Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
Kyiv and Barcelona became sister cities. The mayor of Barcelona, Ada Kolow, emphasized that her city will continue to help and support Kyiv and Ukraine. They also discussed cooperation in the fields of public transport, ecology, smart city and culture with Vitaliy Klitschko.
Kyiv Oblast
The head of Kyiv OMA, Oleksiy Kuleba, handed the keys to new apartments to the families of those who have been defending our country since the first days of russian aggression, and some continue to fight to this day.
Kyiv OMA plans to open an additional temporary crossing across the Irpin River in Gostomel by October 10. This bridge was destroyed in the early days of the full-scale invasion. After the deoccupation, a temporary crossing was opened in May. In August, it can no longer cope with the large flow of cars.
Zhytomyr Oblast
In Zhytomyr, forced migrants from the occupied territories held a flash mob in support of a united Ukraine and against the “referendum”. About 20 people who were forced to leave their homes and leave their relatives and friends came out with posters. The protesters also told their own stories of how they left the temporarily occupied territories.
Zhytomyr Oblast joined the Memorandum between the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the United Nations Development Program. Thus, teamwork on creating a digital database of destroyed objects begins.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, simultaneously, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., the russians shelled two communities of Chernihiv Oblast — Snovsk and Semenivka. The community of Snovsk was subjected to mortar fire, 24 explosions of mines of 82 mm caliber were recorded. The enemy fired mortars of 120 mm caliber on the territory of the Semenivka community. Border guards counted 37 “arrivals”.
Another video of a russian airstrike on high-rise buildings on Chornovola Street in Chernihiv on March 3 appeared online.
Sumy Oblast
During yesterday’s day, the russians shelled Esman, Shalygyne and Seredyna-Buda communities of the Sumy Oblast.
Yesterday in Sumy Oblast, citizens said goodbye to the combat medic of the platoon Oleksandr Dohlenko.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
During the past day, the russian occupiers continued shelling the civilian population of the Kupyansk, Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv, Chuguyiv and Krasnograd raions of the Kharkiv Oblast.
In the village of Dvorichna, Kupyansk raion, an educational institution was damaged and caught on fire as a result of the shelling. In the Chuguyiv raion, the infrastructure of an agro-industrial enterprise was damaged.
In the Krasnograd raion, locals heard an explosion outside the population centers. Our air defenses worked without casualties or damage.
During the day, 7 people were hospitalized with injuries in the Kupyansk raion. A 49-year-old man was injured by a landmine in the Kharkiv raion.
Pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service during the day examined almost 26 hectares of the territory of the Oblast and neutralized 748 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast
That night, the russians hit civilian objects along the entire front line from Velika Novosilka to Sviatohirsk. Late in the evening, the enemy again hit the Krasnohorivka pivotal school – a fire broke out there. At night, another shelling of the city took place – 1 person was injured. Shelling was also recorded on the territory of the community in Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Katerynivka – without casualties.
On September 24, the russians killed two civilians of Donetsk Oblast – in Bakhmut. Another 8 people were injured. In total, since February 24, 884 civilians of Donetsk Oblast have been killed by the russian military, and another 2,233 have been injured. The number of dead in Mariupol and Volnovaha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk
The enemy continues shelling from tanks, mortars and tube artillery in the Kramatorsk direction – Sloviansk, Korovii Yar, Bogorodichne, Yarova and Ozerne. As a result, in the Kramatorsk district, the Sviatohirsk community was the most affected. In Sviatohirsk, a projectile hit a multi-story building, injuring 6 people. Also, 2 private houses were damaged in Khrestishche – there were no victims.
And today the enemy launched a rocket attack on Kramatorsk. Two hits were recorded. Houses were damaged. No casualties have been reported yet. Investigations are ongoing.
Volunteers of the international organization “Team Humanity” continue to evacuate residents of Kramatorsk to Germany. Upon arrival in this country, people are provided with a place to live, food, all necessary documents and social benefits are issued.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
Avdiivka, Vodyane, Maryinka and Paraskoviivka were under enemy fire in the Avdiivka direction. As a result, the Maryinka and Avdiivka communities came under fire.
