About us: The “Active Community” initiative was launched by activists of the “Republika” Institute after the Euromaidan (2014), which focused on the activation and involvement of Ukrainians in the decision-making process. Northern oblasts

Kyiv

In Kyiv, local activists wrote “Dismantle me at last” on the monument to Shchors.

Yesterday in Kyiv, the House of Cinema hosted the premiere screening of the feature-documentary film “Hostomel. The story of one house”. The story is real and was filmed during the russian occupation of Hostomel. Actors are real tenants of the house.

Kyiv Oblast

Monuments to heroes of the Soviet Union were demolished in Boryspil.

The Irpin Restoration Fund presented its second video story from a series of short films about the private houses of Irpin families, Which were destroyed as a result of russian aggression.

Bohuslav

A loss for the Bohuslav Raion: 45-year-old junior sergeant Ruslan Romanenko from Mysaylivka was killed in action. He came under enemy shelling near the settlement of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast. At the front, the man was a medic of a mechanized platoon. Eternal memory to the Hero!

In Bohuslav, an art therapy master class “The Word in Ornament” was held. It was conducted by the coordinator of the “Active Community” Anastasia Rashchenko. The participants made individual amulets, where each pattern contained the initials or the name of the author of the handmade product. According to the organizer, such classes have a therapeutic effect, help to distract and relieve emotional stress.

Chernihiv Oblast

As a result of hostilities in the Chernihiv Oblast, 133 educational institutions were damaged. The estimated amount of damage is 14 billion hryvnias. To date, 20 schools and 14 kindergartens have already been repaired.

Near Chernihiv, preparations of the modular town “Novoselivka-2” for the settlement by residents are being completed.

Sumy Oblast

The day in the Sumy Oblast passed without shelling.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

During the day, the occupiers shelled the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Izium, Kharkiv, and Bohodukhiv raions.

In the Chuhuiv Raion, in the village of Zaliznychne, a fire broke out at one of the agricultural enterprises due to shelling. No casualties.

Today, the occupiers launched a missile attack on a civilian infrastructure facility in Pervomaiske. In addition, critical infrastructure was damaged and 2 private houses were completely destroyed. A 15-year-old girl was killed.

Another torture chamber of the occupiers was found in the de-occupied village of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv Oblast. The russian occupiers set up a torture chamber in the basement of the premises where the “people’s militia of the LPR” settled. In the basement, the invaders held in detention those local residents who supported Ukraine and refused to cooperate with the occupiers.

The occupiers subjected the prisoners to brutal torture, after which they were forcibly taken to the territory of Russia.

Today, power supply was resumed in Balaklia, liberated from the russian invaders. So far, about 11,000 citizens have got electricity. This is more than 77% of the residents of Balaklia. Power supply to the city hospital, the central boiler house, 3 schools, a polyclinic, treatment facilities, and water intake infrastructure has also been restored.

The monument to the russian writer Alexander Pushkin, standing in the center of Kharkiv, was doused with red paint.

The units of pyrotechnicians of the consolidated detachments of the State Emergency Service continue to work on demining. Over the past day, they inspected 26 hectares of territories and deactivated 1,083 explosive items.

Donetsk Oblast

The situation in the Donetsk Oblast remains tense. At night, the russians fired intensively in the Donetsk and Horlivka sectors.

On September 25, the russians killed 3 civilians in the oblast: two in Avdiivka and one in Bakhmut. Another 11 people were wounded.

In total, since February 24, the russians have killed 887 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast and wounded another 2,244. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha remains unknown yet.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Last night Kramatorsk was hit by two S-300 missiles. A hospital and apartment buildings were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In the afternoon, a missile hit Sloviansk in the area of the railway station. No information about casualties has been received yet. 

In Sloviansk, a monument to Lenin, which was dismantled in 2015 and then stored for a long time on the territory of a public utility company, is finally sold. The city will receive 747 thousand hryvnias. The money will be used to pay the allowance for housing destroyed by the war with russia.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

The shelling of the Maryinka community does not abate: Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, and Antonivka were under attack. A private house burned down in Krasnohorivka, and several others were damaged. No information about casualties has been received yet.

