Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
In Kyiv, special safety trainings are held by rescuers, the police and the Red Cross Society. Children and adults in a playful way received the necessary safety knowledge at the appropriate locations.
An art project about the legendary Azovstal plant was presented in Kyiv. Currently, it is a ruin, which in the future, after the de-occupation of Mariupol, should become a memorial complex. The exhibition continues in the “Portal 11” art gallery.
Kyiv Oblast
Today in Bucha, citizens said goodbye to the military pilot Mykhailo Matyushchenko with the call sign “Grandfather”. He headed the 40th brigade of tactical aviation “Ghosts of Kyiv”. He died in the battle over the Black Sea at the end of June.
In the Kyiv Oblast, educational institutions damaged by the russians are being rebuilt, so that schoolchildren can study in the face-to-face format as soon as possible. In particular, the premise is also being renovated in School No. 3 of Bucha. A complex of energy-efficient measures is being carried out here: damaged windows and roofs are replaced, the facade is insulated, and the premises are repaired.
Bohuslav
An auction of goods, a tour of the Semyhory, a children’s lawn, an ethno show, performances by folklore groups and the “highlight” of the holiday – the star of the series “To catch the Kaidash”. All this could be seen and heard at the weekend in the village of Semyhory in Bohuslav Oblast. “Pumpkin Fest in the Kaidash family – 2022” was held there. If last year the event was designed to organize a break from rural work and culturally enrich its visitors, this year the main goal of the event was charity. Together, more than 90,000 hryvnias were collected. The collection was continued today in order to hand over exactly 100,000 hryvnias to the military from Bohuslav raion.
Zhytomyr Oblast
In the St. Michael’s Cathedral in Zhytomyr, people said goodbye to soldier Volodymyr Maletsky. A 53-year-old defender was killed by a missile strike. He had a father, wife and daughter. Eternal glory to the Hero.
Five brigades of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received combat flags. Among them is the 115th Zhytomyr brigade. The General Staff explained that the awarding of Battle Flags is recognition of the combat merits of the unit. Units of the 115th brigade performed defense tasks in the Zhytomyr Oblast. They did not allow the enemy to advance deep into the territory and forced the occupiers to move beyond the borders of the state.
Volunteers of the Humanitarian Hub “Zhytomyr” collected money for two unmanned aerial systems. They have already been handed over to the Ukrainian military. Also, HumHab ordered quadcopters and is collecting funds for the purchase of trucks for the Armed Forces.
Chernihiv Oblast
Russian tank battalion commander Leonid Shchotkin will be tried in absentia in Chernihiv. During the breakthrough in Chernihiv Shchyotkin gave a criminal order to the tank gunner operator Mykhailo Kulikov to fire a 125 mm high-explosive projectile at a new building, which was not a military target and was not used for military purposes. Kulikov was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment and the collection of procedural costs in the amount of 26 thousand hryvnias. Shchyotkin will be tried in absentia.
Sumy Oblast
Yesterday, the russians shelled the Yunakivka community. 5 private houses and a school, power line and gas pipeline were damaged. The community lacks electricity and mobile communications.
Russian troops are gradually pull together mobilized persons in the direction of Sumy, but not directly to the border zone. This was announced by the Commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy continued shelling the civilian population of Kupyansk, Kharkiv, Chuguyiv and Izyum raions of Kharkiv Oblasts.
Two civilians in Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raions were hospitalized with injuries sustained as a result of russian shelling.
A burned-out car was found in the Kupyansk raion, in which five people aged 18 to 50 died. According to the police, in May, residents of Kupyansk tried to evacuate the occupied city on their own and hit a russian mine.
In the Izyum raion near Balaklia, an emergency medical vehicle was blown up by a mine. Unfortunately, the 60-year-old driver died. A 23-year-old paramedic was injured.
In addition, a 36-year-old man was injured by a mine in the Kharkiv raion.
The process of demining continues in the Oblast, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service defused 569 explosive objects during the day.