At night there were isolated airstrikes over the old and central parts of Avdiivka, in the morning there was a massive shelling of the city center. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Opytne, Yakovlivka, Nelipovka, Yuryivka, Bilogorivka, Rozdolivka during the last day.
On September 24, as a result of shelling by the occupiers, two people died in Bakhmut. At least 8 more residents of Donetsk Oblast were injured. In the Bakhmut raion, the russians fired cluster bombs at the Chasiv Yar community – no information was received about the victims.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion
In the Velikonovosilkivka community of the Volnovakha raion, russians hit Andriivka with an ZRS S-300PS , three houses and a local school were damaged; no injuries were reported.
Mariupol
The occupiers continue forcing people to “vote” without following legal procedures. Tables for “voting” are simply placed in yards and squares. According to residents, there are no ballots in some places. People simply write their last names on white sheets. So that everyone leaves the “correct” answer, there is military personnel everywhere with weapons.
Luhansk Oblast
The so-called “referendum” in the occupied Luhansk region gives the occupiers a reason to enter the apartment and check it for the presence of men who can be conscripted.
Southern Oblasts
Zaporizhzhia oblast
At night, around 00:30, russian invaders attacked massively with missiles in the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia raion. Enemy missile strikes were recorded at once in several districts of the city and a village near the Zaporizhzhia oblast center in the Shyrokiv community. The infrastructure sites were destroyed. In one of the districts, a power substation was cut off. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in the workshop of one of the enterprises of Zaporizhzhia. The area of the fire was 200 square meters. The rescuers, who arrived at the scene, promptly extinguished the fire.
The windows and roofs were damaged in apartment buildings and detached houses. The educational institutions and a hospital were also damaged. The communal services deal with the elimination of the repercussions of missile strikes. Information about the casualties is being specified. Currently, it is known about three wounded people.
During the night attack, three missiles hit the territory of the Shyrokiv community (Zaporizhzhia raion). There are no injured people. Several buildings were destroyed.
Over the past day, the occupiers shelled 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia oblast. 46 reports were received about the destruction of the civil infrastructure sites as a result of shelling – in Zaporizhzhia, Vasylivka, and Pology raions. There are injured people. Information about them is being specified.
In the village of Ivanivka, a detached house, a restaurant, and several other sites were damaged as a result of a missile attack.
Loud explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Melitopol and Berdyansk. In Tokmak, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one of the enemy’s ammunition depots.
During the past day, the evacuation of the civilian population from the temporarily occupied areas was carried out. 1,122 people were evacuated, including 230 children.
On September 24, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service discovered a fragment of an “Iskander” rocket, 7 units of safe remnants from the rockets of the “Grad” reactive salvo fire systems in the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia oblast. All discovered explosive objects were eliminated.
Today in Zaporizhzhia, the campaign that has gone under the slogan: “Freedom to the Mariupol Garrison” was held in order to support the defenders of Mariupol, who are still in captivity.
In the Zaporizhzhia oblast, the occupiers were informed that the term of the contract is irrelevant, and the time spent in the combat zone depends on the decision of the command. In addition, partial mobilization is called the reason for the delay of vacations and cash payments, which leads to a significant deterioration of the morale and psychological state of the russian army.
Kherson Oblast
On Sunday, September 25, around 3:00 p.m., the air defense forces of the Southern Air Command hit the Shahed-136 kamikaze drone, which was used by the russian occupation forces to attack Mykolaiv.
Тhe collaborator, and former deputy, Oleksiy Zhuravko died in Kherson.
His death was confirmed by the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi.
In the Kherson oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle, the russian ammunition depots, the location of the russian guard in Kherson, and one of the russian strongholds in the Davydov Brod raion. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine strengthened fire control in the area of the Kakhovskaya HPP, where russians are trying to establish crossings.
The activists of the “Yellow Ribbon” movement continue their struggle against the russian occupiers. They paint graffiti and distribute leaflets and thank all Kherson citizens who are boycotting the “referendum”. 
