Northern Oblast

Kyiv

Over the weekend, the Kyiv police inspected 627 food establishments and drew up 16 administrative reports on curfew violators and handed out 79 summonses.

Kyiv provided all district evacuation commissions with iodine preparations. These commissions are responsible for planning, preparing, organizing and, if necessary, conducting evacuations in their areas. In the event of the need for evacuation, potassium iodide is issued to the population that has fallen into the contaminated zone at evacuation points, in accordance with the recommendations of doctors.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Volodymyr Maletsky from Zhytomyr returned to the shield. He died defending the eastern borders of Ukraine from the invaders. Glory to the Hero.

In September, the “Zhytomyr Kalinky” volunteer center began sewing warm fleece items for the military: mittens, hats, and sweaters. The center also produces medicine bags, plate carriers, camouflage suits and other items for the Armed Forces.

In Zhytomyr, the House of Ukrainian Culture opened an exhibition of the painting “What I Can” by 12-year-old Ulyana Malafiychuk on October 3. This is the first personal exhibition of the young artist, which also has a charitable purpose.

The girl decided to sell all her paintings when she learned that her brother’s unit needed night vision devices. Ulyana’s brother is a military paramedic in a volunteer battalion.

Chernihiv Oblast

The Rokada Charitable Foundation plans to restore up to 500 houses in Chernihiv. Currently, teams of contractors from the “Rokada” charitable foundation are working in one of the most damaged neighborhoods – Bobrovytsa. unlimited Bobrovytsia, will also work on Podusivtka.

Chernihiv received two buses from the Polish partner city of Rzeszów. If there is really their registration, maintenance, after which they will go on their route.

From the end of August, about 80% of the population left Kamianska Sloboda, which is near the Ukrainian-russian border, due to military operations.

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday evening, the occupiers launched a rocket attack on a medical facility in the Kupyansk Raion. An anesthesiologist was killed, two nurses were injured. The building is almost completely destroyed from the 1st to the 4th floor.

After midnight, a russian missile hit an enterprise in the Kholodnohirsk Raion. A fire broke out.

A rocket attack damaged critical infrastructure in the Novobavarsk Raion. The explosion destroyed a production and warehouse building, in which a fire broke out in an area of ​​600 square meters. Rescuers localized the consequences.

The Southern Railway traction substation and transformers were damaged, and the two-story technical building was destroyed. A 46-year-old woman died.

In the de-occupied village of Pisky-Radkivski, Kharkiv Oblast, the police found a room where the russian occupiers tortured people. People were intimidated, beaten and abused. The russian occupiers left looted houses, dirt and filth behind.

The National Police of Ukraine showed what the liberated village of Kamyanka of the Izyum Raion looks like, where fierce fighting has been going on since the first days of the full-scale invasion. In one of the basements, among the belongings, they found the bodies of villagers killed by the russians.

After the deoccupation, mobile communications and the Internet were returned to individual towns and villages of Balakliya, Vovchansk, Izyum, Lypetsk, Shevchenkove, Vilkhuvate and Velikoburlutska communities. The other day, mobile communications and the Internet were restored in Kupyansk, in the villages of Malakhove, Mykhailivka and Yuryivka, Gogine and the village of Prykolotne.

During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 473 explosive objects. Yesterday, two men were injured in an explosion in the Kupyansk Raion.

Donetsk Oblast 

Over the past day, the occupiers have launched 3 missiles and 12 air strikes, launched more than 100 attacks from rocket salvo systems. As a result, 34 residential buildings, a school, a construction base, a filter station, and a cultural center were destroyed and damaged.

The occupiers destroyed the 150-meter-high TV tower in Komyshuvakha, from which broadcasting began more than a year ago, on August 22. The tower broadcasted the signal of Ukrainian TV channels within a radius of 50 kilometers to the occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts.

On October 3, the russians killed one civilian of Donetsk Oblast – in Krasnohorivka. Two more people were injured. And in general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 918 civilians of Donetsk Oblast have become victims of the aggressor, and another 2,314 have been injured. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovas is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk 

On the night of October 4, the russian military shelled the private sector of Kramatorsk. Schools and houses were damaged. Two people were injured. 