Donetsk Oblast
The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the liberation of Torske village in Donetsk Oblast. Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made this introduction. The enemy is trying to gain a foothold in Kreminna and build defenses. And social networks are spreading statements about the so-called russian “military forces”, which include mass shelling of russian military personnel in Kreminna by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On October 2, the russians killed one civilian of Donetsk Oblast – in Bakhmut. Another 8 people were injured. The total number of dead in this Oblast is 917 people, 2322 wounded. It is still impossible to establish the number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovaha.
Kramatorsk
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Novosadove, Terny, Yampil, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne.
At dawn, the russians launched a rocket attack on Kramatorsk – they hit the building of the enterprise, there were no casualties.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
That night, the russians shelled communities along the front line from Avdiivka to Siversk, and also struck the relative rear.
In the Donetsk direction, the russians fired at Avdiyivka and Ocheretyne communities. In Avdiivka, there were isolated raids on the old part of the city, in Ocheretyne community they hit Zhelanne and shelled Kamianka. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
The Myrnograd community of Pokrovsk raion said goodbye to the hero. Senior sergeant Yurii Tomas, born in 1982, assistant shooter of the grenade launcher of military unit A 0641, received a non-life-threatening wound on September 25 while performing a combat mission in Novoselivka, Kramatorsk raion.

Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired using tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of such settlements as Fedorivka, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bilogorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Odradivka, Zaytseve, Toretsk, Mayorsk, Nelipivka, and Yuryivka.
The Chasiv Yar community was the most affected – the russians targeted the dormitory of the educational institution in Chasiv Yar, at least 1 person is under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing.
It was also loud in Odradivka and at the Mayorsk station of the Svitlodar community.
In the Lysychansk direction, there was constant shelling of Siversk and Serebryanka. Information about the victims and extent of destruction is being clarified.
Mariupol
Yesterday, a russian excavator blew up in Mariupol. While digging, he caught a russian projectile. Today, in all schools, the occupiers obliged teachers to teach a lesson about the fact that Mariupol has always been russia.
In the city, queues line up every morning to receive pensions and social benefits on the spot. The occupying power continues to create the illusion that “something is being done” by such turns.
Mariupol residents remind russians every day that Mariupol is Ukraine.
Luhansk Oblast
The occupiers are not preparing Severodonetsk for the heating season and are not carrying out infrastructure restoration work. Instead, demonstrative propaganda events are held. The Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicion of cooperation with the aggressor state to Dmytro Krymov, a resident of occupied Luhansk, an employee of the local occupation television. According to Ukrainian legislation, he faces 10 to 12 years in prison.
Residents of Luhansk Oblast are waiting for the Armed Forces – they regularly inform where the military convoys of the occupiers are moving. And the occupiers complain online that their positions near Kreminna are being shelled.
Southern Oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian military fired about 10 S-300 missiles at Zaporizhzhia and two villages of the Zaporizhzhia Raion. So far, it is known about one injured person.

As a result of the rocket attack in Zaporizhzhia, an infrastructure object, two educational institutions, one medical institution and, previously, seven apartment buildings were damaged.
On October 3, the State Council of the russia ratified the agreement on the “accession” to russia of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine: the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”, Zaporizhzhia and KhersonOblasts.
According to the mayor of Melitopol, the occupiers issued 10,000 russian passports in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhia Oblast.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported detailed data on the damage to personnel and equipment of the russian military in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in the previous days: three warehouses with ammunition, more than twenty pieces of weapons and military equipment, the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex. More than two hundred and fifty russian servicemen were injured in the personnel concentration area. Information on irreversible losses in manpower is being clarified.
Kherson Oblast
In the Kherson Oblast, the russian military shelled almost all settlements on the contact line, there are wounded among the civilian population. The most damage and destruction of civil infrastructure, private houses, and farm buildings was recorded in the villages of Arkhangelsk and Visokopillya, the villages of Tokareve, Ivanivka, Olgyne, Myrolyubivka, Orlove.
