Northern Oblast
Kyiv
In Kyiv, the air alert was announced three times and lasted almost 5 hours in total. In the morning, the capital was activated by dozens of rockets of various types. Air defense forces hit more than three dozen air targets over Kyiv. But there is destruction and victims.
The building of the Lukyanivske metro station was damaged, the entrance to the metro was closed, and trains passed through the station without stopping. The station works as a shelter.
In the Podilskyi district, a warehouse caught fire on an area of approximately 3,000 m2.

Students of the Kyiv Polytechnic University handed over the first batch of skids for drones to the Armed Forces. The device is the higher’s own development, which is almost twice as cheap as the offers on the market. The military will be able to use these devices to eliminate russian sabotage groups.
Kyiv Oblast

Odesa Oblast
Odesa was attacked by drones and missiles at night and in the morning. Three rockets hit residential buildings in Odesa. Several dozen buildings were damaged by debris. One of them hit a section of the residential complex and exploded inside, burning down several floors. 21 residential buildings were damaged, among them two private ones, all others were high-rise buildings. As of 17:00 – 5 dead, 26 injured, including a 6-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl, as well as five law enforcement officers. Debris analysis and search and rescue operations are ongoing. There may still be people under the rubble.
On December 30, Odesa and Odesa Oblast will mourn those who died as a result of the missile strike.
There are three missile carriers with a total salvo of 16 Calibers in the Black Sea.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled Kherson Oblast 121 times yesterday. They hit residential areas, a post office in Beryslav Raion and an educational institution in Kherson. Three people were wounded.
In the morning, russian troops dropped explosives from a drone on Beryslav. They hit a local resident who was riding a scooter. Also, a resident of Chervonyi Mayak, who came under russian shelling yesterday, was admitted to the hospital.
Russian troops attacked Korabelnyi district of Kherson in the afternoon. Three men were wounded.
At night, over Kherson Oblast, air defense forces destroyed a russian drone of the Shahed-131/136 type.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
In Dnipro, six people were killed and 30 injured, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child. A rocket hit a shopping center, and shrapnel damaged residential buildings. One of the sections of the maternity hospital was destroyed, but no one was injured, and patients and medical staff managed to take cover. Two schools and a library were destroyed.

Cherkasy Oblast has donated almost UAH 20 million worth of aid for the defenders. This includes 200 FPV drones, DJI Matrice 350 quadcopters, electronic means to counter UAVs, radio stations, night vision devices, thermal imaging equipment, and other necessary items received from volunteer organizations. All of this was delivered to the front line and the anti-aircraft machine gun battalion that defends the sky over the region.
Poltava Oblast
In 2023, the russian army shelled Poltava Oblast more than ten times. Most of the attacks were on Myrhorod and Kremenchuk Raions.
About two hundred people live in the modular town, which was opened in the summer of 2023 in Poltava.
