Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

Four adults were injured in the Darnytskyi district as a result of a russian missile attack on Kyiv. Medics provided them with help on the spot. Rocket debris was also found in Holosiyivskyi district. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed eight missiles that flew at the capital on a ballistic trajectory. 120 private houses were without electricity for several hours.

As a result of a missile strike, one man was wounded in the legs in the Bortnychi microdistrict. Another three women have an acute reaction to stress. On several streets, as a result of the blast wave, the windows of a dozen residential buildings were blown out.

From December 11 to 14, military exercises of the City’s Forces and Means of Defense will be held in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. The purpose of the exercises is to increase combat capabilities during the preparation and conduct of a defense operation.

There will be no extra days off for Christmas and New Year because of the war. Christmas (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1) fall on Mondays and will be normal business days.

Kyiv Oblast 

There were no hits to critical or residential infrastructure in Kyiv Oblast. In one of the communities, it was recorded that debris fell on the yard of a private house. The fence and the building were damaged.

In the Kyiv Oblast, russian captain Dmytro Dyogot, who is involved in the mass murders of civilians, was sentenced to life imprisonment in absentia. In particular, during the temporary occupation of the Oblast in the village of Havronshchyna, a russian stopped an unarmed 70-year-old man on the street, hit him and shot him in the back.

The Kyiv Oblast allocated more than 10 million hryvnias to form a reserve in the energy sector in case of an emergency. Stocks of equipment, spare parts, pumping equipment, reagents, etc. have been prepared.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Another evacuation train arrived in Berdychiv with 19 displaced people, including three children, in particular, one child with a disability.

In Zhytomyr Oblast, an integrated project on comprehensive protection, education and mental health support of children and families from among displaced persons will be implemented. Deputy head of the Zhytomyr OMA Viktor Gradivskyi met with representatives of the “Lumos Ukraine” charitable foundation. The participants discussed the implementation of the project in Zhytomyr, Sumy and Kharkiv Oblasts in cooperation with the “Ukraine without orphans” alliance.

Chernihiv Oblast

On December 10, the russians shelled three border villages of Chernihiv Oblast. In total, border guards recorded 15 explosions.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” will deliver the Bethlehem Flame of Peace to 24 railway stations in Ukraine, including Chernihiv.

Sumy Oblast

During the day of December 10, the russian army carried out 78 strikes on Sumy Oblast. 5 private houses in Seredyna-Buda and the administrative building of the railway station in the town of Druzhba were damaged.

At night, the russian army shelled the Seredyna-Buda community. 20 explosions from grenade launchers were recorded.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast 

At least 18 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were attacked by the russian federation with mortars and artillery during December 10.

As a result of shelling in the Oblast, apartment buildings, gas pipelines, garages, private houses, administrative buildings, and cars were destroyed.

Five communities were hit by airstrikes during the day. Defense forces repelled four russian attacks in the Synkivka and Petropavlivka areas.

In order to create conditions for blocking the Kupyansk, the russian federation is trying to capture Synkivka with assault companies, but it is suffering losses, the russians began to transfer assault units that were in reserve to this area.

Donetsk Oblast 

The russian army launched an offensive, using armored vehicles, in the Avdiyivka and Maryinka areas on December 10.

The occupying army fired 17 times on 9 settlements of Donetsk Oblast on December 10 — there were no casualties or injuries.

More than 85 russian attacks were repelled by the Ukrainian military in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Lyman, Maryinka, and Shakhtarske directions during December 10. The russian army carried out most of its attacks near Avdiyivka.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

In the Lysychansk direction, a house in Serebryanka of the Siversk community was damaged, Verkhnyokamianske and Pereyizne of the Zvanivka community, Torske and Zarichne of the Lyman community were fired upon.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, Elizavetivka and Katerynivka of the Marinyinka community were shelled with artillery. In the Kurakhove community, 4 houses were damaged in Berestki, and the private sector of Kurakhove was shelled.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

A store in Toretsk was destroyed on the Horlivka direction. In the Chasiv Yar community, 6 private houses and an outbuilding were damaged. Rozdolivka is under fire in the Soledar community.

Mariupol

“Do not be silent! Captivity kills!” In 11 cities of Ukraine, an action was held in support of the captured defenders of Mariupol. The participants organized a live corridor with posters in their hands in Kyiv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkassy, ​​Kovel, Odessa, Kryvyi Rih. The goal is to remind about the Ukrainian prisoners of war, in particular, the defenders of Mariupol, who have been held in russian captivity for more than 1.5 years.

The occupiers continue the policy of forced passporting of the region. Movement in the temporarily occupied territories is possible only with a permit from the occupation administration. All passes are actually valid until the end of the year, and from January 1 they can also be issued only if you have a russian passport.

Mariupol has turned into a continuous rink – there is ice in the city. People complain about unpaved roads and sidewalks.

Luhansk Oblast 

In the LPR, the occupiers want to ban the movement of cars with Ukrainian license plates from January 1, 2024. In order to have time to change the license plate, you need to have a russian passport.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolayiv Oblast 

13 russian drones of the “Shahed-131/136” type were shot down in Mykolayiv Oblast on the night of December 11. Due to falling debris, infrastructure was damaged in Snigurivska, Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities. The russian military also struck the water area and the town of Ochakiv.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of Mykolaiv, who was recruited by the russian special services. For 10,000 hryvnias, the man provided the representatives of the aggressor country with the coordinates of the bases of Ukrainian troops.

In the Pervomaisk raion of Mykolaiv Oblast, 8% of shelters are ready, another 72% are partially ready. In addition, new anti-radiation storage facilities are being built in Arbuzyne and Pervomaisk communities.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast 

Military personnel of russia made 78 strikes on 16 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. There were no reports of damage or casualties.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled three attacks by the russian army in the Robotyne area.