In the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast, the russian military is conducting mobilization activities: conducting yard patrols, compiling lists of men of conscription age, the Operational Command “South” reports.
Servicemen of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Zakarpattia raised the state flag over the liberated Myrolyubivka of the Kherson Oblast. “To be continued. Glory to Ukraine!” said the stormtroopers.
On October 3, a unit of the Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigade shot down a russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Beryslav district of the Kherso Oblast. Also, anti-aircraft units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the same area eliminated a Ka-52 attack helicopter.
In Kherson, police officers exposed a “supporter of the russian measure”, the so-called “head” of a penitentiary institution and an educator in the Skadovsk district, who implements russian education standards. According to all the facts, criminal proceedings “Violation of the Laws and Customs of War ” have been opened.
The organizers of the “Kherson Post” pseudo-organization, which the occupation authorities created on the basis of “Ukrposhta”, were informed of the suspicion: seven of them were aiding the aggressor state, and three of them were also involved in collaborative activities.
Employees of the Beryslav police department, together with benefactors, delivered gas cylinders to the residents of de-occupied Visokopil. After six months of occupation, there is no water, gas or electricity in the village, people cook food on an open fire.
Mykolayiv Oblast
Yesterday, from 2:00 p.m., the enemy attacked the village of Pervomaisk of the Pervomaysk community with anti-aircraft missiles. Hitting the object of civil infrastructure and mainly in open areas.
Enemy shelling of the Ochakiv water area was recorded in the morning. There are no casualties.
Settlements of the Berezneguvat community remain under constant enemy fire. Yesterday, the Berezneguvate station was shelled by the russians.
Enemy shelling of the Shiroke community continues. At night, explosions rang out near the village of Shiroke.
Odesa Oblast
During the execution of a combat mission in the Kherson region, the marksman-assistant grenade launcher of military unit A0666 Yury Bondarenko died. A 33-year-old military man from the city of Bolgrad, Odesa Oblast, died on September 30 as a result of multiple shrapnel wounds.
Russia launched two submarines into the Black Sea and increased the number of Kalibr missiles to 32. A total of eight enemy ships are on duty.
Volodymyr Zelensky presented the orders “For Courage ” of the 3rd degree to soldiers with the callsigns “Did” and “Dnipro” from the 126th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the city of Odesa.
Mark Kutsevalov, a comedian from the Odesa region, bought three ambulances and an SUV for the Armed Forces of Ukraine after a charity trip to Hoverla.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At 7:30 am the city of Dnipro woke up because of the sound of an explosion. An enemy missile hit the outskirts of the city.
Russians shelled with “Grad” and heavy artillery three communities of Nikopol district – Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrivska. In Nikopol, a dozen houses and the power grid were damaged. 630 families were left without electricity. In Marhanets community, a fire broke out in a country house due to shelling. In Myrivska community almost 1000 families are without electricity supply. Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih district is also under shelling. The enemy damaged residential buildings, a solar power plant, agricultural warehouses, a gas pipeline and power lines. More than 350 families of Apostolivka community were left without electricity.
Serhiy Ordashevsky, 39 years old, from Hrechanopodiv community and Roman Lisovsky, 38 years old, from Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk oblast, were killed at the front.
Soldiers of the 98th battalion of the Azov territorial defense unit destroyed an enemy tank at the front. Soldiers of the 129th Brigade from Kryvyi Rih liberated the settlements of Arkhangelske and Myroliubivka in Kherson oblast.
The city of Ternivka has already received almost 4 thousand IDPs. Among them – 856 children. During the war the city received almost 200 tons of humanitarian aid. These are clothes, medicines, hygiene products and more.
In Pokrov, a supporter of the USSR was detained, who was dressed in the symbols of the banned Communist Party of Ukraine and agitated for the establishment of a communist regime.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Today, in Kropyvnytskyi, people said goodbye to captain Andriy Bibikov. The 30-year-old Ukrainian officer, commander of an evacuation platoon, died heroically on 25th September near the village of Bilohirka, Kherson oblast. His family, friends, countrymen and sworn brothers accompanied him on his last journey.
