Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Today, as a result of repatriation activities, the Ukrainian side managed to return the bodies of 50 fallen Ukrainian defenders to the government-controlled territory.

More than 120 Kyiv medics took a training course on responding to and providing psychological assistance under stressful situations. The training was conducted by experts from the Israeli Trauma Coalition. Candidates for training are selected from among doctors who have the most frequent direct contact with patients.

A new shelter was set up at the Kyiv Oblast Oncology Center. It can accommodate more than 200 people at a time. Patients will be able to continue their treatment in 20 rooms of the shelter.

Kyiv Oblast

In Irpin, major repairs have begun on the Irpinski Lypky residential complex, which was destroyed during the offensive of the russian troops last year. The restoration is being financed by the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. UAH 605 million hryvnias were allocated for the project.

In the Desnianskyi district, Kyiv residents will be trained in national resistance. They will learn the basics of mine safety, providing first aid, and countering saboteurs.

Applications for greenhouses will be accepted from residents in Hostomel and Moschun. They will be provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross to support farmers in the war-affected areas.

Chernihiv Oblast

On October 26, russian troops shelled the Horodnia community on the border of the Chernihiv Oblast. The military recorded 20 explosions in the direction of Senkivka, which resulted, probably, from firing an automatic grenade launcher. No details have been provided.

Sumy Oblast

On October 26, the russian forces shelled the Sumy Oblast four times; 12 explosions were recorded. The Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, and Seredyna-Buda communities came under fire.

At night, the russian army shelled the Krasnopillia community with tube artillery. Two explosions were recorded.

On October 27, the police received a report about mining of all schools in the Sumy Oblast. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are working on the spot. The details are being clarified.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

The russian army hit the fire station building in Izium on the night of October 27 with two Iskander missiles. The explosions occurred before the air raid alert, so there was no time to take cover. Eight rescuers were wounded, four of them were hospitalized in moderate condition. The building’s facade, offices and garage, as well as 11 fire trucks and emergency vehicles were damaged.

Over the past day, russia conducted unsuccessful assaults near Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Chuhuiv Raion, 48 toponyms in cities, towns and villages were de-russified. The streets that were named after russian poets and writers were renamed, in particular, to Lesya Ukrainka, Volunteers, Defenders of Chuhuiv, and 92nd Detached Brigade streets.

Donetsk Oblast

On October 26, russian troops shelled three settlements in the Donetsk Oblast six times using aircraft and artillery.

One person was wounded by russian army shelling in Avdiivka on October 26. No one was killed in the Donetsk Oblast yesterday.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,753 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,276 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk sector, a house was damaged yesterday in Siversk, and another one in Pereizne of the Zvanivka community. 14 shelling attacks were recorded in the Lyman community.

In the morning, the outskirts of the Kostiantynivka community came under fire.

A resident of Sloviansk, who, according to the SBU, was passing the information on locations of checkpoints, fortifications, and strongholds of the Ukrainian troops, as well as critical infrastructure to the “dpr” militant, was served a notice of suspicion. The man faces up to 8 years in prison.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Yesterday, one person was injured in Avdiivka. In the evening, Ocheretyne came under fire. Novomykhailivka, Maksimilianivka and Kostiantynivka were shelled in the Marinka community. The outskirts of Kurakhovo came under fire.

The russian military carried out several aerial bombardments on Avdiivka on the night of October 27. There was no information about the injured or the dead, and the consequences of the shelling are also being established.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 20 russian attacks in the Avdiivka and 18 on the Marinka directions during October 26.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

A high-rise building and a garage cooperative were damaged in the Chasiv Yar community in the Horlivka direction. Rozdolivka and Vasiukivka were shelled in the Soledar community yesterday.

During October 26, the Armed Forces repelled 15 attacks in the Bakhmut direction.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar suffered nine hits from various weapons: the enemy used infantry fighting vehicles, mortars, automatic grenade launcher (AGS), Antitank Grenade Launcher (SPG), Grad MLRS and kamikaze drones. Maksimivka was shelled with artillery.

Luhansk Oblast

The russian occupiers are forcibly deporting the residents of Berezove in the Luhansk Oblast to the borders with the russian federation in order to create a military town. Homes of locals are bought for nothing. Civilians are prohibited from entering the settlement.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

At night, from October 26 to 27, the Mykolaiv Oblast was attacked by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Shahed 131/136” type. Two of them were destroyed by means of the air defense forces.

On the night of October 27, enemy UAVs of the “Shahed 131/136” type struck outside the city of Voznesensk. The impact caused a fire. There were no casualties.

An explosion was recorded in Oblast during the day. The information is being clarified.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army fired 133 times on the towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast during the day, October 26.

Six reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. There were no casualties.

A peaceful picket was held in Zaporizhzhia for the right to demobilize the military after 18 months of service. Wives, girls, children, mothers of soldiers who have been in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and at the front for more than a year and a half have gathered in front of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration.

Thanks to the efforts of the regional authorities, local self-government bodies and charitable organizations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received two more cars. Ten generators also went to the front.

Zaporizhzhia City Council ordered the dismantling of the monument to Alexander Pushkin from Vernadskyi Maidan (former Pushkin Square).

Odesa Oblast

Odesa received five ambulances from Vienna. The ambulance will be transferred to the Odesa Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine.

Two medical institutions in Odesa received powerful Japanese-made generators. This became possible thanks to the support and cooperation of the governments of Japan and Slovakia, the ADRA Foundation and the Ambassador of Odesa to the Slovak Republic Oleksandr Roitburg. The generators will serve the hospitals, which work around the clock.