In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy fired at Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, and Paraskoviivka.

In Avdiivka, during the night, there were sporadic hits in the old part of the city, and by the morning the city’s center was shelled. There were no casualties.

In Pokrovsk, the implementation of the program “Pokrovsk residents for Pokrovsk residents” began. It was introduced by the city authorities in connection with russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, accompanied by shelling and destruction of civilian housing. The program provides for the provision of temporary housing to the affected residents of the Pokrovsk community under the terms of a lease agreement for a period of up to 1 year. Apartments are allocated from the housing stock of the Pokrovsk community. The authorities have 50 such apartments at their disposal. To date, 11 families whose houses were damaged by shelling have turned to the contact center of the city council for help.

The head of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Myrnohrad City Council, Serhii Miller, together with the inspector of the juvenile prevention sector of the Pokrovsk Raion Police Department, held an information event with large families living in the territory of the Myrnohrad Territorial Community. Families were provided with consulting and methodological assistance in resolving certain evacuation issues.

The presentation of the exhibition “About us” took place in Pokrovsk. It presents photographs and publications associated with the past and present of the city, as well as the stories of both famous and ordinary residents of Pokrovsk. During the event, the attendees received souvenirs, listened to the performances by the creative teams of the Pokrovsk community, and collected money to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Bakhmut

In the Bakhmut direction, the settlements of Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Zaytseve, Klishchivka, Vesela Dolyna, Yakovlivka, Mayorsk, Nelipovka, Vyimka and Bilogorivka came under enemy fire.

Intense shelling was recorded in Toretsk: the building of the local hospital was damaged, and a private house was on fire. There are no casualties.

In the Svitlodar community, shelling of Odradivka village and the Mayorsk station continued at night.

There are also no casualties.

Mariupol

In order to avoid “voting”, residents try not to leave their homes or say that they live at a different address. But the occupiers, together with collaborators, continue to go around the apartments to get votes.

The occupiers continue to demolish buildings in Mariupol without warning. They simply kicked people out and started demolition.

Luhansk Oblast

During a door-to-door round, committee members take away the “referendum” ballot after a person has voted and look at it. The occupiers are deliberately spreading rumors that people who voted “against” [joining russia] are being taken to an unknown destination. In this way, the population is intimidated.

The hospitals of occupied Luhansk are filled with occupiers. Therefore, civilian residents of the city can receive treatment only in emergency cases where surgical intervention is required.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

On the night of September 25 to 26, the russian military again launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia and a village in the Zaporizhzhia Raion.

According to preliminary information, there are no victims. A hit on the garage cooperative was recorded. Five garages were completely destroyed, three cars and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers and relevant services.

In total, more than 150 multi-apartment and private buildings were damaged by rocket attacks in Zaporizhzhia during the last week.

In addition, about 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast came under fire. The damage was recorded in Polohy Raion.

On September 25-26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked in the Blagovishchenka area (Energodar direction). As a result, the russian artillery installation “D-30” (two units), a car with ammunition and personnel were destroyed. Also, in the Kamianka-Dniprovska area, a firing position and a “Grad” multiple launch rocket system were eliminated.

The IAEA has started negotiations on the creation of a nuclear safety zone around the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Director of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, reported on the meeting with the United States Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, Bonnie Jenkins.

Kherson Oblast

To participate in the pseudo-referendum and to to create a show-off crowd, the russians bring people from Crimea to the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast.

In Kakhovka (Kherson Oblast), representatives of the occupation authorities go around homes and persistently urge residents to vote in a pseudo-referendum. For the “correct” mark in the “ballot”, the occupiers give a monetary reward.

In Kherson, the russian military captured 5 local residents allegedly because they filmed the consequences of an explosion in the city center. Three men were kidnapped in Oleshky and Nova Kakhovka. The location of the abducted is unknown.

In the Kherson Oblast, the occupation authorities began serving mobilization summonses to men of military age who renounced Ukrainian citizenship and received russian passports. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The police identified more than 150 collaborators who cooperated with the occupation authorities and contributed to the holding of the pseudo-referendum on joining russia in the territory of the Kherson Oblast.