The bus connection between Kramatorsk and Mykolaivka is being restored. From now on, residents of the community will be able to get to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

Parents of one of the Kramatorsk gymnasiums donated the class fund to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nataliya Mishchenko, class teacher of the 10-B Kramatorsk Ukrainian gymnasium, told about this on social networks. Transferring 4,000 hryvnias to volunteers who deliver humanitarian goods to the military was unanimously accepted in the parent chat. “God, what a blessing to have such parents and teach their children! Thank you, God, for that!” – commented the teacher.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

During the last day, the enemy struck in the direction of such settlements of Pokrovsk Raion as Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novoukrayinka, Novomykhailivka. No damage or destruction was recorded.

On the Day of the Territorial Defense units of Ukraine, soldiers of the Pokrovsk Territorial Defense units, servicemen of military unit A7037 and members of the “Pokrovsk-1” volunteer formation were awarded medals “For dignity and patriotism” and medals “For the defense of the native state”.

“Hand over russian-language literature – support the Armed Forces of Ukraine”: Pokrovsk librarians started an open-ended campaign. They call on citizens to bring books written in the language of the occupier to the library. They will be handed over for waste paper, and the proceeds will be used to purchase equipment for the military.

Indifference saves lives: there are more and more animals in the shelter of the Myrnograd community of Pokrovsk Raion. According to the volunteers, six months ago there were 126 dogs in the shelter, now there are 172, 40 cats were cared for, and today there are 86. Because of the war, many animals have lost their owners and homes. Caring people bring them to the shelter. Charitable organizations help keep the animals, but there is an urgent need for medicines and building materials for the construction of new enclosures.

Mariupol

The mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, discussed with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Ukraine the issue of providing temporary housing for the residents of Mariupol. He introduced Etienne de Ponsin to the project of reconstruction of dormitories for temporary social housing for Mariupol residents. Vadym Boychenko emphasized that the issue of housing is particularly acute, because residents had to leave their hometown due to the occupation. Currently, the Mariupol City Council is actively working in this direction with the state and international partners.

Yevhen Solntsev, the so-called deputy head of the “DPR” government, admitted that it will not be possible to restore the boiler house in the city. He called mobile boiler houses, four of which have already been brought to the city, as a solution to the problem. But mobile boiler rooms can work only in those houses where there are no problems with the network. There are almost no such houses in Mariupol. After all, 90% of all high-rise buildings were damaged in one way or another by the occupiers as a result of shelling.

Occupiers show the recovery of life in a few areas, but hide what most of the city looks like. Mountains of garbage and destroyed buildings.

Luhansk Oblast

Russian troops mine the territory of the Luhansk Oblast: access roads, bridges, administrative buildings and landmark buildings.

The occupiers are taking out the people who were in the Svativ psychiatric hospital in order to make it a place of defense. The hospital has a good network of underground rooms.

Southern Oblasts 

Kherson Oblast 

Russian military shelled Khreschenivka, Osokorivka and Novovorontsovka with heavy artillery. Residential buildings and power grids were damaged. It is reported about the dead and wounded among local residents. 

In Kherson oblast, Skadovsk district, russians beat a man for his pro-Ukrainian position, and took his wife in an unknown direction. After that, the couple’s house was blown up. 

The occupation authorities of Kherson oblast announced that they will ban circulation of hryvnia by the end of this year. Today it is still possible to pay for goods in a shops with a Ukrainian bank card, but there are fewer and fewer such shops. It is almost impossible to exchange money from the card to cash.

Russian military continue to carry out mobilization activities. They make door-to-door visits and compile lists of men of military age.

In Skadovsk, representatives of the occupation authorities seized the buildings and property of the children’s recreation complex. The premises were turned into housing for the russian military.

The exit from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast remains virtually blocked. On October 3, only 32 people left the territory. In total, 51 people have left over the past three days.

The situation in Kherson is difficult – the russian military is looking for Ukrainian patriots to kill, according to “Yellow Ribbon”. However, members of the civil movement continue to mark buildings with the russian military and their henchmen with the letter “Ї”, draw pro-Ukrainian graffiti and paste leaflets. 

Mykolaiv Oblast

Last night the enemy struck at the water area of Ochakiv. There were no casualties. 

The villages of Berezneguvata community located on the front line remain under constant enemy fire. Last night, during the shelling of Berezneguvate, trade facilities and administrative buildings were damaged. 