Mykolayiv Oblast
At night, the russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv with missiles. As a result, the residential buildings were damaged. There is also a hit in the water supply network.
From 01:20 at night, russian army attacked with missiles in the coastal area of the city of Ochakiv, in the Ochakiv community.
The Berezneguvate community is being under shelling. Yesterday, russians shelled the Berezneguvate station. The village of Vysun and the outskirts of the village of Lepetiha were under enemy fire.
Yesterday, around 15:00, russian army shelled the village of Shyroke in the Shyroke community. Two detached houses and non-residential outbuildings were damaged. There were also hits in gardens. On the night of September 25, russian shelling was being outside the settlement.
Odesa Oblast
Odesa was again attacked by enemy kamikaze drones. The enemy hit the administrative building in the city center three times. The rescue operation and fire extinguishing are ongoing. One drone was shot down by air defense forces. The houses around the hot spot of the explosion, which were hit by the kamikaze drones, suffered minor damage. Currently, communal services are trying to provide the public transport flow.
A family weekend charity event was held in the Shevchenko Park in Odessa at the Rakushka concert venue. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the purchase of a portable dental office for the Armed Forces. Patriotic songs performed by well-known Odesa musical groups rang out from the stage. The participants of this campaign could also attend the exhibition of retro cars and motorcycles. The organizers of the action are charitable and volunteer organizations of the city with the support of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Odesa City Council and the Municipal Enterprise “Odesa Parks”.
Central Oblasts
Kirovohrad Oblast
In Kirovohrad Oblast, the representatives of the Red Cross Society take care of a hundred people. 20 social workers were involved in the implementation of the “Care at Home” project in the Kirovohrad oblast. One social worker can take care of up to nine people. They buy food and medicine, clean up the apartment, pay bills and support with a kind word.
The 52nd All-Ukrainian Theater Arts Festival “September Gems” is coming to an end in Kirovohrad Oblast. They decided to hold it despite the war. The event was held under the slogan “Muses are not silent.” People’s deputies, farmers of Kirovohrad Oblast, businessmen acted as patrons. As a result, theaters from Mariupol, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kyiv took part in the festival. They gave performances, held creative meetings. Poltava Oblast
Defenders from Poltava Oblast died at the front. 22-year-old soldier Andriy Zaychuk was from Kremenchuk, Ruslan Vlasyuk was from the village of Victoria, in the Pyryatyn Raion, Anatoliy Smirnov from the Velikobudyshchansk community, and Yevgen Brach from the call sign “Mali”, who served 5 years in the French Foreign Legion and returned after the start of a full-scale war to Ukraine.
Poltava’s Department of State Bureau of Investigation detained another traitor in Izyum and Vovchansk. The traitor turned out to be a former law enforcement officer from Izyum. He controlled that local patriots did not protest, and together with the occupiers, he hunted down pro-Ukrainian citizens. Another traitor was a Ukrainian law enforcement officer in Vovchansk. He ran the headquarters in a pseudo-police station, patrolled the city and regularly reported to his supervisors about the situation in Vovchansk.
Since September 23, pyrotechnicians of Poltava Oblast have been working on demining the territories of Donetsk Oblast. Five pyrotechnicians have already arrived at their destination. They will demine populated areas, infrastructure facilities and the territory of Donetsk Oblast from explosive objects. They will work in places where battles were fought.
Poltava Oblast received 1,700 kg of humanitarian cargo for displaced persons. These are hygiene products, diapers, antiseptics, cereals, drinking water, masks, as well as animal feed. All this was delivered by benefactors, the chairman of the board of the “Mercy and Health” association and a people’s deputy. They, returning from Donetsk Oblast, where they were taking necessary things for the military, stopped by Poltava.
The team of “Active Community” of Poltava transferred funds for the need for propane guns for pilots from Poltava Oblast. 20,000 hryvnias have already been collected by volunteers, 4,000 hryvnias remain, and it will be possible to pay for the orders of the military.