Five russian FPV drones were destroyed by border guards in the Zaporizhzhia direction with the help of an anti-drone gun. With them, the russians tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military.

The sounds of explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk, in Melitopol a series of explosions rang out, which could be heard in different areas of the city for half an hour.

The Bethlehem flame of peace was delivered to Zaporizhzhia. The lamp was transported from Kyiv for almost 10 hours. The Flame of Bethlehem will be at the train station until Christmas.

Odesa Oblast 

Air defense forces shot down two “Shahed-131/136” type drones in the Odesa region during a night attack by russia. In general, it was possible to destroy all 18 kamikaze drones in the south, which were released from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The Bethlehem flame of peace was brought to Odessa. He was delivered by Ukrzaliznytsia on the eve of Christmas by scouts of “Plasta”. The organization plans to spread the fire to hospitals and brigades.

Kherson Oblast

Russian troops shelled the territory of the Kherson region 84 times during the past day. They beat residential neighborhoods. They hit an educational institution and a medical institution in Kherson. Two people are injured.

In Kherson, after another attack by the russian army, one of the high-rise buildings was shelled twice in a day. There is destruction in the educational institution. Electricity supply has partially disappeared in the city. Two men were injured.

Russian troops shelled the Kherson community. A russian shell hit a summer kitchen in one of the villages. The rescuers retrieved the injured woman from under the rubble and unblocked the dead man’s body. As of 4:00 p.m., as a result of the shelling of the Kherson community, one person was killed and three were injured.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Last night, air defense forces shot down an X-59 missile in the sky over the Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Sounds of explosions are heard in Kryvyi Rih.

In Kryvyi Rih, a bomb threat was reported in a lyceum and 3 kindergartens. An inspection is underway.

About 3.8 thousand residents of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast remain without electricity due to the bad weather that has been going on since December 8. 42 settlements in the region are partially or completely without power.

The Peace Light of Bethlehem arrived at the central railway station of Dnipro.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Teachers and students of the Bobrynets Special School of the Bobrynets City Community of Kropyvnytskyi District help wounded Ukrainian defenders recover. A public initiative: “Pixel Wizards” sew 10 sets of adaptive clothing and 20 sets of regular underwear for the burn unit of the Kirovohrad Regional Hospital.

Poltava Oblast

A renovated rehabilitation department was opened in Poltava Oblast. A room with the necessary equipment for rehabilitation was set up in the department of the Lubny Intensive Care Hospital. This includes a rotator, exercise bike, foot apparatus, treadmill, and others.  

 For a Poltava resident from the OPFOR battalion in Poltava Oblast, money is being raised for a night vision device. Oleksiy Litvinov serves in the 214th separate special OPFOR battalion. The soldier and his fellow soldiers need equipment worth 125 thousand hryvnias.

More than 30 streets have been Ukrainianized in the villages of the Shyshaky community. The community got rid of street names in honor of lenin, May 9, gagarin, pushkin, etc. Instead, streets named Chumatsky Shlyakh, Chervona Ruta, and Defenders of Ukraine appeared.

Vinnytsia Oblast

A memorial plaque was unveiled in the city of Bar in honor of the fallen National Guard soldier Vadym Nikolayev. The plaque was installed on the building of the lyceum where the defender studied.

Two more objects will be added to the list of cultural heritage monuments of history and art in Vinnytsia: the riflemen’s cemetery of the soldiers of the Galician Army and the Army of the Ukrainian People’s Council and a monument to the liquidators and victims of the Chernobyl disaster.

The executive committee of Vinnytsia City Council approved a list of free community service for convicts. Offenders sentenced by the court to community service will be free to clean, plaster and plant trees.

On the eve of Christmas, the Peace Light of Bethlehem was brought to Vinnytsia. It was brought to the city by train. Today, residents of Vinnytsia will be able to take the fire from the birthplace of Jesus Christ to their homes.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

About 3,700 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine at the border with Poland. This is 200 trucks more than the previous day. The Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne, Yagodyn-Dorogusk, Krakivets-Korchova, and Shehyni-Medyka checkpoints continue to be blocked.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Khmelnytskyi is one of the 8 regions of Ukraine where the Victory Harvest Farming Development Center project is being implemented. More than 20 farmers from Khmelnytskyi have already registered for free consultations in the project.

The Bethlehem Fire has arrived in Khmelnytskyi. The Plast members will distribute it to everyone – they have prepared candles for this purpose. Then the fire will be transferred to the communities of the region.

Chernivtsi Oblast

A new coffee shop has opened on Constitutional Street: they don’t sell coffee and cakes, but treat them to a donation. The establishment is a social project for the adaptation, socialization, and preparation of young people with mental disabilities for further employment.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Heads of diplomatic missions of the European Union member states are on a working visit to Zakarpattia. Among them is the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Ms. Katarina Mathernova. The agenda includes visits to communities where national communities of the region live, familiarization with all spheres of life, communication with representatives of national communities, local authorities, and self-government. They also visited Berehove, where they held a briefing and familiarized the guests with the ethnic composition of the region and the educational, religious, and cultural needs of its residents.   

Hungarian carriers have launched a protest on the border with Ukraine near the “Záhony-Chop” checkpoint. This will restrict the movement of trucks to the Ukrainian border. A several-kilometer-long queue of trucks has already formed there.  

Soldiers of the 101st separate territorial defense brigade of Zakarpattia received sweets, drawings, warm clothes, and medicines from students of Uzhhorod lyceum named after V. Hrendzhi-Donsky of Uzhhorod school No. 6.   

The Peace Light of Bethlehem has arrived in Zakarpattia. Today it was handed over to Ukrainian scouts by Slovak scouts. The event took place at the Uzhhorod Greek Catholic Cathedral.
