Almost 100 residents of Kyiv Oblast successfully completed a 7-week basic course of civilian training for national resistance. The course includes 16 areas, including tactical and fire training, takmed, work with UAVs, etc. Among those who received certificates of successful completion of the basic civilian training course, 60% are women and 40% are men.
Chernihiv Oblast
On May 13, the russian army shelled three border communities of Chernihiv Oblast. The fire was conducted from mortars, MLRS, barrel artillery and an FPV drone. Near the village of Hremyach — hitting a gas distribution point from an FPV drone. People were left without gas supply. There were no casualties or injuries. The fire department in the Novgorod-Siverskyi community was also attacked.

Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
On May 13, as a result of russian shelling of Vovchansk, four men and two women were wounded. A 71-year-old woman was injured in Liptsy, four men were injured in Korotich, one man died.
Yesterday, the russians hit Veseli with aerial bombs, Borova with anti-aircraft missiles, Kozacha Lopan was also under fire, two houses were damaged there.
On May 13, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 13 russian attacks in the Kharkiv direction, and 22 in the Kupyansk direction.
During the day, 7,023 people were evacuated from border settlements, including 556 children.
This morning, the russian army bombed the Kharkiv district of Kyiv with an aerial bomb, injuring four people. Three garages were also destroyed, three more were damaged.

In Vovchansk, on the first day of the massive russian strikes, two volunteers disappeared, without coordinating their actions and movements with the police and local authorities. The whereabouts of these people are currently unknown.
In the Kupyansk direction, since the beginning of the day on May 14, six firefights took place in the areas of Synkivka, Berestove, Stelmakhivka and Myasozharivka.

Donetsk Oblast

During the day, the russian army launched a missile attack on Kherson, shelling nine settlements in Kherson Oblast. A critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, an educational institution, a multi-storey building and 16 private houses were damaged. One person was killed and two were wounded.
At night in Kherson Oblast, the Air Defense Forces destroyed two russian Shahed-131/136 attack drones.
Save Ukraine returned six children from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast to the government-controlled territory: a girl and five boys aged five to 12. The children are now safe. In total, since the beginning of 2024, 84 children have been returned from the temporarily occupied left bank.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast, the occupiers are teaching teenagers to “inform” on residents – to identify “extremists” and “terrorists” and report them to the russians. Children are also lectured about “Nazis” in Ukraine.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the night of May 14, the russian army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with long-range attack drones. Air defense destroyed four “shaheds”.
In the morning of May 14, a man of 45 years old was killed in the shelling of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Another man was wounded. Private houses, outbuildings, and power lines were damaged.
The “Lada” animal shelter, evacuated from Donetsk Oblast, has been rebuilt in one of the villages of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Currently, the shelter is home to more than two hundred dogs from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson Oblasts.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Last night, air defense forces destroyed a Shahed-131/136 attack UAV in the sky over Kirovohrad Oblast.
Cherkasy Oblast
At night on May 14, the enemy attacked Cherkasy Oblast using Shahed drones. Ukrainian defenders destroyed five drones using mobile fire teams and electronic warfare. No one was injured and the infrastructure remained intact.
Poltava Oblast
One of Poltava’s medical centers provides free lower limb prostheses. Since the fall of 2023, about 300 patients have received prosthetics and subsequent rehabilitation services.

Volyn Oblast
The second evacuation train from Donetsk Oblast was met in Volyn. There are 16 children among the passengers. A total of 48 residents of Donetsk Oblast arrived. People also took their pets with them. Some of the families were settled in temporary housing, while others were accommodated in the private sector.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