Yesterday and today the village of Novooleksandrivka of Ingul community was shelled by russians. Information about the victims and destructions is being clarified.

Yesterday enemy shelling of Shyroke village was recorded. There were no casualties or destruction.

Odesa Oblast

The enemy tried to attack Odesa with a kamikaze drone of “Shahed-136” type. Air defense forces destroyed the unmanned aerial vehicle over the sea.

The nomination dossier of Odesa for inclusion in the main UNESCO World Heritage List has been submitted to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. Soon it will be delivered to Paris. “UNESCO’s protection is an umbrella over Odesa, which will protect it,” said Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko.

Central Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of October 4, russian troops attacked Nikopol and Synelnykovo raions of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Four men were wounded in Nikopol, two of them are in hospital. In one of the five-storey buildings 4 apartments were destroyed. There are destructions in 13 apartment buildings and 29 detached houses. 3 cars, 8 outbuildings were damaged. The city was left without water supply due to damage to the water utility pumping station. More than 7 thousand families were without electricity supply. A school, a pharmacy, an industrial enterprise, administrative buildings, a grain elevator, shops, a studio and a hairdresser were damaged.

In the afternoon, the occupants shelled Nikopol with cannon artillery. The ferry burned down there.

Warehouses of an agricultural enterprise caught fire in Synelnykovo raion due to shelling.

A 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of Tochka-U missile strike on Maryanske.

Air defense forces shot down an enemy missile in Kryvyi Rih raion.

A 43-year-old grenade launcher operator Volodymyr Halytskyi from the city of Apostolove was killed. In addition, 37-year-old Yevhen Martynenko from Nikopol raion and 25-year-old Dmytro Saveliev from Kryvyi Rih received non-life-threatening injuries.

Artists from Dnipro made a wall in memory of Denys “Skipper” Kotenko at the home of the defender’s parents. He died during the liberation of Kyiv oblast from russian invaders. Before that, he was the head of the regional organization of the National Corps party.

Online voting on renaming streets, alleys and passages of the city in connection with de-russification has started in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. More than 60 streets, alleys and passages were selected for renaming. Several options of new names are offered for each object. 

Kirovohrad Oblast

Today, Captain Viacheslav Hordyna was laid to rest in Kropyvnytskyi. Relatives, friends, compatriots and combat sworn brothers came to say goodbye to the 38-year-old deputy commander of communications company, who heroically perished on August 14 near Pisky village, Donetsk oblast. Eternal rest to the Hero.

The simplest shelter was built in Kropyvnytskyi near one of the public transport stops. According to the project of rapidly constructed protective structures of civil protection, it was built from special reinforced concrete structures in a short period of time. The shelter has benches for 15 people and lighting. It has two exits. 

Poltava oblast

Poltava community said goodbye to its Heroes. Oleksandr Kozel from Hlobyne, Maksym Zapichnyi and Pavlo Kyrylenko from Poltava, Vladyslav Lytvyn from Zavodske, Myrhorod raion, Ihor Starkov from Novoselivka, Kremenchuk raion were killed in the battles for the territorial integrity of Ukraine. 

Serhii Volynskyi, call sign “Volyna”, from Poltava oblast was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

The awarding ceremony of the acting commander of the 36th separate marine brigade took place yesterday, during a meeting of the warriors with their families.  

Poltava oblast law enforcers detained a collaborator. The woman was the chief state inspector of Kupiansk tax office. During the occupation of the city, she helped the occupants to collect tribute from the local population, which the occupants called “taxes”. It was with her help that the invaders registered local entrepreneurs and forced them to pay money for business permits.

An action in support of the captured and missing soldiers was organized in Poltava. Two dozen relatives, friends and acquaintances of the servicemen who defended Mariupol and were taken prisoner asked for their exchange.

According to the statistics of the Poltava Oblast Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the prevalence of heart infections in Poltava Oblast is stable. The number of new cases of the disease decreased by 87% in a week. If in the week before last, 372 crimes were recorded, then in the past – 47. Because of this, the city council is not considering the possibility of introducing additional anti-epidemic measures, such as a mandatory mask regime now.

