Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The Kyiv City Council plans to transfer over UAH 1 billion to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And by November 1, the possibility of transferring a subvention of UAH 10 billion from the city budget to the state budget for the needs of the Ministry of Defense will be considered.
Two psychological trainings were held in the capital as part of the project to support military families. The next session is scheduled for October 31 and will focus on overcoming stress.

Kyiv Oblast

Zhytomyr Oblast

In the Zhytomyr Oblast, foresters together with the families of fallen defenders of Ukraine are planting “Forests of Heroes” in memory of the fallen soldiers. The first such forest was planted in the Zviahel community.
Chernihiv Oblast
On October 25, russian troops shelled four border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded 91 explosions in the territories of the Horodnia, Snovsk, Semenivka, and Novhorod-Siversk communities.
Russian pilot Aleksandr Krasnoyartsev, who was tried in absentia in the Novozavodskyi District Court in Chernihiv, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and payment of two million hryvnias in moral compensation. It will be recalled that the plane of this russian pilot was shot down in the sky on the outskirts of the city in March 2022. Soon he was exchanged for five Ukrainian pilots.
Sumy Oblast
On October 25, the russian army shelled 7 communities in the Sumy Oblast. The Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske communities came under fire. A teenager was killed as a result of the russian army’s strikes on the Velyka Pysarivka community.
On October 25, a supermarket and four private houses were damaged as a result of mortar shelling in the town of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy Oblast.
On the night of October 26, the Russian army fired small arms at the Yunakivka community in the Sumy Oblast. 15 shots were recorded.
The SBU detained three residents of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy Oblast. A 25-year-old girl, her 50-year-old mother and a 42-year-old fellow villager are suspected of high treason. They were collecting data on the movements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and informing the russians about the results of hostile shelling of the territory of the Shostka Raion.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Ukrainian troops repelled 11 occupiers’ attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka in the Kupiansk sector.
A 57-year-old man hit a butterfly mine in a field near Yaremivka, Izium Raion, on October 25.
An 83-year-old resident of Podoly, Kupiansk Raion, was wounded in the leg in the evening of October 25 as a result of shelling. She was rescued from her destroyed house by local residents.
Forced evacuation for families with children is planned to be announced in 10 settlements of the Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, and Kurylivka communities. The oblast administration also recommends leaving the Borova community. Thus, 78 children currently remain in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and 71 children in Kivsharivka. A total of 275 children are on the evacuation list.
Donetsk Oblast
Over the past day, 6 towns and villages of the Donetsk Oblast were attacked by the russian army.
On October 25, one person was injured in the village of Markove in the Donetsk Oblast as a result of shelling by the russian army.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,754 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,275. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
The russian military shelled the village of Markove in the Kostiantynivka community, Donetsk Oblast, wounding a 51-year-old woman. A private house, a garage and a car were also damaged.
In the Lysychansk sector, five streets in Siversk came under fire. 18 shelling attacks were recorded in the Lyman community.
In Sviatohirsk, Donetsk Oblast, a temporary shelter will operate this winter, just like last year, to accommodate a hundred residents. This year, only the hospital and institutions will be heated in the city, there will be no heating in residential buildings, so a winter shelter is being prepared for people, and firewood and fuel briquettes are being distributed among the private sector residents.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka came under shelling in the Marimka community yesterday. A house in Umanske was damaged in the Ocheretyne community. There were no casualties in the vicinity of the Kurakhiv community under fire.
Four days after the shelling, it became known about two dead people in the village of Stepove, which is located 10 kilometers from Avdiivka. The shell hit the house where an elderly couple was hiding. Information about the death of people was reported by their son, who was hiding in another place.
Over the past day, one person was evacuated from Avdiivka. Locals refuse to evacuate despite the approach of winter.
Assaults by the russian military in the Avdiivka direction did not stop, but they became somehow fewer. russian units in this direction are regrouping in connection with significant losses, but continue to actively use aviation. In three days, the russian military dropped almost fifty guided aerial bombs in this direction.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Chasiv Yar community, two high-rise buildings and two private houses were damaged as a result of shelling by the russian army last night.
Luhansk Oblast
Half of the current residents of the Sievierodonetsk Raion are military personnel of the russian federation and tourists from russia. Most people were left without central heating. The occupiers conduct propaganda activities with educators, cultural workers and authorities, the FSS (FSB) is intensifying its work in the occupied territories.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On October 25 and on the night of October 26, russian troops fired artillery at the water area and the town of Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv Oblast. Artillery also fired at the coast of the Kutsurub community. There are no casualties or injuries.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The invaders opened fire on 26 settlements. 136 hits were recorded. 10 reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. Civilians were not injured.
In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, representatives of the Ukrainian resistance movement blew up a car with four FSS (FSB) employees. Among the dead is a war criminal who committed brutal torture against citizens of Ukraine.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled all attacks by the russian army in the Verbove area.
168 saplings of the 700-year-old Zaporizhia oak were planted in the Voznesensky Park in the city of Zaporizhia. Alla Yakovleva, a local resident, collected acorns from the only living branch of the tree and for five years grew and cared for the saplings.
Odessa Oblast

