Northern Oblasts 

Kyiv

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and the President of South Korea, Yoon Seok Yeol, met in Kyiv — this is the first-ever visit of a leader to Ukraine. Yoon Seok Yeol supported the Ukrainian “peace formula” and announced the launch of an initiative to help Ukraine in the military and humanitarian spheres and post-war reconstruction. Volodymyr Zelensky invited the Republic of Korea to join the declaration of the “Big Seven” in support of Ukraine. Yoon Seok Yeol announced at a joint press conference that Korea will allocate $150 million to Ukraine for demining and will help rebuild schools.

Stations are already being renamed in the Kyiv metro. In particular, the former station “Friendship of Peoples” is already “Zvirinetska”.

Kyiv Oblast 

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol visited Bucha. He and his wife saw the crime scenes committed by the russian military during the occupation of Bucha in March 2022.

Zhytomyr Oblast 

In Korostyshev, five volunteers of the “New life for old things” center collected more than 10 tons of clothes, shoes and household items in three months. These things are brought by city residents to help low-income families.

Chernihiv Oblast 

A russian tank was pulled out of the river Desna in the area of ​​the village of Shestovitsa in Chernihiv Oblast. As the spokesman of the administration of the State Special Service of Transport, Vitaliy Kyrylov, said, it was possible to find the location of the tank thanks to the drone that was used by the special service. According to him, the drone carries out aerial reconnaissance for demining and for the detection of such objects. The tank was sunk during an unsuccessful attempt to cross the Desna River near the village of Shestovytsia. The work was carried out by sapper divers and specialists of diving and rescue units of the State Special Service of Transport together with military personnel of the “North” operational command. Previously, the tank had no significant damage.

Sumy Oblast 

During the day, July 14, 110 explosions were recorded in Sumy Oblast as a result of russian shelling. Residential buildings and agricultural machinery were damaged.

On the morning of July 15, russia shelled the Khotyn community of the Sumy Oblast. Previously, there were no casualties among the civilian population and no destruction of civil infrastructure.

Eastern Oblast 

Kharkiv Oblast 

Yesterday, the enemy fired mortars and artillery at the border and front-line settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raions.

In particular, areas of Kozacha Lopan, Neskuchne, Ternova, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamianka, Kislivka, Figolivka and others were under enemy fire.

No large-scale destruction, victims or victims among the civilian population were recorded during the day.

Demining is ongoing in the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 11 hectares of territory and neutralized 68 explosive objects.

Donetsk Oblast 

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion 

In the Avdiyivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Pervomaisk raion. He carried out airstrikes near Avdiyivka and Pervomaisk. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Berdychi, Keramik, Lastochkine, Avdiyivka of the Donetsk Oblast.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the Maryinka area. The enemy shelled more than 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Georgiivka of the Donetsk region.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy enemy aircraft and artillery fire, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the Berkhivka raion of Donetsk Oblast. The enemy launched airstrikes near Stupochy and Dilyivka. More than 15 settlements, including Druzhba, Vasyukivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultine, Diliivka, North and South of Donetsk Oblast, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

Luhansk Oblast

In the occupied settlements of Luhansk Oblast, people who have not received a russian passport are being forced to apply for temporary migration cards. 

In the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk Oblast, “businessmen” have started offering one-time use of mobile communications. For example, in Hirske, 30 minutes on the network cost 100 rubles.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolaiv Oblast

On the night of July 14-15, three “Shahed 136/131” kamikaze drones were shot down by air defense forces in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Yesterday, on July 14, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the coastline and the territory of Ochakiv in the Ochakiv community. As a result, residential buildings and the Internet line were damaged. There was a fire of dry grass in an open area, which was promptly eliminated. There were no casualties.

Also yesterday, hostile artillery strikes were made on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Bashtanka, and Voznesensk Raions, the day and night were relatively calm.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, on July 14, russian troops shelled 15 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. So far, 27 reports of residential infrastructure destruction have been recorded. 

