Northern Oblasts
Kyiv

Chernihiv Oblast
Starting at 6:00 a.m. today, hourly shutdown schedules have been put into effect in the Chernihiv Oblast.
Chernihiv Oblast was one of the first to join the Government initiative “Armiya vidnovlennia [Recovery Army]”, which provides for paid socially useful works. In this way, 78 wards of the Employment Service in the Oblast were employed.

Kharkiv Oblast
The russian occupiers continue to terrorize the civilian population of the towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast, which are located near the contact line and the border with the russian federation. During the past day, the enemy shelled the cities of Kupyansk, Vovchansk and settlements of Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Kharkiv raions.
Yesterday, a 25-year-old mother and 2 children – a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl – were wounded by russian shelling in the village of Petropavlivka, Kupyansk raion. The condition of the mother is assessed as average, the children are in serious condition.
In addition, 76-year-old and 62-year-old men were hospitalized with injuries in the Kupyansk raion. A 70-year-old man was injured and hospitalized in the Chuguyiv raion.
Demining of the liberated territories continues. During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service defused 1,216 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast

Counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a woman suspected of trying to infiltrate the SSU and become a double agent. The detainee was declared suspicious and remanded in custody. She faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
Near the village of Zavitne Bazhannya, in Donetsk Oblast, the russian army placed an additional hospital full of wounded russian soldiers.
On November 1, the russians killed 4 civilians in Donetsk Oblast: 2 in Torske, 1 in Bakhmut and 1 in Kolodyazi. In addition, law enforcement officers discovered the bodies of 5 civilians who died during the occupation in Rubtsy. Another 10 people were injured.
In total, since the day of the full-scale war, russian missiles have killed 1,143 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast, and another 2,513 have been injured. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovaha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
In the Lysychansk direction, shelling of the Torske and Zarichne of Lyman community continues. Consequences are established.

During the day, the occupiers shelled settlements in the east of the Pokrovsk raion: the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Ukrainsk, the villages of Karlivka, Maksimilianivka. There are killed and wounded civilians. Russians targeted homes, a hospital, a school, and a church.
In the morning, an explosion rang out in Zhelanne of the Ocheretyne community of the Pokrovsk raion – the electricity supply was partially damaged. Also in the morning there was a massive shelling of the old part of Avdiyivka – the consequences are being established.
The Pokrovsk community received a new water truck from the Red Cross of Ukraine.
Pipes, valves and containers were also received as part of humanitarian aid.
Two teachers from Pokrovsk received medals ”Za oboronu ridnoi derzhavu [For the defense of the native state]”. In March, the men joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, and before that they worked at Pokrovsk Secondary School No. 9. Oleksandr Hetman held the position of a physical education teacher and was the head of the ever-active military-patriotic club “Dzhura”, a permanent member of the jury at the regional level in sports competitions. In peaceful life, Leonid Hnilov worked as the head of the school methodical association of teacher assistants. A psychologist by profession, he conducted remedial and developmental classes for students studying in the inclusive form.
Bakhmut
In the Horlivka direction, Toretsk was the most affected by russian rockets – at night, the enemies hit the city hospital, damaged the surgical building and the maternity ward. In addition, as a result of shelling, 3 private houses, 2 high-rise buildings, an administrative building and garages were damaged.
There were also isolated attacks in Soledar and Chasovonyi Yar communities: 3 private houses were damaged in Paraskoviivka, and at least 4 houses were damaged in Chasovoy Yar. There were no casualties.
Mariupol
Since the beginning of the cold season, 75 fires have occurred in apartments and houses in Mariupol, in which 5 people died. In the last few days, since the start of distribution of electric heaters, three apartments have completely burned down.
Today, the occupiers on the Left Bank again distributed heaters to Mariupol residents. But for the majority of those who stayed in the center of the Left Bank district, life goes on without water, electricity and heat.
The Mariupol Resistance held another action to remind the occupiers that Mariupol is Ukraine.
Luhansk Oblast
In Severodonetsk, the occupiers turned on only a few dozen houses. There is even a shortage of technical water in the city, and garbage from yards is practically not removed.

Kherson Oblast
Skadovsk
The occupiers moved the so-called “Kherson administration” to Skadovsk. They continue to forcibly “evacuate” the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson Oblast. Local residents are being intimidated by spreading information about the possible undermining of the Kakhovska HPP dam. At the same time, the local population is deprived of means of communication. Equipment, office and computer equipment from the Kherson sewing factory are being transported by trucks. The amount of damages is about 200 thousand dollars. They are also looting the property of five more branches of the company in the occupied territory.
A group of armed men in civilian clothes arrived at a private house in Kherson, introducing themselves as russian police officers. They drove the family out into the street, conducted an illegal search of the house, and then took the two men away. They also stole a car with documents for it from the family, and all valuables were taken from the house.
The occupation authorities are forcing residents of the Kherson Oblast to evacuate. Now this also applies to the left bank part of the region. The “evacuation” zone was extended by 15 kilometers from the Dnipro. People are sent to russia.
The village of Novopetrivka in the Kherson Oblast was liberated on the 4th of October. As a result of shelling, all state and communal infrastructure and about 15% of houses were damaged. There are 135 locals left in the settlement itself.
As a result of shelling by russian troops of the front-line and liberated villages of Beryslav Raion, residential buildings, pharmacies, shops, agricultural buildings, and cars were damaged and destroyed.
Over the past day, the police of the Kherson Oblast opened 34 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by russian soldiers.
In the Kherson Oblast, the Southern Defense Forces blew up two regular ammunition depots of the russian army in the Berislav and Henichesk Raions, and destroyed another one in Bashtanka.
The russian army lost 25 people, 3 Grad systems, an Acacia large-caliber howitzer, a Nona artillery-mortar system, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system, and 11 units of armored vehicles.