Representatives of the charity fund “For Luhansk Oblast” visited Oleksandria and brought food packages for the internally displaced people. Today, more than 10 thousand IDPs have found temporary shelter in Oleksandria. Over the entire period of the full-scale invasion, more than 30 thousand Ukrainians have visited the city in transit.
A teacher from Kropyvnytskyi, Oleksandr Sukhoruchko, who is currently defending Ukraine, received the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2022 national award in the Teacher Defender nomination. The awarding ceremony took place as part of the National Telethon on Education Workers Day, on 2th of October. Before the full-scale invasion of Russia, Oleksandr Sukhoruchko worked as a physical education teacher. Since the beginning of the war he was a volunteer, then joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine.
Bozorboy Matiakubov, a boxer from Kropyvnytskiy, became the bronze medalist of the World Cup in martial arts among students. The competition was held in Turkey. The competition was attended by 1200 students from 50 countries, representing 344 universities. The national team of Ukraine consisted of 110 students from 50 universities. Kirovograd oblast was represented by boxer Bozorboy Matyakubov.
Western regions
Ivano-Frankivsk
A consolidated detachment of the Main Directorate of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast has gone for eastern Ukraine from Prykarpattya. 49 rescuers with 12 units of equipment will assist colleagues from the east in carrying out emergency rescue and other urgent works in the settlements of Kharkiv oblast liberated from the Russian occupation.
Recently, the 10th mountain assault brigade celebrated its anniversary. On this occasion, the warriors received 13 drones from Kolomyia community of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. The equipment was purchased at the expense of the community.
Rivne Oblast
In the village of Hoshcha in Rivne oblast, a Soviet order with the image of the Kremlin and the inscription “USSR. Victory”. The stele stood on a memorial obelisk and weighed more than 50 kilograms. The decision to dismantle it, was adopted by the executive committee and the deputies. The star will be kept on the territory of the utility company, its further fate has not yet been determined. In addition, the Hoshcha community plans are to rename more than 15 streets.
The Center for Economic Development and Business Relocation operates in Rivne oblast. In particular, there is a call center (0 800 500 078) and a telegram bot (@rivnerelocation_bot). They are key communication platforms for businesses that want to relocate. As of today, 38 companies have relocated to the Rivne oblast. They are mainly from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk and Mykolaiv oblasts. Currently, the largest number of relocated enterprises is located in Rivne district – 33.
Khmelnytsk Oblast
Kamyanets-Podilskyi
Today, the Kamianets-Podilskyi community received news from the front about the death of three servicemen of the 48th engineering brigade – Vladyslav Neborskyi, Pavlo Kyrylenko and Vitalii Vekliych. Eternal glory to the Heroes.
The perinatal center of Kamyanets-Podilsky received humanitarian aid thanks to cooperation with the UN Children’s Fund and UNICEF in the form of a mobile ultrasound scanner, surgical suction pumps, surgical dressing kits, obstetric kits and hygiene kits.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Bukovyna said goodbye to its Heroes who laid down their lives defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. Sailor Ihor Potereiko was laid to rest in the village of Moshanets, soldiers Pavlo Ivanyshchuk – in the village of Putyla and Vitalii Hutsuliak – in the village of Mamayivtsi. Eternal glory.
Since the beginning of the war, Bukovyna has become a shelter for more than 107 thousand internally displaced people, of which more than 35 thousand are children. They were accommodated in 397 municipal institutions and establishments of the Chernivtsi oblast. These are schools, kindergartens, outpatient clinics, hospitals, sanatoriums, social institutions, etc. Currently, internally displaced people live in 145 institutions. Most of them are communal, with a total of more than 5 thousand people.
Residents of Kotelove village of Novoselytsia community in Bukovyna sent almost 10 cars to the front. They raised funds for transport on their own.

The Novoselytska community of the Chernivtsi oblast earned almost UAH 150 thousand at the fair. The locals sold delicacies and folk art products. All the funds will go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