On the night of July 15, the russian military attacked Zaporizhzhia using a UAV. A 62-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to his hands. An infrastructure facility was damaged in one of the city’s districts. Housing stock was also damaged: windows in four multi-story buildings were blown out. 

On the afternoon of July 15, the russian army shelled the village of Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Three people were wounded. The administrative building of the village council was destroyed.

Odesa Oblast

At night on July 14, soldiers of the Odesa Border Guard Detachment destroyed an attack drone over the sea. During a thunderstorm and storm, border guards spotted one of the drones moving in their direction and opened fire on it with small arms. 

In Odesa, officers of various police services and units who had been working in Kherson Oblast for two months were met and thanked. Law enforcement officers helped locals cope with the aftermath of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant explosion and recorded russian war crimes.

Swimming in the Black Sea in Odesa and eating fish caught there is still prohibited despite periodic improvements in the quality of sea water samples, as it is short-term, the city council said. The results vary depending on weather conditions, which can cause sediment to rise from the seabed, as well as newly polluted water masses to enter from the mouth of the Dnipro River.

Kherson Oblast 

Over the past day, the russian army fired 70 times at Kherson Oblast with mortars, artillery, tanks, “Grad” rockets, aircraft, and drones. Ten shells were fired at Kherson. There were hits to residential neighborhoods and a country house of the Kherson community. No one was killed or injured.

On the morning of July 15, russian troops fired artillery at Zolota Balka in Novooleksandrivska TG in Kherson Oblast. A cultural center and a shop were damaged. No one was killed or injured. 

In the Kherson Oblast, over the past day on July 14, rescuers extinguished three fires that started after russian shelling. The fires were extinguished in open areas of more than five hectares.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The night of July 15 in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was free of russian shelling. 

In Dnipro, a summer camp is open for children of military personnel, IDPs, and those who lost their parents due to the war. During their visits to the camp, children are offered various workshops, art therapy, and talks with psychologists. 

Kirovohrad Oblast

The Svitlovodsk City Raion Court of the Kirovohrad Oblast sentenced a man who called the russian invaders «heroes» on social media and called on them to «cleanse» Ukraine. The court case documents state that the man posted photos of the russian occupiers, whom he called «heroes» and wished them victory, on a banned social network. In one of the posts, the accused claimed that there were «nazis» in Ukraine and glorified the russian invading army, calling for the continuation of the war in Ukraine. In June, the accused entered into an agreement with the prosecutor, admitting his guilt and agreeing on the punishment. Thus, he admitted his guilt in justifying, recognizing as legitimate russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and glorifying its participants (Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court approved this agreement and issued a sentence: three years of imprisonment with a probationary period of one year.

Poltava Oblast

47 utility workers from Poltava Oblast arrived in Kherson to help local residents prepare for the heating season. We also sent the necessary sanitary ware – wash basins, faucets, toilets, pipes and accessories. They were provided by a socially responsible business of the Oblast. The new brigades will reinforce colleagues who are already working on clearing the streets and houses after flooding as a result of the enemy’s undermining of the Kakhovka HPP. Part of them will install plumbing in one of the local dormitories.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Fallen defender from Vinnytsia Yevgeny Pindyk was posthumously awarded with the Order «For Courage» of the 3rd degree, which was handed over to his father.

Cherkasy Oblast

On July 15, in the village of Melnyky in Cherkasy Oblast, after a break, the festival of the unconquered nation «Kholodny Yar» began its program. The organizers deployed locations near the Haydamatsky Pond and the Motryna Monastery. The goal of this year’s event was to gather a large circle of like-minded people who defend Ukraine from the enemy in the midst of the war.

A resident of Cherkasy Oblast was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. She justified russia’s armed attack on Ukraine and spread information about it.

Western Oblasts

Chernivtsi Oblast 

An employee of the Chernivtsi Oblast military administration, senior lieutenant Oleksandra Kholevchuk received an honorary beret of the color of the soil – the highest award for mountain stormtroopers.

Bukovyna received another humanitarian aid from the partner region of Swabia (Germany). These are two generators that were handed over to Brusnytsia and Nedoboyivtsi communities.