The team of “Active Community” joined the sorting of humanitarian aid. Clothes and shoes provided by local residents and charitable organizations are sorted by volunteers in the Assumption Cathedral. Warm clothes are being prepared for military personnel and internally displaced persons in Poltava Oblast.

 

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

Another 145 people arrived in Lviv on two evacuation trains. 552 people went to Przemysl from Lviv Oblast by four trains. 17 thousand 516 people left through checkpoints in the Oblast. 19 thousand 749 ukrainians applied for entry.

In the Chervonohrad raion, in several dormitories, the vocational association of the raion have already fully equipped additional places for the comfortable living of displaced persons. Reconstruction is taking place within the program of implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the Lviv Oblast. More than 19 million hryvnias were allocated from the Oblast`s budget to finance the program. The total cost of works in the Lviv Oblast is 47 million hryvnias. It is expected to equip 400 places for resettled people to live.

6 generators and 2 quadcopters for the Armed Forces were handed over by the Drogobych community. This became possible thanks to the cooperation of the raion administration with Lviv Customs and the KOLO Charitable Foundation. The valuable cargo has already been delivered to one of the military units.

According to the results of the first month of the educational process, 706 out of 1,112 schools in Lviv Oblast study in full-time, and 394 have a mixed format. The rest is studying remotely.

Rivne Oblast

In the Zarichne community, the fallen defender Yevhenii Voytovych was taken to the funeral procession. He was 22 years old. The guy was a border guard, defending Mariupol. Eternal memory of the Hero.

Rivne explosive technicians continue demining the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv Oblast. 650 kilograms of explosives were found under one object. Since the middle of September, experts-explosive technicians of the Rivne Oblast, as part of a joint detachment, have been liberating the de-occupied Ukrainian lands from russian shells and mines. The other day, they prevented the destruction of a dam, the explosion of which could have caused the flooding of villages and towns in the Kharkiv Oblast.

More than 44 thousand hryvnias were collected at the fair by the students of the Dubrovytsya Lyceum. Students and teachers held a charity fair. They sold their own baked goods, sweets, and jewelry. Funds were collected for military equipment for a physical education teacher who is currently serving in the Armed Forces. Also, almost every student of the lyceum made a trench candle. So 400 candles are ready to trip. They will be handed over to the volunteer center, and there they will be delivered to our soldiers at the front.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The first meeting of the working group on promoting the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons took place in Khmelnytskyi OMA. Among its tasks is the constant updating of the existing register of housing for displaced persons; accounting for the availability of premises in communities, on the basis of which it will be possible to organize centers for compact residence of displaced persons; as well as the development of another register, which will summarize information about donor organizations that are ready to finance the construction of housing for displaced persons.

Materials for making trench candles are collected in Khmelnytskyi. Specialists of the office “Smart environment. Khmelnytskyi” decided to make trench candles, which will be transferred to the front line through volunteers. Containers for collecting cans for making trench candles are placed in ten locations of the city. Paraffin, wax, candle ends and cardboard boxes are also waiting at the Waste Management Center and Ecobus.

The city territorial center of social services received help from charitable foundations of Poland and Lithuania. This allowed the employees of the tercenter to form 1,200 food sets. In total, since the beginning of the year, 15,000 residents of the Khmelnytskyi community have received a free food package. It is given to those people who are in need.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

The curfew has been changed in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. From now on, it lasts from 00:00 to 05:00.

The “Turbota” center received more than 300 kg of washing powder, detergents and personal hygiene items. Today, 70 internally displaced persons of respectable age live here 24 hours a day. Humanitarian aid was provided by charitable organizations.

The Children’s Service and the Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth each received two computers for the work of specialists. The assistance was provided within the project “Monitoring the needs and support of children in conditions of war” with the support of UNICEF Ukraine.

Chernivtsi Oblast

The Bukovyna battalion of territorial defense captured a russian soldier while carrying out combat missions. They also managed to seize several units of military equipment. 

Taisiya Tataryn, a 22-year-old patrolman and junior police lieutenant, died in Chernivtsi while on duty. The crew of Taisia ​​Tataryn and Oleksandr Hutsul arrived on a call about the molestation of minors. The patrolmen searched for the citizen, it turned out that the man had a weapon with him and opened fire on the inspectors. The policewoman received a fatal gunshot wound, her partner was hospitalized.
