Northern oblasts
Kyiv
Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, arrived in Kyiv today.

Kyiv Oblast
The Italian Terre des Hommes Foundation, in cooperation with the working group of the Irpin Reconstruction Summit project and with the support of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund, will repair, by winter, three apartment buildings in Irpin that were damaged as a result of russian aggression in March this year.
Bohuslav
The construction of high-rise buildings for social housing within the city of Bohuslav was supported by deputies at a meeting of the Bohuslav City Council. In addition, changes were made to the composition of the privileged categories of citizens in the food program. Therefore, children whose parents are called up for military service will eat for free. Finally, they discussed the issue of renaming streets in Bohuslav. Currently, a public discussion is ongoing in this regard. Also at the meeting, the parents of the deceased Andriy Khomenko were presented with a certificate of conferring the title of Hero of Ukraine on their son with the award of the Golden Star order. 24-year-old senior lieutenant Andriy Khomenko was killed in action in March 2022 during the destruction of a Russian landing force in the Mykolaiv Oblast.
Bohuslav “Shershni” (Hornets), despite a six-month break, won the first place at the All-Ukrainian “Kremen Cup” hockey tournament in Kremenchuk. The second place went to hockey players from Kremenchuk, and the young athletes from Dnipro placed third. The tournament was held among the participants, whose age was only 8-9 years. This is reported by the Sports Development Association.
Zhytomyr Oblast
Zhytomyr said goodbye to a Hero. Oleh Volynets, born in 1985, returned home on the shield. He was an officer of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The other day, in the forest between the settlement of Chopovychi and the village of Meleni, an employee of the Korosten forestry found fragments of a russian missile. According to preliminary information, she got into the forest after enemy shelling that took place earlier on the territory of the oblast. Law enforcement officers documented evidence of a russian war crime. As of September 27, 1,067 criminal proceedings have been initiated on the facts of the commission of war crimes by the Russian aggressor on the territory of the Zhytomyr Oblast.
In Zhytomyr, a performance of the documentary theater “Breathe, you have to!” took place. The “Active Community” team took part in organizing it. Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, the russians shelled the outskirts of the village of Huta-Studenetska of the Snovsk community. The enemy fired 10 shots from tube artillery.
After 12 p.m., the russians shelled the Horodnia territorial community. Border guards recorded 16 explosions from AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher.
In the Chernihiv Oblast, they said goodbye to soldier Anatoliy Korotkyi.
Sumy Oblast
Yesterday, the russians shelled 4 communities in the Sumy Oblast: Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna-Buda. 42 explosions were recorded. The territory of the Krasnopillia community was shelled by the russian military in the morning and in the evening with self-propelled artillery mounts. The enemy fired a mortar at the Bilopillia community. 6 missiles were fired from a helicopter on the outskirts of the villages of the Shalyhyne community from the territory of russia; the power grids were damaged. It was followed later by mortar and artillery fire. Explosions from grenade launchers, as well as machine gun and automatic rounds were also recorded. In the evening, the Seredyna-Buda community was also shelled by the russian military with mortars.
This morning, 3 enemy’s mortar shells hit the territory of the Shalyhyne community. The russians also fired automatic weapons at the community.
In the Sumy Oblast, at the request of representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey, “Bayraktar” embroidered cloths were created based on the motifs of the Krolevets woven towels, and the first batch was handed over to the Turkish company Baykar.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, the enemy shelled the settlements of the Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Izium, and Lozova raions of the oblast. Private houses, outbuildings, garages and shops were damaged.
In Kupiansk, as a result of shelling, a church school, an outbuilding, and a store were on fire.
During the day, 5 people were hospitalized with wounds from enemy shelling. All of them are residents of the Kupiansk Raion.
In Pervomaiske, a russian missile hit residential buildings and outbuildings, also several cars caught fire. The wreckage of the “Iskander” missile was found on the spot. The russians took the life of a 15-year-old child. According to the State Emergency Service Office, 7 dead people were found under the rubble.
In Vovchansk, a garage cooperative and the premises of the meat processing plant burned down due to enemy shelling. No casualties.
The Kharkiv diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church reported the destruction by the occupiers of the Archangel Michael Church in Ruski Tyshky. The door was broken, and valuable liturgical items and icons were taken to an unknown place.
Demining of the territory of the Kharkiv Oblast continues. Over the past day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service neutralized 906 explosive items.
Donetsk Oblast
On September 26, the russians killed 3 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast: two in Bakhmut and one in Khromove. Another 13 people were wounded.
In total, since February, the russians have killed 890 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,257 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk
Russian occupiers attacked Kramatorsk and Sloviansk almost simultaneously on Monday evening.
