Kyiv received from the US government special equipment and generators for work at the capital’s boiler and heat supply stations. New JCB backhoe loaders will help emergency workers to quickly repair damage to heat networks and restore heat supply to Kyiv residents. Modern excavators have already been delivered to the capital and will be involved in the work in the near future. Currently, 38 Kyivteploenergo emergency teams are working in all districts of the city. Every day, they eliminate 30-40 damages to heating networks.

Yesterday, around 11:45 p.m., a critical infrastructure object was damaged in Kupyansk as a result of russian shelling from the S-300 air defense system. In addition, a two-story administration building burned down in the Kupyansk raion due to enemy shelling. There are no victims or injured.
The museum of Grigory Skovoroda in Zolochiv raion, which was destroyed by russian shelling, will be preserved. Two million hryvnias were allocated for this from the regional budget.
Demining of the territories of the region continues. During the day, pyrotechnics destroyed 280 explosive objects.
On the 14th of December, it became known about two civilians of Donetsk Oblast killed by russians: in Bakhmut and Rozdolivka. Another 4 people in the region were injured.
In total, since the day of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, russian rockets have killed 1,257 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,742.
Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
The enemy concentrated its efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Avdiyivka direction.
During the current day, the enemy carried out air and missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of the Kurakhove community, namely Kurakhove, Vesely Hayt and Trudove, and 1 private house was damaged.
In Avdiivka, there were two airstrikes over the old part of the city at night, and in the morning the city came under fire from «Hrads» on the residential quarter.
The enemy fired shells at the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Ocheretyne, and the village of Karlivka.
Residents of Avdiivka and Siversk near the front received help with coal and foodstuffs. The situation in the frontline cities is extremely difficult. The russian occupiers turned them into solid ruins. People live in basements, suffer from the cold, without electricity, gas, lack of food and medical care. The humanitarian cargo was brought by the police of Donetsk Oblast.
Residents of Pokrovsk and Myrnograd communities of Pokrovsk raion receive free bread. 4,000 breads will be given to residents of the starosta districts of the Pokrovsk community: the villages of Lysivka, Pishchane, Pershe Travnya, and Gryshyno. Such assistance was provided by the “ADRA Ukraine” foundation and the International Food Program (WFP).
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
The city continues to recover from the recent shelling. Communal services have already finished closing the broken windows, the cleaning of the area from glass continues.
Residents of Kramatorsk are experiencing everyday difficulties due to power outages. This is due to the fact that the multi-apartment sector is connected to the gas supply by only 10%, so cooking has become a problem for the residents of Kramatorsk. There is no heat in houses with autonomous heating.
In order to support the children of Donetsk Oblast, the Marathon of Good Events is starting in Kramatorsk. It will last from December 19 to January 13, theaters, cultural institutions and humanitarian headquarters in 8 Oblasts of Ukraine are involved in the participation – in total, more than 50 events will take place within their walls, in which about 20 thousand children from Donetsk Oblast will be able to take part. Attendance is free, and all guests will receive gifts.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion
Areas of seventeen settlements were shelled in the Bakhmut direction. Among them are Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Bilogorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ozaryanivka, Pivnichne and Opytne of the Donetsk Oblast. The invaders also carried out an airstrike near the city of Bakhmut.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion
In the direction of Volnovakha, Vugledar was subject to periodic artillery fire — 3 houses were damaged, and there were no casualties.
The occupying forces do not stop shelling liberated settlements. The russians hit with aerial bombs and S-300 missiles.
During the day, on December 14, the russian occupiers shelled Kherson Oblast 86 times with artillery, anti-aircraft guns, tanks and mortars. Three people died, including an 8-year-old child, and another 13 were injured.
Today, the administrative building of the Kherson OMA was destroyed by day-time shelling by russian troops. Windows in nearby residential buildings were also broken. Six people were injured.
Russian troops hit private warehouses in Kherson. A large-scale fire broke out on an area of 3,000 square meters, which was extinguished after more than 12 hours.
In Kherson, a russian projectile hit the place where the point of medical aid and humanitarian aid is located. In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanska raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Specialists of «Mykolaivoblenergo» restored electricity supply to five settlements of the Oblast, released in November. Residents of these villages have been without electricity since March 2022 — russian shelling damaged or completely destroyed most of the energy equipment and networks.

The funeral of 21-year-old paratrooper Danylo Berezhnyi, born in 2001, was held in Svitlovodsk of Oleksandriia raion. The warrior was the commander of an anti-aircraft missile platoon of an air assault battalion. He was killed on May 10 during an enemy rocket attack in Lyman raion in Donetsk oblast.
In Holovanivsk,the Order “For Courage” of the III degree was given to the daughter of perished serviceman Mykola Kanaikin at the meeting of the village council. In 2014, Mykola Kanaikin joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His brothers-in-the-arms called him “Kobzar” because he loved the works of Taras Shevchenko. He died in Luhansk oblast on March 8.

Ihor Levchenko from Poltava oblast was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. In June, during the battle with the occupants in Kharkiv oblast, he led the actions of a tank crew. The warrior constantly exerted fire on the enemy, even when the chassis of his tank was hit. Having opened the hatch, using an assault rifle, the junior sergeant forced the enemy infantry group to withdraw, after which he was able to bring the tank to an intermediate line and save the lives of the crew and the vehicle itself.
Due to power outages, the number of domestic fires in Poltava oblast has increased. Since the beginning of the heating season, there have been 179 fires in the residential sector of Poltava oblast. Most fires were caused by smoking, short circuits, and improper use of stove heating.
In Poltava oblast, starting from December 15, persons under the age of 14 are prohibited to be on the street, in public places unaccompanied by adults from 21:00 to 07:00. Today, wounded servicemen and Kamianets-Podilskyi residents in difficult life circumstances can receive financial assistance from the community budget. UAH 10 thousand – for servicemen, registered in the community, who were in captivity, and received wounds, contusions, and injuries.
