near one of the settlements of the Vysokopillia community, a tractor driver was blown up by a russian mine. A man was working in the field and came across explosives, which detonated.

Three more children from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. These are children from 5 to 14 years old, whose parents turned to the “Save Ukraine” Charity Organization for help.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

That night, air defense shot down 12 drones over the region, and 12 missiles over the city of Dnipro.

In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, several energy facilities were damaged – in the Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Kamianske Raions. As a result of the attack, six people were injured, including a 5-year-old child, and private homes were destroyed and damaged.

As a result of the mass attack in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 50,000 customers were left without electricity, and 700,000 – without water.

A 39-year-old man was killed in a kamikaze drone attack in the Nikopol Raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. One more, 43 years old, was wounded. He was hospitalized in moderate condition. The drone hit the car.

Kirovohrad Oblast

This night, in the territory of the Kirovohrad Oblast, air defense forces shot down four russian “Shahed” drones.

In the Svitlovodsk community, the debris of the drone damaged an industrial enterprise and 12 private houses. There were no casualties or injuries.

In the Kirovohrad Oblast, there is damage to the equipment of the generation facility. Due to attacks on the energy system of Ukraine, schedules of emergency power outages are being introduced in the region.

Cherkasy Oblast

This night, air defense forces destroyed six enemy “Shahed” drones over the Cherkasy Oblast and shot down a cruise missile in the Uman Raion. There were no civilian casualties. Due to falling debris, a non-residential building was destroyed, and windows in a private household were also broken. There were also missile hits on the energy infrastructure facility in the region. Work on liquidation of the consequences continues.

Poltava Oblast

On the night of March 29, the Ukrainian military destroyed “Shahed-136/131” drones on the territory of the Poltava Oblast.

Vinnytsia Oblast

The consequences of the russian attack are being eliminated in Severynivka, the Vinnytsia Oblast. On the night of March 29, a russian “Shahed” drone fell in the village. The explosion caused a crater, and a private house was hit. There were no casualties. Almost 10 houses, a garage, and a gas pipe were damaged. The fire was prevented.

There is damage to the energy infrastructure in the Vinnytsia Oblast.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

The second evacuation train from the Donetsk Oblast will arrive in the Rivne Oblast. Refugees are being prepared to be accepted in communities of the Dubno Raion.

Lviv Oblast

In the Lviv Oblast, during a night attack, missile debris damaged a critical infrastructure facility. 11 drones were shot down in the region, two more “Kinzhal” missiles failed to be shot down. There were no injuries.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Air defense forces shot down three targets in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast. As a result of the shelling, six private residential buildings in the communities and the swimming pool of the children’s camp were damaged. There were no injuries.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Air defense forces previously shot down three Kh-101 missiles in the Chernivtsi Oblast.

As a result of the кussian attack, there is damage to the energy infrastructure. Emergency shutdowns are used in some regions.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

On the morning of March 29, the russians attacked one of the infrastructure facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