In Kramatorsk, the russians hit the city center: one missile fell into the park of sculptures “Born in Ukraine”. Alleys, the sculptural composition and street lights were damaged, also windows in the nearby buildings were shattered.
The second missile caused much more damage: as a result of a direct hit, a wall in one of the apartments of the 5-storey building was destroyed, 4 people were injured. At least 34 windows were broken in the house, and the roof was partially damaged.
In Sloviansk, a residential area in the center of the city came under fire. At least three buildings were damaged. Information about the casualties is being clarified.
Local volunteers help to clear the rubble caused by shelling, provide hot food and drinks to the residents of the affected houses.
In Kramatorsk, the 4th stage of providing humanitarian aid to the city’s residents from the Humanitarian Center of the Kramatorsk City Council and partners – charitable foundations, the Red Cross and others – has begun. Humanitarian aid is issued to one address – to one family. On the territory of starosta districts, assistance can be obtained through the starostas (elders).
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
There was a lot of noise in the Marinka and Avdiivka communities of the Pokrovsky Raion during the last day. As a result of shelling, 2 private houses in Krasnohorivka and an administrative building in Maksimilianivka were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The night passed peacefully in the city of Avdiivka, but in the morning there was massive enemy artillery fire. The consequences are still being established.
An exhibition action took place in the city of Pokrovsk. This event was implemented within the framework of the ZMINA_2_0 project “Subgrants for cultural projects”, which was implemented by the Isolation fund with the financial support of the European Union. At the exhibition the organizers presented photos and publications about Pokrovsk from different years.
Bakhmut
That night, the communities of Bakhmut, Toretsk and Svitlodar were shelled.
As a result of enemy fire, a resident of the city of Bakhmut, born in 1953, needed urgent medical aid. She was hospitalized. In total 2 people died and 4 were injured in Bakhmut and Khromovo. 2 private and 2 apartment buildings were damaged.
In the evening the town of Toretsk came under fire from the russians. There were no casualties, but the city’s electricity supply was partially damaged.
In the Svitlodar community, shelling of the village of Odradivka and the Mayorsk station continued throughout the night. There were no casualties.
Mariupol
Today is the last day of the pseudo-referendum of the russians. Mariupol residents «are voting» right at the market or near their homes. The occupiers are watching what kind of mark the residents make. That is why people are afraid to vote against, because there are no mechanisms for protecting their rights in the occupied territories.
Mariupol residents receive messages asking them to appear at the military commissariat. The occupiers justify their decision by the fact that Mariupol will become part of russia according to the results of the pseudo-referendum.
During August and early September, the occupiers wrote about how they cut the radiators and dismantled the heating systems in the houses. As a replacement, they promised to install new plastic pipes and aluminum radiators. But now there is only a pseudo-referendum in the public spaces of the occupiers, and no one is going to provide warmth to the people of the city of Mariupol.
Southern oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian military struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with ten S-300 missiles. As a result of shelling, in particular, a power line was damaged. A fire broke out. According to preliminary information, there are wounded citizens.
The russian military threatens to mobilize residents of the town of Energodar who refuse to speak “for” joining the russian federation. They point guns at people and tell them how to “vote correctly”.
In the temporarily occupied cities of Melitopol and Berdyansk, activists of the “Yellow Ribbon” movement put up leaflets with information about the fakeness of the Russian “referendum”.
The General Staff released confirmed data on the destruction of equipment and manpower of the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Thus, in addition to the liquidated S-300 complex, 5 units of military equipment were damaged and more than 50 occupiers were injured in the Tokmak and Chernihivka settlements.
In Melitopol, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed up to 10 units of weapons and military equipment, as well as the enemy’s manpower (more than 20 occupiers).
Kherson Oblast
On the morning of September 27, in the Kherson Oblast, during an attempt to carry out aerial reconnaissance and direct fire, the forces and means of air defense of the “South” air command eliminated a russian operational-tactical drone, probably “Orlan-10”.
The occupiers closed the Kherson Oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupied part of the Kherson Oblast is completely closed for entry and exit.
Mykolaiv Oblast
During the night, Mykolaiv has come under enemy fire twice. The enemy hit different areas of the city with Tornado-S MLRS. Currently, it is known about damage to a number of civilian objects in the city center, including residential buildings, shops and the water supply network. Also, as a result of the shelling, the warehouse was destroyed, followed by burning.
At night, the enemy carried out artillery strikes on the water zone in the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community.
At night, enemy rocket fire was recorded at the village of Vesniane in the Vesniane community. As a result, residential buildings, social infrastructure, garages, cars were partially destroyed and damaged.