A russian sabotage and reconnaissance group stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Arkhangelske (Beryslav Raion, Kherson Oblast). The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attack, the sabotage and reconnaissance group suffered losses and retreated.

Ukrainian aviators made 9 strikes against positions of russian forces in the south. Rocket-artillery units hit areas of concentration of weapons and equipment in the Beryslav Raion, strengthened control over the Antonivskyi Bridge and destroyed an alternative crossing in the Nova Kakhovka area.

Mykolaiv Oblast

In the morning, the russians shelled Mykolaiv again. They hit an industrial zone on the outskirts of the city.

Today, from 04:50, the enemy attacked the town of Ochakiv (Ochakiv community).

At night, the village of Khrystoforivka (Bashtanka community) came under enemy fire. As a result, more than 15 houses and a school were damaged.

Yesterday evening, the invaders shelled the village of Berezneguvate (Berezneguvate community). Also yesterday, russian shelling was recorded in the village of Shyroke (Shyroke community), as a result one two-story residential building and an agricultural enterprise were damaged. In the morning, enemy shelling was also outside the settlement.

Odesa Oblast

At night, the russians attacked the Odesa Oblast with kamikaze drones. One drone was destroyed by Air defense forces. Two drones hit a military infrastructure facility. There was a large-scale fire and the detonation of ammunition. The evacuation of the civilian population was organized. Previously, there were no casualties or injuries. Firefighting and rescue operations are ongoing.

On the evening of September 25, troops of the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade shot down a russian Su-25 attack aircraft. To rescue the russian pilot, the occupiers sent a Mi-8 helicopter with a team on board. It was also successfully destroyed by anti-aircraft guns of the Odesa brigade in the Berislav Raion (Kherson Oblast).  

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

All night, the russian occupation army shelled the Nikopol Raion. 9 times the enemy has shelled the Nikopol, Marganets, Chervonohrihorivka and Myrove communities. In total, the enemy fired almost 130 rockets and shells from MLRS and heavy artillery at the cities and villages of the Nikopol Raion.

Almost 40 private houses were damaged in Nikopol. More than 20 farm buildings were mutilated, 3 were destroyed. 7 cars and 2 motorcycles, 30 solar panels, a transformer substation and power lines were cut by debris. Almost 3,000 families remain without electricity.

In the Marganets community 9 residential buildings and an industrial facility were damaged. Private houses, shops, a kindergarten, a dispensary, cars, a pharmacy, a club, a stadium, and a gas station were damaged by enemy shells in the Chervonogrihorivka community. Several residential and farm buildings were damaged in the Myrove community.

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has launched more than 4,000 prohibited cluster munitions in the Dnipro Oblast, which are being destroyed by specialists of the State Emergency Service.

In the Kherson Oblast, skytroopers from the Dnipro Oblast shot down one russian Su-30 and one Su-25.

Bohdan Vezha from the city of Dnipro, Artem Savin from the city of Kryvyi Rih, Serhiy Tkachenko from the city of Kamianske, Yevhen Lamza from the Tsarychanska community died at the front. Eternal memory to the Heroes!

The mother of the deceased combat medic, the sergeant Inna Derusova from the city of Kryvyi Rih received the order of the Gold Star, which her daughter was granted posthumously. 52-year-old Inna Derusova died in the Sumy Oblast on February 26 during shelling by russian troops while providing medical aid to the wounded.

A rally was held in the city of Dnipro against the holding of a so-called referendum by russians in the temporarily occupied territories. Internally displaced people,who mostly fled the war in 2014 and 2022, took part in it.

In the city of Kamianske, in the car service station, where sports cars were previously prepared for competitions, cars for the front are now being repaired.

In the city of Dnipro another aid for the military is organized. This time, the city authorities together with the TAPS-Ukraine Charity Fund and the Coordination Headquarters of Dnipro voluntees handed over a large batch of products, energy bars, and underwear to the defenders at the front. Everything was loaded into two cars. The military was also given LED floodlights, electric kettles, batteries, extension cords, and flashlights. Also dozens of packages of dry food, canned goods, energy bars, hygiene products.

