Kyiv
About 500 Points of Invincibility in the capital are in a state of readiness. About 20 such points are currently operating.

Kyiv Oblast
Drones were spotted in the airspace of Kyiv Oblast last night. The air alert lasted more than 2 hours. Air defense forces worked on the targets. On the territory of the region, there were no hits to objects of critical or residential infrastructure.

Chernihiv Oblast
On October 22, russian troops shelled the Semenivka community on the border of Chernihiv Oblast with mortars. Border guards recorded 12 explosions.
As of October 23, more than 4,000 hectares of territory in the region have not been demined. The process of demining without special machines can last from 10 years, but there are none in Chernihiv Oblast today.
Sumy Oblast

Kharkiv Oblast
Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction have moved heavy equipment away from the contact line and are conducting “meat assault” tactics. The russians throw up to 30 people on assaults without the support of equipment and suffer losses. During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 15 attacks of the russian army in the Kupyansk direction.
An 81-year-old resident of Dvorichna was injured as a result of russian shelling on October 22, and was hospitalized in a moderate condition. A 39-year-old woman from Kurylivka and three people from Kupyansk were also injured during the day.
As of the morning of October 23, 16 injured as a result of a rocket attack on the Nova Poshta terminal near Kharkiv remain in the hospital. Five people are in intensive care, two of them are in an extremely serious condition.
Electricity supply is being restored in Kurylivka, Kupyansk Oblast, after the russian strike with a guided aerial bomb on October 22. There were 530 consumers without electricity. 35 households that do not receive services due to hitting the local substation are left to recover.
Donetsk Oblast
On October 22, the russian military carried out 18 strikes on ten populated areas of Donetsk Oblast. As a result of the shelling, there were dead and wounded, gas pipelines, power lines, cars, houses, and a store were damaged, the regional police said.
Three people were killed by russian army shelling on October 22 in Avdiyivka, Vasyukivka and Kalynivka. Also in Donetsk Oblast, three residents were injured in Toretsk and Netailovo.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,751 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 4,271. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Rivne Oblast
The military forces of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Latvia, led by the commander, Colonel Kaspars Pudans, visited the Rivne Oblast. In Kovel, several dozens of people staged an action in support of Azov residents, who have been in russian captivity for 18 months, the city council reported. The action was organized by relatives of prisoners and local athletes.

Kamianets-Podilskyi
Stand-up artist and blogger Mark Kutsevalov started a walking journey from Chernivtsi to Kamianets-Podilskyi. He covered 100 kilometers in 24 hours without sleep. The goal of his campaign is to collect UAH 5 million for a car for demining by the military.
