Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The European Parliament will open an office in Kyiv. This is expected to facilitate relations with the Ukrainian parliament, in particular, to influence its communication with the relevant committees of the European Parliament, as well as to facilitate administrative work.
The First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Major General Volodymyr Kydon, presented the orders “For Courage” and “Bohdan Khmelnytskyi” to the families of fallen soldiers from the Svyatoshynskyi district of the capital.
Kyiv Oblast
On the night of November 22, russian troops attacked the Kyiv Oblast with attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed all targets. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage.
Today, explosive devices were eliminated in the Bucha Raion. And explosive works were carried out at the Shamray granite deposit in the Bila Tserkva Raion. They are related to technological processes.
Zhytomyr Oblast
At night, during an air raid alert, the air defense forces shot down two kamikaze drones over the Zhytomyr Oblast. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries due to the falling debris.
President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, awarded the Zhytomyr 95th Detached Airborne Assault Brigade the honorary name “Polissia”. From now on, the full name of the brigade will be as follows: 95th Detached Polissia Airborne Assault Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Chernihiv Oblast
The russians shelled six border villages of the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars and launched a kamikaze drone.
France provided two million euros for the repair of ten schools In Chernihiv. With this money, they plan to repair shelters and buildings, upgrade the water supply systems, equip hygiene rooms, insulate buildings, restore roofs, replace windows and doors, and build ramps. The work is to be completed by the end of 2024.
Sumy Oblast
During the day, the russian military launched 101 attacks on the Sumy Oblast. Six communities in the oblast came under fire.
Last night, the air defense forces destroyed another drone in the Sumy sector.
In the morning, the russian army shelled the Yunakivka community in the Sumy Oblast with MLRS. Five explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
The russian army hit the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk Raion with a guided aerial bomb, damaging a house.
Over the course of the day, settlements in the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions were under shelling attacks by the russian federation.
The defense forces repelled three attacks in the Kupiansk sector. The russian military carried out assaults in the areas of Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka.
Donetsk Oblast
Over the past day, on November 21, russians fired 9 times at the civilian population of the Donetsk Oblast.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,776 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,326. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
In the Lysychansk sector, Siversk and Serebrianka were shelled yesterday.
There are currently no plans to set up a Christmas tree in Kramatorsk this year, primarily because of the danger of russian shelling.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the Donetsk sector, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, and Novoselivka Persha were shelled in the Ocheretyne community. The private sector of Kurakhove came under fire.
Avdiivka came under a missile attack at night and artillery fire in the morning. Houses and the territory of the hospital were damaged.
The body of the second victim was recovered from the rubble of the hospital in Selydove. Search operations at the site of the missile attack are ongoing.
In the Maryinka sector, the weather did not affect the intensity of fighting. Over the past week, the occupiers stormed the Ukrainian military more than 150 times and inflicted about 300 kamikaze drone strikes.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
Three private houses, two non-residential structures and an industrial building were damaged in the Horlivka direction in the Chasiv Yar community. In the Toretsk community, three houses were damaged in the North.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion
In the Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar and Novoukrainka came under fire.
Luhansk Oblast
In the surviving schools of Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers are trying to conduct distance learning. In Rubizhne, children do not have such a right, because, for example, in one of the educational buildings, the invaders set up a military hospital. There is nowhere to come once a week and get assignments for schoolchildren.
The Sievierodonetsk community approved the procedure for providing material assistance to participants in hostilities during the period of martial law in Ukraine in 2023.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On the night of November 22, the water area of the city of Ochakiv was hit by russian artillery fire. There are no casualties or injuries.
The Mykolaiv 79th Airborne Assault Brigade was named “Tavriiska”.
The former front-line village of Vysunsk, in Mykolaiv Oblast, is being rebuilt after russian strikes. Shelling damaged the houses of local residents and infrastructure, in particular, a school and a kindergarten.
