The enemy is trying to keep the temporarily captured territories, concentrates efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions. At the same time, he does not stop conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka areas.

During the day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Ivanhrad, Andriyivka, Soledar, Kurdyumivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske, Maryinka, and Kamianka of the Donetsk oblast.

The enemy is shelling the positions of our troops along the contact line, carrying out fortification equipment of positions in certain directions and conducting aerial reconnaissance. Violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war, it continues to strike critical infrastructure and the homes of the civilian population.

During the day, the enemy launched a rocket attack and launched 11 MLRS attacks.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. The republic of belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. The threat of missile strikes and the use of attack UAVs from the territory of the republic of belarus remains.

The enemy shelled in other directions:

in the Slobozhanskyi direction – with the use of mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Bochkove, Vilkhuvatka, Budarki, Chugunivka, Shevchenkove, Strilecha and Dvorichna;

in the Kupyansk direction – from mortars, barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Berestovka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Pishchane, Pershotravneve, Fiholivka and Krokhmalne;

in the Lyman direction – from mortars, barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of Vyshneve, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, Nevske, Serhiivka and Zarichne settlements;

in the Bakhmut direction – from tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Ivanhrad, Toretsk, Kurdyumivka, Mayorsk and Ozaryanivka;

in the Avdiivka direction, enemy shelling was recorded in the areas of Maryinka, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Nevelske and Novokalynivka settlements.

On the Novopavlivskyi and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy carried out artillery fire in the areas of the settlements of Orihiv, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Neskuchne, and Poltavka.

Areas of settlements near the contact line were damaged by fire in the South Buh direction. The city of Nikopol was directly affected by the fire of enemy jet artillery.

The enemy continues to equip defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

russian invaders are restricting the right of free movement of civilians in the temporarily occupied territories. So, local residents of Pershotravneve settlement of Kharkiv oblast are prohibited from leaving the village.

Another modular town was opened in the Chernihiv Oblast. Residents of the village of Novyi Bykiv of the Nova Basan community, who lost their homes due to the war, will live in a modular town. This is the third such town in the Chernihiv Oblast.

Sumy Oblast

Yesterday evening, russians fired mortar shells at the area of the settlement of Starikove, the Shalyhyne community. 7 shots were recorded.

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy continued shelling the settlements of the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv raions of the Kharkiv Oblast, located near the line of contact and the border with the russian federation. In particular, Vilkhuvatka, Budarky, Shevchenkove, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Berestove, Pershotravneve and other settlements were bombarded with mortars, tube and rocket artillery.

No civilian casualties were reported during the day as a result of hostile shelling. At the same time, a 71-year-old woman, who was herding goats in the Kharkiv Raion near the village of Kozacha Lopan, tripped a mine. She was hospitalized with injuries.

In de-occupied Kupiansk, they started to restore gas supply. “Ukrposhta” also resumed its work. Residents have already begun to receive pensions accumulated over 4 months. In addition, communication is being restored in the city. 4G from the Vodafone, Kyivstar and Lifecell operators started working in the test mode.

Donetsk Oblast

On October 25, the russians killed one civilian of the Donetsk Oblast — in Bakhmut. In addition, law enforcement officers found the bodies of 4 civilians who died during the occupation in Drobysheve. It also became known about 4 wounded yesterday.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russian military has killed 1,100 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast and wounded another 2,472. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

On October 26, rolling blackouts will be introduced in the Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, and Volnovakha raions of the Donetsk Oblast. The schedule of power outages has not yet been made public.

Kramatorsk

Around 3 a.m. russians launched a missile attack on Druzhkivka. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties, but there is destruction: the college building was destroyed and high-rise buildings were damaged.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops fired throughout the day at such settlements as Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, and Novokalynove.

In the Donetsk sector, russians fired at Pervomaiske of the Ocheretyne community, as well as Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Katerynivka of the Maryinka community. No information on casualties and destruction has been received yet.

Bakhmut

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars, tube and jet artillery near the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Ivangrad, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, Mayorsk and Odradivka.

Chasovyi Yar and Bakhmut communities were affected in the Horlivka direction. In Bakhmut, 1 person died, the technical school building burned down, and private houses were damaged. On the other hand, shelling on the outskirts of the Chasovyi Yar community fortunately left no casualties or destruction.

Mariupol

Mykolaiv Oblast

Today, the Shyroke community came under fire from the russians, the hit was recorded outside the settlement. There were no injuries or damage.

Odesa Oblast

On October 26, a unit of the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Air Command “South” shot down a russian Ka-52 attack helicopter in the Beryslav Raion.

In the Black Sea, the russian naval group decreased from 11 to 9, but a submarine appeared. In total, the russian military keeps three missile carriers with 20 “Kalibr” [cruise missile] on standby.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Yesterday evening, a russian missile hit a gas station in Dnipro. Unfortunately, two people died. One of the victims is 25-year-old Inna Odanets. The girl was pregnant, her husband Maxim was accompanying her. He survived, but was seriously injured. Currently, the man is in hospital in a serious condition. In addition to him, 3 more wounded were hospitalized. Two cars were destroyed by the explosion, two more were partially affected. A complex of gas station buildings, a car wash, and a tire fitting building were damaged. The power line also suffered severe damage.

