Northern oblasts

Kyiv

In the capital, sappers disarmed the warhead of an X-69 missile that failed to explode after a shelling attack by russian troops and fell in a forest in the Holosiivskyi district. The remnants of the missile were spotted by a local resident. The explosive part of the newest russian weapon was taken away and detonated at a special site.

Kyiv hosted the charity race “Running for Azov” to raise funds to support this military unit. The event was dedicated to the memory of the fallen Azov fighters and the captured defenders of Mariupol.

Chernihiv Oblast

Over the past day, russians shelled eight villages in the border communities of the Chernihiv Oblast. The enemy attacked with unguided aerial missiles, mortars, and tube artillery.

Sumy Oblast

At night on May 6, russians conducted air strikes targeting the energy system of the Sumy Oblast. As a result, settlements in the Sumy, Romny, and Okhtyrka raions were left without electricity. Emergency services and power engineers partially restored power supply in the affected areas and partially in the city of Sumy overnight. The work is currently ongoing.

In the afternoon of May 6, enemy artillery shelled a border village. Three houses are known to have been damaged, with their windows smashed.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

On the night of May 6, russians dropped four aerial bombs on Zolochiv. A direct hit destroyed the boiler house of the children’s and youth sports school and two private houses, damaged the buildings of the above sports school, the village council, the police station, the children’s and youth school building, the house of culture, the social protection department and the court buildings, and, according to preliminary estimates, 10 private houses. A 59-year-old woman sustained shrapnel wounds and concussions.

A man was wounded in Kivsharivka following a Uragan MLRS shelling. The russian strikes caused fires in an apartment building.

In Bilyi Kolodiaz, 11 high-rise buildings, 15 private households, and the post office building were damaged by air strikes. In Monachynivka, a woman was killed, three men were wounded, and six houses were damaged.

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 attacks in the Kupiansk sector, including the areas near the settlements of Synkivka, Pishchane, and Berestove in the Kharkiv Oblast.

Over the course of the day in the Kharkiv Oblast, consolidated bomb squads cleared 0.61 hectares of mines and destroyed 74 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 31 attacks in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovske, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka and Netaylove settlements of the Donetsk Oblast.

In temporarily occupied Avdiivka, the russians began removing scrap metal from the remains of the destroyed Avdiivka coke plant. The metal is taken to the temporarily occupied Mariupol, where it is loaded on a ship.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

On May 6, the russian military shelled the town of Kostiantynivka. As a result, four men were injured.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 36 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka settlements of the Luhansk Oblast. Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Klishchiivka, Vyimka, Novyy, Rozdolivka, Ivanivske and Andriivka of the Donetsk Oblast.

The russian military shelled Chasiv Yar with Grad MLRS, artillery hit Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka, and aviation hit Kalznove.

Mariupol

The occupied city is preparing for May 9. In the schools of the city, children sing Soviet songs, visit veterans of the Second World War with russian flags.

Luhansk Oblast

Yesterday, near Stelmakhivka, the enemy tried to improve the tactical position by attacking with the support of aviation. The occupiers were also pressing in the sector of Nevske , and heavy fighting was taking place in Bilohorivka. Shelling from various types of weapons was carried out in the direction of Makiivka, Nevske, Stelmakhivka, and Kuzemivka. In particular, the russians targeted Makiivka with jet artillery.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy Lancet-type kamikaze drone hit the territory of the Kutsurub community. There were no victims.

Also yesterday, the enemy launched artillery fire on the water area of Ochakiv community. There were no victims.

In addition, tonight, the enemy launched artillery fire on the territory of the Kutsurub community. It passed without casualties.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

In the previous day, the russians hit 402 towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Also, 179 drones of various modifications attacked Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Piatikhatki and Stepove. There were no casualties or injuries.

Kherson Oblast

The russians shelled 16 settlements in the Kherson Oblast the other day. Five high-rise buildings and six private houses were damaged. One person was injured.

At night, the russian military hit Dniprovskyi in the Kherson Oblast. An outbuilding caught fire.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of May 6, the russians attacked the Nikopol Raion. Kamikaze drones hit the Mahanets and Chervonohryhorivska communities, a high-voltage power line was damaged. There are no casualties or injuries.