Kherson Oblast

Yesterday, the russian army fired 500 shells in the Kherson Oblast, 33 in Kherson. They hit a medical institution, a cultural center, an educational institution, and a post office in the Beryslav Raion. One person died, two were injured.

During the day, the russian aviation directed 36 guided aerial bombs to the right bank of the Kherson Oblast.

In the evening, the russian military with artillery and tanks shelled the coastal areas and the center of the city of Kherson. There is no information about the dead and wounded.

The russian army attacked a residential building in Zelenivka of the Kherson region. During the rescue operation, employees of the State Emergency Service found the body of a man. His identity is being established.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast, it is impossible to get medical services without a passport of the russian federation and a pseudo-policy of mandatory medical insurance. Doctors on the left bank are in short supply and the services they provide are very limited.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

A private house, a car and a power line were damaged as a result of shelling by the troops of the Pokrovsk and Marganets communities on the night of October 27. Heavy artillery hit populated areas. Two dozen shells were fired. There are no casualties or injuries.

A 5-year-old boy and a 58-year-old woman were injured as a result of shelling in Nikopol on the afternoon of October 27. They are in the hospital in a moderate condition. Ten private houses were damaged. One farm building was destroyed, another 13 were gutted. 20 solar panels, cars, power lines were mutilated.

Kirovohrad Oblast

According to the Security Service of Ukraine counter-intelligence materials, 11 traitors, 30 enemy propagandists and 14 collaborators were exposed in the Kirovohrad Oblast since the beginning of this year, and six convictions for treason were handed down. Five fire adjusters who launched enemy missile strikes on important military facilities, defense and oil refining enterprises, check points and electrical substations were detained and brought to justice.

In Kropyvnytskyi, in the “Zatyshno space” during psychotherapy, VR helmets are used to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. The project was developed by the Ukrainian startup Aspichi, which develops innovative technologies in virtual reality. A team of researchers, scientists and psychologists worked on the creation of the psychological rehabilitation program.

Poltava Oblast

The unmanned aircraft complex was handed over to the Poltava Army Aviation Brigade. Currently, the military is learning to work with the complex. It was bought with money from a fundraising company, which was announced at the beginning of September by the team of the YouTube channel “Television Toronto”. Vinnytsia Oblast

To allocate additional funds for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to ban the public use of russian-language products in the community and to become a participant in the experimental project of the Ministry of Infrastructure – such decisions were made by Vinnytsia City Council deputies at the session on October 27.

Internally displaced persons living in Vinnytsia joined in writing the all-Ukrainian radio dictation. They gathered in the “YaMariupol” center.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

The first thousand pairs of socks were collected and sent to fighters as part of the “Socks for Victory 2.0” campaign. Volunteers and educational institutions joined the cause. From October 16 to December 6, the goal is to collect at least five thousand pairs.

Lviv Oblast

An anonymous report was received about the mining of the Lviv Oblast Military Administration. All employees were evacuated from the building. Explosive technicians are working on the spot.

230 relocated businesses and 5,000 saved jobs – this is the summary of the mass relocation of enterprises to the Lviv Oblast. According to these indicators, the oblast is the first in Ukraine.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

In Khmelnytskyi, an action is taking place on Maidan Nezalezhnosti for the demobilization of military personnel after 18 months of service. About 30 people gathered for it.

Representatives of the respectable [elderly] council of the Dunaivtsi community, the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, are people over 60 years of age. Starting from 2022, they are engaged in the production of trench candles and protective nets for the military.

Classes at the Khmelnytskyi University of the Third Age have already begun for the sixth time. Compared to last year, the number of listeners has doubled. Among them are IDPs. Students of a respectable age master new disciplines, learn languages and engage in creativity.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Resident of the village of Verenchanka, defender Natalia Choban was awarded the national recognition “Pride and Glory of Ukraine”.

According to materials of the Security Service of Ukraine, a woman from Bukovyna was convicted for publicly spreading anti-Ukrainian content in the banned social network “Odnoklassniki”. The perpetrator is a 54-year-old native of russia. She has been living in the Chernivtsi Oblast for a long time and has Ukrainian citizenship.

Residents of the village of Dynivtsi sent another shipment to the front line: a set of wheels for special equipment, winter tires for transport, warm blankets, socks, food, fruit, various sweets, and water.

The Chernivtsi Oblast Military Administration held a one-day training on the topic “Communication with military personnel, veterans and their family members during the provision of administrative services”. It was attended by representatives of the Centers for the provision of administrative services of the Chernivtsi Oblast. In particular, they gained new knowledge and also learned practical skills for the prevention of emotional burnout.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Ternopil Oblast

Clergymen of five denominations wrote the Radiodictator of National Unity in Ternopil. These are representatives of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Ukrainian Church of Evangelical Christians, the Ukrainian Lutheran Church, and the Roman Catholic Church. The event was held in a bomb shelter.

In the breaks between battles in the Donetsk region, fighters paint cartridges. They are handed over to volunteers who help 67 separate mechanized brigades.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Fighters of the 128th separate Zakarpattia Mountain Assault Brigade joined the radio dictation of national unity in the field. The text was written in the field – in an area where the combat situation allowed and the Internet caught.

The final was held and the winners of the seventh competition of startup projects “Startup – Uzhhorod National University: Innovations for the Future!” were announced. Students, graduate students and young scientists under the age of 35 presented their projects and fought for victory in the competition. Out of 12 projects, 10 were selected.
