Ukraine in brief:

The 98th day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion continues.

In the north of Ukraine, the situation remains unchanged. Mobilization exercises with military commissariats in the gomel region of belarus are planned for June-July. The threat of missiles and airstrikes by the enemy from the territory of the republic of belarus remains.

From the territory of the kursk region, the enemy fired artillery at units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of the settlements of Bilopillia and Stukalivka in the Sumy Oblast.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on holding the occupied lines and holding back the advance of Ukrainian troops. To reduce the offensive potential of Ukrainian troops, the enemy fires at the AFU positions with tube and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Ruski Tyshky, Zolochiv, and Derhachi.

In the Sloviansk sector, russian occupation troops fired artillery at our units in the areas of Sviatohirsk and Ridne. Russians led the offensive in the direction of Dovhenke and Dibrivne, suffered losses, and withdrew.

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy launched airstrikes with operational and tactical aircraft in the areas of Avdiivka, New York, Novoselivka, and Shcherbaky and used army aviation to bombard the territories near the settlements of Roty, Pokrovske, and Novoselivka. In the Severodonetsk sector, the enemy is conducting assault operations in Severodonetsk, has partial success, and has established control over the city’s eastern part. In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy is storming the village of Komyshuvakha without any success, though. The occupiers did not conduct active hostilities in the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia areas.

In the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy continues to take measures to restrict the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens, restrict movement, carry out filtration measures, and aggravate the humanitarian crisis in these territories. Russian service members rob civilians.

The invaders blocked the local population’s access to Ukrainian mobile operators and the Internet almost throughout the entire temporarily occupied territory.

Today Ukraine celebrates International Children’s Day. As a result of russian aggression, excluding Volnovakha and Mariupol, 243 children were killed, 446 children were injured, 180 000 children were illegally deported, and millions of children and their parents left their homes in search of safer locations in Ukraine and abroad. The AUI “Active Community” has recorded a video where children talk about what they dream of after the victory.