Russian troops covered the Chervonohryhorivka community near Nikopol with fire from the multiple launch rocket systems “Grad”. More than 600 families were left without electricity. Also, a man injured by russian shelling a few days ago died in the hospital. Prior to that, Nikopol, Marganets and Myrove communities were attacked with MLRS “Grad”, heavy artillery and kamikaze drones. Houses, cars, a food enterprise and a water supply were damaged.

Air defense forces shot down a russian drone “Shahed-136” over the oblast.

In Dnipro, an employee of the local TV channel “D1” Vladyslav Kalkatin was attacked with a knife. The victim was treated at the hospital.

On the anniversary of the liberation of Dnipro during the Second World War, the mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov handed over another batch of equipment to modern Ukrainian fighters from the Anti-Aircraft Defense.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Today, the Novoukpainka community paid the last respects to the deceased Hero Oleksandr Kaptushan, born in 1980. He was ceremoniously buried in the southern village of Ulyanivka (Voponivsky headman county, Novoukrainka community). Oleksandr Kaptushan volunteered to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the first days of the large-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. He was awarded the military unit’s awards. On October 17, 2022, a soldier died near the village of Opytne (Pokpovsk Raion). The eternal memory of the warrior.

Almost 124,000 hryvnias were collected as a result of the “Defender sees – Muscovite jumps” marathon, which took place in the Oleksandriya community. Funds were collected by the Volunteers Coordination Center. Three thermal imagers will be purchased with this money. Employees of culture, education, sports, and social spheres joined the fundraising company.

Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Soldier Ivan Sakov, a native of the village of Volodymyrets, is among the 10 Ukrainian servicemen who were set free from russian captivity today. He fell into the hands of the enemy at the end of September in the Mykolaiv Oblast.

Rivne received 500 mobile homes for community residents and displaced persons. They were provided by Swedish partners from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) within the framework of the pilot project of mobile shelter for citizens for the winter period. They will be installed in different neighborhoods of the city.

The unemployed of Rivne will be involved in socially useful and public works. Temporary employment contracts will be concluded with those who are willing to work. This includes, in particular, the execution of works of a defensive nature, for example, setting up and strengthening roadblocks, collecting firewood for the military, cutting down trees to form trenches, etc. Those willing will be directed by the Rivne Oblast Employment Center.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Three servicemen of the United Education and Training Center in Kamianets-Podilskyi were awarded the Order for Courage of the III class by the Presidential Decree for their personal courage and selfless actions in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. 11 soldiers of this center earned the medal “For Military Service of Ukraine”.

Thanks to the cooperation of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city government with the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development of France ACTED, offline registration of certain categories of internally displaced persons to receive multi-purpose cash assistance took place.

The other day, the community gave out 870 food kits with flour and cereals to internally displaced persons.

The coordinators of the AUI “Active Community” resumed the work of the initiative group “Ukrainian Garden”, which worked before the war. Its purpose is the arrangement of the library courtyard. The project won funds within the framework of implementation of the Public Budget programs. As a result, more than 300 thousand hryvnias were used. Today, the initiative group planted bushes and trees at this location.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna led the Heroes who died defending Ukraine from the russian invasion on their last journey. They said goodbye to the soldiers Ihor Poperechny in the city of Khotyn, Anatoly Sheshuriak in the village of Shereshenka, and Ivan Kozar in the village of Berehomet.

Military serviceman Ihor Rus from the village of Shipyntsi was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage ” of the III class.

Marta Levchenko, a volunteer from Chernivtsi, became a laureate of the national award “Treasure of the Nation 2022”. She is the founder of the “I am the future of Ukraine”charitable foundation , which takes care of children growing up in poverty, orphans deprived of parental care, disabled or with rare diseases. The largest project of the fund is the international crisis center “City of Good” for mothers with children in difficult life circumstances.

Ruslan Dudarets, head of the National Security Service in the Chernivtsi Oblast, and his deputy, Sviatoslav Kishlar, paid a working visit to the de-occupied region. The heads of the Bukovyna police checked the performance of subordinate personnel who are currently performing tasks in the territory of the Kharkiv Oblast. Law enforcement officers also delivered 20 tons of food to local residents: more than 8 tons of potatoes, fast food, preserves, pasta, oil, sugar, flour, personal hygiene products and other necessary items.

The Hertsa community purchased and delivered a crossover for the unit of its compatriot Mykola Kuzyryuk to the front-line zone. The defender has been in service almost since the beginning of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. In order to defend the country from the enemy invasion, he returned from France in March, where he had been working for a long time.

In Chernivtsi, the Civilian Preparedness Center of the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation has started its work. Here, everyone who wants to is taught the basics of tactical medicine, shooting, mine-explosive work, and aerial reconnaissance.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In Uzhgorod, they said goodbye to the fallen soldier Ruslan Labanych. The soldier is survived by his father, sister, two children from his first marriage, his wife and 4 children from his second.

38 medical institutions in Zakarpattia were provided with generators in case of emergency power outages. We are talking about maternity hospitals, departments for newborns, surgical, operating and resuscitation departments. Zakarpattia Oblast Military Administration added that the Ministry of Health plans to purchase more than 1,200 generators for the country’s medical facilities. Some of them will be transferred for the needs of hospitals in Zakarpattia.

The “Kharkiv-Zalizobeton” exhibition was opened in Uzhhorod. The screening was made possible by the initiative of the Kharkiv Literary Museum. The concept of the event is to discover Kharkiv through the history of the “Slovo” building.

In Uzhgorod, a festival-contest of creative youth “United by Hope” was held. This was the first time when such an event was held in the city, albeit remotely.
