Kyiv
Ten years ago, on February 18, 2014, the most tragic stage of the Revolution of Dignity began in Ukraine. On that day, protesters organized a march to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which was called the “Peaceful Offensive”. As a result of the confrontation, 23 people died and 509 were injured.

Kyiv Oblast

Sumy Oblast
On February 17, russian troops fired 53 times at Sumy Oblast. 250 explosions were recorded. Seven communities were shelled. Private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, russian troops conducted more than 50 attacks on the border areas of Kharkiv Oblast. The enemies used anti-aircraft guns, S-300 missiles and artillery.
On February 17, shelling caused six fires in Kharkiv Oblast. Private houses and outbuildings burned in Kupiansk, Lypky, Zahryzove, Vilcha and Vovchansk.
Two people were injured as a result of yesterday’s shelling of Senkove village in Kupiansk Raion by russian troops.
Russia launched about 40 Uragan rocket launchers at Svitlychne village in the evening of February 17, no one was injured or killed. Residential buildings and cars were damaged.
This morning in Kupiansk, emergency rescue operations were completed at the site of the February 17 russian strikes. The rescuers removed the body fragments of a dead man from the rubble of a residential building. This brings the death toll to two, with five others injured.
Donetsk Oblast
Yesterday, Ukrainian troops repelled 65 attacks by russian occupation forces on the frontlines of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. In the Avdiivka sector, the russian army attacked 14 times near Lastochkine.
Two Ukrainian prisoners of war were shot dead by the russian army this morning in Donetsk Oblast. It happened in the area of the 10th Brigade northeast of Vesele.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
Yesterday evening, the russian army shelled Sloviansk, targeting the school where there was a “point of invincibility” and a social canteen. The body of the deceased was found from under the rubble of the destroyed school.
The russian army hit Kramatorsk with two Kh-22 supersonic missiles. They targeted the industrial zone and the private sector. The bodies of three people were found from under the rubble of the house. They are a grandmother and a mother with her son. Two houses were destroyed, at least 23 others were damaged.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On the night of February 18, the russian occupying forces hit Selidove with missiles. The building of the educational institution was destroyed by shelling, the houses and the swimming pool were damaged.
Two children remain in the village of Zhelanne of the Ocheretyne community. The rest have been forcibly evacuated since January 29. Currently, 1,700 residents remain in the community, in some villages and towns there are 1-2 people each.
A certain number of Ukrainian fighters were captured by the russians when leaving Avdiivka under the pressure of the overwhelming forces of the russian army.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Everyday, 60-70 residents of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast leave on free evacuation flights of “Ukrzaliznytsia” to Lviv or Khmelnytskyi.
Kherson Oblast
Over the past day, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 39 times, firing 131 shells from various types of weapons. The enemy hit an educational institution, a printing house in Kherson and a medical institution in the Kherson Raion. One person died, eight were injured.
Yesterday, the russian military attacked the settlement of Shyroka Balka in the Kherson Oblast with an FPV drone. The injured 29-year-old employee of the State Emergency Service was hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury and concussion. The projectiles also damaged the official police car, the law enforcement officers were not injured.
At dawn, the russian army shelled the Dariivka community in the Kherson Oblast. More than 20 houses were damaged in one of the settlements. There is no information about the victims.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
A russian drone was shot down over the Pavlohrad Raion by military air defense units yesterday evening.
On the night of February 18, russian troops hit the Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery. There were hits around the Nikopol and Myrove community. A 56-year-old man was injured. He has a shrapnel wound to the head and a fractured forearm.
Kirovohrad Oblast
The day before, the russian army launched a missile attack on the Kirovohrad Oblast from tactical aircraft. Air defense destroyed the Kh-59 guided missile.
Poltava Oblast
The russian army attacked the Poltava Oblast with unmanned aerial vehicles. There was a hit on an infrastructure object on the territory of the Poltava Raion. There were no victims or injured.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
In Zhydachiv, the Lviv Oblast, high school student Sava Lentsyk, together with a friend, assembles and configures drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The young man has been purposefully making drones for military personnel for almost two years, because he wants to be useful for the Ukrainian military.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