Odesa Oblast
At dawn, the enemy directed three Kh-59 cruise missiles at Odesa. From the direction of the Black Sea, with Su-30 aircraft, the enemy tried to attack the south of the region. All missiles were shot down by air defense forces over the sea.
Communal hospitals of Odesa Oblast integrated with “Dia”. Now residents of the region will be able to provide digital copies of documents to medical institutions, instead of photocopies.

Kropyvnytskyi children with disabilities of the NGO “Mother’s Heart” and their parents make trench candles for Ukrainian soldiers who defend the state on the front line. A few months ago it was a small initiative of a few people, and now it is almost non-stop production. Thousands of candles are made and sent to the front line.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Two Heroes of Khmelnytskyi oblast were posthumously awarded with orders. The state awards were presented to the relatives of servicemen who died in battles. Thus, junior lieutenant Yevhen Karas was awarded with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the III degree, and sergeant Oleksii Cherniavskyi was awarded with the Order “For Courage” of the III degree.
Military firefighters of Khmelnytskyi oblast received a modern fire truck. It is equipped with 2 hoses, which allows extinguishing fires from both sides with compact and sprayed jets of water. The Ukrainian diaspora and philanthropists of the Czech Republic raised funds, purchased and prepared the vehicle for use. The fire truck was delivered to Khmelnytskyi oblast with the support of the regional military administration and the charity organization “Protect Khmelnytskyi Oblast”.
Khmelnytskyi Educational Hub has started registration for the IV session of free online courses in Ukrainian language. The training will take place remotely. The courses are organised by the Centre for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
On the instructions of the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskiy, a working group was established in Kamianets-Podilskyi to check the readiness of residential buildings for the heating season.
The City Council continues to provide assistance to IDP families. Yesterday 815 packages of flour and peas were distributed. Today, internally displaced persons also received humanitarian aid with food.
Regional coordinator of the “Active Community” in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Slavko Poliatynchuk, joined the action “Library of the Ukrainian warrior”, which was held by the city central library system, and presented 4 books to the military. In total, about 100 books were donated to the library of the Garrison Sergeants Club.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
Another 100 IDPs arrived to Lviv oblast by two evacuation trains. Four trains from Lviv oblast went to Przemysl by 544 people. At all checkpoints in Lviv oblast, 14 thousand 901 people were registered for departure per day. For entry – 14 thousand 364 Ukrainians.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, over UAH 6 million has been compensated from the regional budget to the institutions of Lviv oblast of all forms of ownership for the temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons.
Drohobych received another portion of humanitarian aid – 300 packages for internally displaced persons. They were provided to the community by the Charitable Foundation “Right to Protection”. The assistance is targeted for internally displaced persons from large families and families with children, including persons with disabilities. The organization implements projects to support IDPs in cooperation with the UN Refugee Agency.
Vocational education institutions of Lviv oblast will receive 350 laptops. Certificates for portable computers were presented today to representatives of 22 vocational education institutions and 2 colleges. The total cost of the laptops is UAH 4.5 million. This equipment was donated by the NGO Junior Achievement Ukraine to support Ukrainian youth and the educational process in the conditions of a full-scale war.
Rivne Oblast
The Rivne regional volunteer headquarters made 1500 trench candles. Some of them have already been sent to the front line. Meanwhile, volunteers continue to work on a new batch.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Bukovyna gave the lost honors to warriors who defended their native land from russian invaders. Senior Sergeant Oleksandr Komarytsia said goodbye in the village of Konyatyn, soldiers Pavlo Danyliuk – in the village of Novi Broskivtsi, Oleksandr Mechetin – in the village of Shubranets. May the memory of the Heroes be blessed.
Bukovinian foresters are actively supporting the army: since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, state forestries of the region have sent to military units timber, saw products, and firewood worth more than 11 million hryvnias. In addition, they handed over to the army 14 units of passenger vehicles and 22 – trucks.
A shelter for psychological support and communication of internally displaced persons has been opened in Chernivtsi. Here young people and children who have experienced stress will be able to communicate with each other, consult a psychologist, and learn Ukrainian and English. In addition, dancing, drawing, acting, swimming, and various creative workshops will be organized for them. The German-Ukrainian project “Shelter Ukraine” is implemented by the NGO “Development Alliance” with the support of German partners “Schuler Helfen Leben” and “Peer leader international”.
Educational institutions of Bukovyna received 496 laptops. This became possible thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Google, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Zakarpattia Oblast
Residents of Zakarpattia are encouraged to donate blood. The campaign started in mid-September and will continue permanently. Every day, more than 30 donors visit the regional blood transfusion station. Also, specialists of the institution can visit groups if there are at least 40 people. Currently, the smallest stock is with a negative Rh factor.
The coloring book for children Prygody Stepana v Kvadratliandii (Stepan’s Adventures in Squareland) was presented in Uzhhorod. Together with the clever Stepan, young readers should look for trash in the environment, be aware of the threats from garbage, help residents to clean their village, sort waste properly, reduce the amount of plastic in everyday life, etc. Its goal is to educate an environmentally conscious generation. The coloring book is available in four languages: Ukrainian, Hungarian, Romanian, and Romani.