russian troops shelled the territory of the Kherson Oblast 51 times in the past day. They hit residential neighborhoods. Two people, including a child, died, four were injured.
During the day in the Kherson Oblast, the russian army carried out ten airstrikes using 41 guided air bombs on Beryslav, Mykolaivka, Odradokamianka, Tiaginka, Olhivka, Novoberyslav, Vesely and Lvove.
In the evening, the russian army attacked the village of Novoberyslav with mortars and aircraft. As a result of the russian shelling, residential buildings, commercial buildings and a shop were destroyed. There are no casualties or injuries.
This morning, russian military artillery shelled Kizomys in the Kherson Oblast. The wounded man was hospitalized. Residential buildings are damaged.

Today, the ecological farm ” Goat of Lyman” was evacuated from Stanislav in the Kherson Oblast, which is constantly under fire from russian troops. The owners, together with the animals, move to the Kyiv Oblast. The evacuation took place with the support of the Save Ukraine charity fund .
A large family from the Kherson Oblast was brought to the territory controlled by Ukraine. They tried to leave the occupation at the beginning of the war, but the russian military did not let them go. Now the family lives with relatives in Ivano-Frankivsk and is trying to adapt to a different life.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
russian troops attacked the Marganets community in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from a drone. Four private houses and two farm buildings were damaged. Nikopol was hit by a kamikaze drone and heavy artillery. Three houses and an outbuilding were damaged.
There are no casualties or injuries. The night in the Oblast passed without shelling.
Almost two thousand immigrants found work through the employment service of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in 2023. Most of them were employed in trade, educational and medical institutions. And also – industrial and agricultural enterprises.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Vitaliy Kapinus, a fighter from the Mala Vyska community of the Novoukrainka Raion of the Kirovohrad Oblast, was awarded the “Golden Cross”. This is an award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. Vitaly Kapinus is currently at war.
Cherkasy Oblast
In the year and a half since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, 840 enterprises have moved to safer regions under the relocation program. Of them, 24 companies settled in the Cherkasy Oblast.
Almost UAH 30,000 were collected at the “After the Victory” charity performance in Cherkasy. It was attended by pupils of the Complex Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities “Zhaga Zhyttia” and the NGO “Union of Parents of Youth with Disabilities “Perspektyva”. The money was collected for a theater employee who is currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Poltava Oblast
It is planned to publish a book about the fallen Hero of Ukraine from the Poltava Oblast. Serhii Mishchenko destroyed more than 30 units of enemy equipment in battles, for which his comrades called him a tank destroyer. The soldier died on December 1, 2022, and this year he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. A friend of the defender Oleksandr Tovstonoh wrote a book about Oleksandr Mishchenko. The author wants to attract partners to help with the editing and design of the book, presentation and dissemination of information about the project.
Vinnytsia Oblast
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, more than 600 people have received free prosthetics and rehabilitation at the Vinnytsia State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise. More than 200 of them are military.
Smoke grenades for the military are made by Ihor Shevchuk from Vinnytsia. He makes them from a mixture of paraffin, powdered sugar and a secret ingredient. The cost of one is up to UAH 100. The military uses them to cover the evacuation, so that the enemy does not have the opportunity to target the positions.