Settlements located on the demarcation line of the Bereznehuvate community remain under constant fire from the russians. Yesterday, the enemy shelled the outskirts of the village of Murakhivka and the outskirts of the Bereznehuvate station.
The enemy shelling of the Shyroke community continues. Two residential buildings were damaged. There were also hits in cities and roads. In addition, at midnight there were hits on an agricultural enterprise outside the village.
Also yesterday, the enemy shelled the village of Chervona Dolyna. These were hitting of previously destroyed houses.
Odesa Oblast
The Odesa Oblast was once again attacked by kamikaze drones. All the three aggressor drones were destroyed by the air defense forces.
The security service exposed a russian agent in the city of Odesa. He scouted places of deployment and movement of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the south of the Oblast. In addition, he established the exact coordinates of roadblocks and critical infrastructure facilities, especially in the field of heat and energy supply. According to the investigation, the traitor is a resident of the city of Reni, who was recruited by the special services of the russian federation after the start of the full-scale invasion. Employees of the Security Service detained the intruder while trying to pass information to the russian federation.
Odesa said goodbye to the outstanding athlete and coach Vahid Sabirov. The master of sports in sambo, the senior coach of the youth national team of Ukraine and the president of the Odesa Oblast sambo federation raised many champions and prize-winners of the championships of Ukraine. He was only 57.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
The russians fired an X-59 missile at the airport of the city of Kryvyi Rih. Its infrastructure is destroyed. Further use of the airport and equipment is impossible.
The occupiers again shelled the city of Marganets. Three people received shrapnel wounds. All are treated, one victim is in serious condition. In the city, a garage cooperative, a gas pipeline, private houses, an administrative building and cars were damaged.
At night the city of Nikopol came under enemy fire. More than 10 private houses, commercial buildings and the building of a local enterprise were damaged.
In the Zelenodol community, 2 buildings were partially destroyed and power lines were cut. The Apostolove and Chervonohrihorivka communities were also shelled.
In the battles for Ukraine, the defenders from the Dnipro Oblast died: 45-year-old police major Andriy Sedchenko from the city of Zhovti Vody, 42-year-old Ihor Matukhno from the city of Dnipro, 47-year-old Serhiy Popereka from the city of Kamianske, 42-year-old Volodymyr Mogilovskyi from the city of Kryvyi Rih. In Dnipro, internally displaced persons from the Luhansk Oblast took part in a rally against the illegal “referendum”
In the city of Dnipro, the Mariupol People’s Theater presented a puppet show for the children of internally displaced persons. The actors have rehearsed online for several weeks in order to entertain the audience. Later, this play will be shown to immigrant children in other cities of Ukraine, and then to Ukrainian children in Hanover, Germany.
Kirovohrad Oblast
The Svitlovodsk community (Olexandria Raion) paid the last respects to the countryman Oleksandr Nosenko, who served as a rifleman. The life of a 35-year-old defender ended on September 20 near the village of Yatskivka (Donetsk Oblast). Eternal memory of the Hero!
The mayor of Oleksandria presented the Order of Courage, III degree, to the mother of the deceased defender Kostyantyn Yermakov. The decree on awarding the soldier with the order was signed by the President of Ukraine. Kostyantyn Yermakov was killed on April 15 while performing a combat mission at the front.
A regular evacuation train from Donetsk Oblast arrived in Kirovohrad Oblast. This time 124 passengers were met. Among them are 23 children. There are also people with reduced mobility. The IDPs were placed on the territory of Hannivka and Pishchanyi Brid communities. In total, since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation, the region sheltered almost 3,300 people from the Donetsk Oblast. Since the beginning of the war, more than 91,000 internally displaced persons have moved to Kirovohrad Oblast.
“Oschadbank” processed the first batch of “brave” coins collected by the residents of Kropyvnytskyi. 13,771 UAH 25 kopecks have already been transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The collection continues and takes place in the Transparent Office of Kropyvnytskyi. Everyone who wants to can join.
“Victory Gardens” in Kirovohrad Oblast exceeded all expectations. The communities of the oblast attracted more than 30 hectares of additional areas for vegetable gardens, and grew all traditional garden crops: zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, beets, cabbage and carrots. Then the harvest was collected and distributed. According to preliminary data, it is about an increase in the expected gross production of vegetables by 30% compared to the previous year. This is quite enough to ensure the food needs of the population of the oblast, the Kropyvnytskyi Oblast Military Administration assures.
Poltava Oblast
Poltava Oblast paid the last respects to the Heroes. Defending the sovereignty of Ukraine, soldiers Stanislav Suskyi from Dykanka, Oleg Skrypka from Kremenchuk, Oleksandr Bulat from Poltava, Ihor Ivashchenko and Stanislav Kulyk died in the battles.