Expanding women’s employment opportunities at enterprises in the field of light industry, prospects of the Employment Center, creating conditions for social integration – these and other topics were discussed in Poltava during a thematic round table. It was organized by the Gorenia Charitable Foundation. It is expected that thanks to the implementation of the project, it will be possible to employ women from vulnerable population groups.
Seven communities of Poltava Oblast have created street renaming commissions. They will be engaged in cleaning the public space from names that promote or symbolize the Soviet Union or russia. The following commissions were created: 4 communities in Myrhorod Raion; 2 – in Poltava; 1 – in Kremenchutsk.
Western Oblasts
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
Lubomyr Bordun, who was a deputy of the Kolomyia City Council for two convocations and the head of the education department, died in the battle with the occupiers. A servicewoman from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast with the call sign “Kvitka” also died in the war. She lived in Italy for the last 14 years, and when the russian invasion of Ukraine began, she returned to defend the Motherland.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Center for Disease Control and Prevention received a vehicle for transporting vaccines. This became possible thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Such transport will allow timely delivery of vaccines to the most remote health care facilities within the Oblast.
Rivne Oblast
In the city of Dubno, they said goodbye to defender Roman Lesny. While performing a combat mission, a senior soldier came under artillery fire in the Bila Hora Raion of Donetsk Oblast.
Children of the Rivne community, whose parents protect Ukraine, will be fed free of charge in educational institutions. The corresponding decision was taken at a meeting of the Rivne Executive Committee. Today, there are 1,277 such children in Rivne: 298 are preschoolers, 979 are students of general secondary education institutions.
Khmelnytskiy Oblast
In Khmelnytskyi, they met the legendary dog Patron. He came to the opening of his own mural. Now the image of a sapper dog is on the facade of building No. 64 on Hrushevsky Street. Representatives of the public organization “Ukrainians of the Future” created the mural.
Patron’s visit also has an educational purpose. Near the Children’s World shopping center, rescuers held an event for young residents of Khmelnytskyi where they explained the rules of behavior with dangerous objects, demonstrated various types of explosive objects, distributed leaflets and organized themed entertainment for the youngest.
The orchestra of the main administration of the Khmelnytskyi National Police organized a charity concert in the open air. The group performed a dozen works for the citizens and forced migrants. During the event, funds were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces.
Andriy Zhurba and Serhiy Prysiazhniy, frontmen of local bands, performed on the platform near “Children’s World”. At the event, funds were collected for military vehicles for our defenders.
The cycling marathon “Podilska Sotka 2022” started in Khmelnytskyi. This is the sixth 100-kilometer marathon since its inception. 111 people took part in it. Thanks to the registration fees, it was possible to collect 20 thousand hryvnias. These funds will be transferred to the account of “Volunteers of Podillia” for the purchase of cars for the military.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
Today, the Kamianets-Podilskyi community celebrated Afterschool Day. On the holiday “Tourist extracurricular”, the leaders of the groups of the tourism and local history department presented various directions of tourism through interesting master classes. The children learned climbing skills, tried the “Square” sports orientation, overcame an obstacle course and worked with a compass. And the day before, the city-wide charity fair “Together to Victory!” was held in the community kindergartens. The participants collected 118 thousand 524 hryvnias, which will be used to support the Armed Forces.
Zakarpattia Oblast
In Zakarpattia, border guards detained eight people from the Kharkiv Oblast who wanted to cross the border illegally. One of the men had a life jacket with him and planned to swim down the Tisza River. And three men and a woman tried to cross the border through the mountains.
The real winter has already arrived. In the snow-covered Carpathians, the frost persists. According to the information from the Chornohirsk mountain search and rescue post, the air temperature in the Carpathian highlands is -1°С.
In Zakarpattia, lovers of “quiet hunting” continue to find mushrooms of record sizes. Local residents share photos of their finds on social networks. So, a mushroom weighing 1.9 kg grew in the forest near Nizhny Koropets. Previously, a photo of a giant mushroom was published by a resident of the village of Lopukhovo in Tyachiv Raion. It weighed 4.8 kg.