A charity fair was held in the city of Dnipro. Children sold toys, crafts and goodies on it. The collected funds are planned to be spent on the purchase of 20 stoves for the Armed Forces.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Knowledge of topography and the ability to navigate the terrain. One of the reconnaissance units of the 121st Territorial Defense Brigade continues to improve its professional skills that help it effectively confront the enemy. Under the leadership of experienced instructors scouts underwent 3-day training, where soldiers were taught to recognize the terrain. In particular, the servicemen practiced the peculiarities of movement and survival in an unfamiliar forest area.

On the City Day of Kropyvnytskyi, internally displaced persons, who decided to stay in it permanently, received official housing. The Deputy Mayor Oleksander Mosin handed over the warrants for apartments to five families. These are families of doctors from Melitopol of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Luhansk, and Rubizhny. All medical workers who received official housing are already working in medical facilities of Kropyvnytskyi.

A charity flea market was held in the city of Kropyvnytskyi, where funds were collected for the needs of the Ukrainian military. As a result of the sale of things that had previously been littering the townspeople’s houses, more than 6,000 hryvnias were collected. Money was transferred to the representatives of the public space “Krop: hub Kropyvnytskyi”.

The Kropyvnytskyi “Active Community” team continues to provide assistance to internally displaced persons who are looking for temporary shelter in the oblast’s center. This time the coordinators advised resettlers from Zaporizhzhia, the Mykolaiv Oblast and the Kharkiv Oblast to obtain documents on the status of IDPs. Also, fellow citizens who were forced to leave their homes in search of a safe place, need information about current offers from employers in the regional center and surrounding communities. Work with displaced persons is carried out on an ongoing basis.

Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

A truckload of humanitarian support from the village of Karpylivka went to the cities of Izium, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. It was collected by Volodymyr Brychka, a well-known volunteer from the Rivne Oblast. In total, 14 cars delivered aid to the East. Caring people from several oblasts of Ukraine united and sent 35 tons of potatoes, more than 1,000 food kits, bread, homemade pastries, baby food, diapers, warm clothes and overalls for rescuers.

Khmelnytska Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

There is another loss in the Kamianets-Podilskyi community. Oleksandr Shushkov, a resident of the city of Kamianets, died in battle in the Donetsk Oblast. He was only 21. Eternal glory to the Hero!

The exhibition for the Day of Tourism was held in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. It was organized for residents and guests of the community by the coordinator of the AUI “Active Community” team Slavko Polyatynchuk. Together with the local history department of the Central Library named after Kostya Solukha, he introduced participants to the historical past of the ancient city and talked about its tourist attractions.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna said goodbye to the Hero who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine: soldier Ivan Ipatiy was taken on his last journey in the village of Lukavtsi.

An enterprise that produces pellets from plastic waste has moved to the city of Chernivtsi from the city of Kharkiv. The main equipment was located on the territory of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant, where the russians aimed missiles from the first days. The equipment was transported to the Chernivtsi Oblast by ten trucks. Now the company helps the military. They make stoves, «kishkas», thanks to which you can remotely detonate a mine, evacuate the wounded from the battlefield during shelling, etc. The company plans to stay in Chernivtsi due to its convenient location.

 In Bukovina, since the beginning of July, 230 applications for micro-grants have been submitted within the framework of the “eRobota” program. More than 30 of them are approved. The government will allocate more than eight million hryvnias for the implementation of the projects.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Several schools in Uzhhorod evacuated students due to reports of landmines. It is known that letters warning about landmines have been sent to school e-mail addresses. According to the results of the survey, no explosive objects were found in the educational institutions.

More than 1,700 packets of dry borscht have been made and sent to the front line by volunteers from Tiachiv for six months. They started preparing them back in 2015. And with the full-scale invasion of russia in Ukraine, they expanded their work on a larger scale. One package is used for 10 liters of borscht, which will provide lunch for almost 20 defenders.