In Poltava, a mask regime may be established from next week due to the increase in the number of patients with COVID-19. In Horishni Plavni, Myrhorod and Kremenchuk, the mask regime is already in effect in public institutions. The number of new cases in the oblast is increasing every time. Only in Poltava, 2,260 people fell ill last week.
The Headquarters of humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons works on the basis of the Center for Culture and Leisure. Here, IDPs receive food kits, hygiene products and baby food.
The Kharkiv IT company “NIX Solutions” opened an office in Poltava. 240 specialists now live and work in the city and oblast. Representatives of Poltava Oblast Military Administration agreed to jointly organize IT training projects for schoolchildren.

Lviv Oblast

A mobile prosthetics workshop was opened in the Lviv hospital of St. Panteleimon. Here, from individual ready-made elements provided by benefactors, a prosthesis will be assembled for specific features of the patient’s body. The workshop will become part of the future “Nezlamni” center of the first medical association of Lviv. There, people who need a prosthesis will receive it for free, and will also undergo a complex of pre-prosthetic training and rehabilitation immediately on the spot.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
In the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, the court sentenced to 14 years in prison an enemy “sniper-radiotelephone operator”, who was captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Oblast A 23-year-old mobilized russian citizen from Donetsk fought against the Ukrainian army in a separate rifle and sniper platoon of the 3rd battalion of the 115th regiment, the so-called “Donetsk people’s republic” of the russian armed forces. He took part in the hostilities near the village of Bobrivka, where mobilized residents from the occupied territories were thrown into combat reconnaissance by order of the russians. They had to call down the fire of the Ukrainian army so that the 25th Brigade of the russian armed forces could detect the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rivne Oblast
Three unmanned aerial vehicles were purchased by PrJSC “Rivneoblenergo” for Ukrainian defenders. The total cost of drones is about 300,000 UAH. Drones are intended for military units where the company’s employees serve. One of them has already been handed over to defenders in Eastern Ukraine. For one of the aircraft, money was raised by the employees and allocated by the trade union, the other two were purchased by the decision of the board of PrJSC “Rivneoblenergo”.
“Let’s keep our people warm” is an initiative launched by PJSC “Rivnegaz” to support defenders at the front line. The company ordered 30 “burzuykas” (metal stoves for heating rooms and cooking food), which will be sent to employees serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the stoves, the air supply and exhaust gases are regulated to control the intensity of combustion. There are additional racks and spokes on which fighters can dry clothes and shoes. For better masking, all stoves are equipped with spark arresters.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
In Khmelnytskyi, the last respects were paid to 49-year-old serviceman Serhii Vezdenetskyi. The man went to defend Ukraine in the first days of the full-scale war. He was appointed commander of the mortar company. On September 11, Serhii Vezdenetskyi was wounded in the Kherson Oblast, and doctors fought for his life for several days. He has two sons left, one of whom also serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An international project was launched in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the goal of which is to popularize Ukrainian borscht. The project will be joined by representatives of different countries to try to cook a dish according to ancient recipes online.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
The Kamianets-Podilskyi community sent another shipment to fellow countrymen, fighters of the Territorial Defense. From now on, the defenders have a thermal imager, a motorized pump for pumping water from the trenches, canned food, hygiene products, gas burner and cylinders for them, candles, medicines.
Today, representatives of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city government visited 7 villages of the community where internally displaced persons live. Taking into account their needs and the lack of opportunity to come to the city, humanitarian aid was provided in the villages. 29 families received food kits.
Over the past week, the Department of Social Protection accepted another 46 applications from internally displaced persons to receive this status, and assigned 260 types of benefits, including 144 – to IDPs.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Bukovyna paid the last respects to the Hero who gave his life in battle, defending Ukraine from the russian invaders. Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Golovka was solemnly buried on the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery of Chernivtsi.
The owner of the service station from the Chernivtsi Oblast, Vasyl Kulyk, together with four auto mechanics, serves in the National Guard of Ukraine. The men took the tools and equipment with them and are now repairing cars for the army.
Foreign benefactors donated medicines to the Chernivtsi Oblast Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the charity fund of the public organization “People’s Aid Ukraine” and the NGO “Volksgilfe Austria”, the communal institution received drugs for children with cancer and newborn babies.
For the first time, Ukraine won the most prestigious European cultural heritage competition “European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards”. Among the contestants are representatives from more than 30 European countries. In addition to the award, the winners take home a cash prize of 10,000 euros for the development of the “Museum of Ukrainian Needlework” in Chernivtsi.