Western Oblasts
Volyn Oblast
16-year-old Pavlo from Rokyn has muscular atrophy and moves around in a wheelchair. Classmates helped the boy to visit the Carpathian Mountains. The children took turns carrying Pavlo on their backs and together with him climbed Mount Shpytsi. Its height is 1863 meters.
Lviv Oblast
The Lviv Oblast hosted a forum dedicated to opportunities for defenders in the region. Representatives of 10 veteran organizations spoke about their activities.
Currently, more than 31,000 elderly people who have registered as IDPs live in the Lviv Oblast. More than 10,000 people are disabled. And the number of those who become disabled due to war is increasing.
In Lviv, a Soviet inscription was dismantled from the “Hill of Glory” memorial complex. Its elements will be handed over to the exposition of the “Territory of Terror” museum.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
1,760 objects were damaged on October 25 in the Shepetivka Raion of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast as a result of a night attack by russia. Among them are multi-apartment and private buildings, educational, social, cultural and medical institutions.
The mayor of Slavuta named the amount of damage caused to the community after the night attack by russian drones the day before, October 25. These are tens of millions of hryvnias.
More than 40 people sought medical help at the Slavuta city hospital after the russian night shelling of Khmelnytskyi on October 25. Half of them are hospitalized. The day before, two victims were placed in the intensive care unit of the medical facility.
The mayor of Khmelnytskyi handed over another batch of aid to Special Forces. This time it’s special clothes. It is waterproof and resistant to low temperatures. The total cost of acquisition is almost UAH 1,5 million. The things were bought with funds from the community budget.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
Drones and motor vehicles will be handed over to military units from various regions where Kamianets residents serve. This decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the executive committee. They agreed to allocate UAH 4.1 million for cars and quadcopters equipped with thermal imagers.
Thanks to international cooperation, there are arrangements for the delivery of an ambulance equipped with special equipment and medicines for the Territorial Defense from a friendly German fund.
Chernivtsi Oblast
In Verbivtsi, the Zastavna community, a memorial plaque was opened to the fallen defender Dmytro Chaika. It was placed on the facade of the school where the soldier studied.
In January-September 2023, the Chernivtsi Oblast employment service issued vouchers for training to 445 people, 28 of whom were IDPs.
11 institutions of vocational and technical education in Bukovyna received generators as part of the EU program “EU4Skills: better skills for modern Ukraine”. The total cost of the equipment is EUR 13,772. It was handed over to vocational schools and lyceums in Chernivtsi, Hlyboka, Sokyriany, Zastavna, and Kelmentsi.
The Kamianka community once again sent a humanitarian cargo to the Zaporizhzhia Oblast for defenders and people affected by the war. This is almost 5.3 tons of products, fruits, sweets, homemade pastries, water and basic necessities.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a man who supported the russian federation and spread disinformation about events at the front was sentenced to five years in prison. He administered a pro-kremlin group on a banned social network.
Zakarpattia Oblast
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, posthumously awarded Ivan Vasylchuk, a military serviceman from the Zakarpattia Oblast with the Order “For Courage” of the III degree. The man died in May 2022 as a result of injuries received in the war.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” [Ukrainian railway company] provides women’s compartments on 4 more trains running in the direction of the Zakarpattia Oblast. They will be available from November 15.
