Kyiv

Kharkiv Oblast

On the night of November 17, russia shelled Kupyansk-Vuzlovy: a shell hit the yard of a residential building. There was a fire, no one was injured.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Southern Oblasts

Mykolayiv Oblast

On the night of November 17, the forces and means of air defense destroyed the Shahed-136/131 type attack drone in the Mykolayiv Oblast.

During November 16, the russian army shelled the open territories of two villages in the Kutsurub community, as well as the town of Ochakiv. There are no injuries or deaths.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

In Zaporizhzhia, air defense forces shot down a russian UAV “Shahed”.

118 blows were inflicted by military personnel on 21 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 24 reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. Civilians were not injured.

As a result of russian missile strikes the day before yesterday, four residents of the Komyshuvaha community were injured. One woman is in serious but stable condition. More than 400 apartments in multi-apartment buildings were damaged, private houses and the almost completely destroyed school building.

In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the russian army conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Robotyne and west of Verbove, where the Ukrainian military repulsed six attacks.

At the temporarily occupied ZNPP, the russian military does not comply with a number of technological requirements that guarantee the safe and correct operation of the equipment. In particular, this applies to power units No. 2, 4 and 6.

Kherson Oblast

Russian troops shelled the Kherson Oblast 58 times during the day. Shells hit the administration building and a store in the Kherson raion, a medical facility, a store, gas stations and a car wash in Kherson. Six people died, ten, including a child, were injured.

As a result of massive shelling by the russian army in Kherson in the late evening of November 16, four people died and five were injured. High-rise and private buildings were damaged in the Central and Dniprovskyi raions.

Russian troops attacked Kherson on the night of November 16-17. One of the projectiles hit a residential building, starting a fire. Also, as a result of the evening shelling of the Oblast center, a warehouse, two cars and two farm buildings burned. All fires were extinguished.

Today, the russian army shelled the village of Veletenske in the Kherson Oblast, hitting a house. A 60-year-old man died.

In the afternoon, the russian army once again shelled the Daryivka community in the Kherson Oblast. Two people were injured, they were hospitalized – the prosecutor’s office.

Four children were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast to the territory controlled by Ukraine. Currently, they and their families are in Kyiv, they are being helped by doctors and psychologists. In total, during 2023, it was possible to return 156 children of the Kherson Oblast.

In the Kherson Oblast, the sale of alcoholic beverages was banned in 160 settlements and measures were intensified against curfew violators and military service evaders.

The command of the marines reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have established themselves on three bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson Oblast.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of November 17, the russian army attacked the Nikopol raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. They hit Nikopol and the Marganets community. There are no casualties or injuries.

Kirovohrad Oblast

On November 17, deputies of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council allocated 11.7 million hryvnias to support the military.

Cherkasy Oblast

The Cherkasy Regional Council has increased funding for the terrorism defense program by another UAH 9 million. The decision was made at a session on November 17. These funds will be spent on the purchase of logistics.

In Cherkasy, fighters of the “Rage” brigade have completed their initial professional training. These are the future assault troopers of a new model paramilitary police unit. The recruits were taught how to use weapons, shoot, and provide first aid.

Mykhailo Yazhuk from the village of Novooleksiyivka, Sokyriany Raion, was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree.

Mykola Musurivskyi from Zarohany received the Presidential Award “For Defense of Ukraine”. Yaroslav Nevirianskyi from Rososhany was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree.

The personnel of the Security Police Department in Chernivtsi Oblast acquired 6 FPV kamikaze drones. They are designed to destroy enemy vehicles. These devices were handed over to the company of attack UAVs of the 107th separate brigade of the Bukovyna Territorial Defense Forces.

A new large TV and fifteen outdoor benches have been installed in the Chernivtsi geriatric nursing home.