In the Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukrainian carmakers create combat vehicles to support the Defense Forces. Passenger cars are transformed into combat vehicles designed for various tasks, including the evacuation of the wounded and the transportation of ammunition.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
russian military personnel struck the Zaporizhzhia Oblast with all types of weapons. 150 strikes were recorded on 23 settlements. Civilians were not injured, but infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged. 35 reports of destruction were received.
Yesterday evening, the russian military launched a missile attack on one of the districts of the city of Zaporizhzhia. Information about the dead and injured has not yet been received. The blast wave damaged 31 private houses. During the night, specialists sewed up the broken windows with OSB sheets. Currently, the work continues.
At night, during the enemy’s attack, the Kh-22 cruise missile failed to reach its target, fell in the open area in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and private houses were damaged by the blast wave. There are no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the russian military conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Robotyne and Kamianske raions.
Odesa Oblast
On November 21, air defense units shot down a reconnaissance-strike UAV “Mohajer-6” on its way to Odesa over the Black Sea.
Specialists have calculated the damages from the attack of the russian federation with “Iskander” ballistic missiles on October 30 at the ship repair plant in Odesa. The amount is more than UAH 269 million. The total amount of littered areas is more than two thousand square meters.
Ten modular houses for displaced people were installed in Odesa. In total, it is planned to place up to 30 houses for displaced people who work in city communal institutions at this location.
Kherson Oblast
The army of the russian federation shelled the Kherson Oblast 115 times yesterday. The projectiles hit a factory building, an educational institution, a dormitory, and a store in the Beryslav Raion, as well as an office building in Kherson. One person died, seven were injured.
Yesterday, on the way out of Beryslav, the russian army used a drone to attack an ambulance that was returning back. There is damage, the medics were not injured.
More than 200 children remain in 23 settlements of the Kherson Oblast, which are considered dangerous due to constant shelling. Previously, it was possible to evacuate 573 children and their families.
A resident of Henichesk of the Kherson Oblast, is suspected of collaborationism. She voluntarily assumed the so-called position of “minister of education of the region”, planned events aimed at popularizing the russian federation and gave comments to the propaganda media. The prosecutor’s office declared her a suspect.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
As a result of the russian evening shelling of the Nikopol Raion, men aged 61 and 37 were injured. During the night, the russian army hit the area four times with heavy artillery.
8 private houses, a garage, a car, and a gas line were damaged. More than 1,200 families were left without electricity due to damaged power lines. The russian troops also hit the Marganets community. There were no casualties or injuries.
A russian drone was shot down by air defense in the sky over the Synelnykove Raion on the evening of November 21. And on the night of November 22, the military shot down two UAVs of the “Shahed” type. They were destroyed over the Synelnykove and Kamianske raions.
In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a donkey that lost part of a limb due to a shrapnel wound was given prosthetics. The bloodied animal was taken from Siversk by the military.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Mobile fire groups are being created in the Kirovohrad Oblast to combat the drones that the russian army is using to attack Ukraine. Mobile groups will protect critical infrastructure and the territory of the oblast. More than UAH 200,000 were collected in Kropyvnytskyi for the purchase of one of the machines for such brigades.
Poltava Oblast
Participant of the Revolution of Dignity and fallen war hero Anatolii Karban from the Poltava Oblast was awarded the order. The defender died in the spring of 2023 near Avdiivka. Since 2014, the teacher, deputy and soldier has been involved in volunteering, burials of fallen country heroes and traveled to the East. The state honored the defender’s feat with a posthumous Order “For Courage” of the III degree.
The Dykanka community, the Poltava Oblast, got rid of the merged street names. Now the streets and alleys will bear the names of Stepan Bandera, Olena Pchilka, Mykhailo Hrushevskyi and other famous figures. Another of the streets was named after the Kochubeys, a Cossack family and owners of the palace in Dykanka.
Vinnytsia Oblast
In Vinnytsia, the Mohyliv-Podilskyi colony is being turned into a camp for russian prisoners of war. The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 3.2 million for the establishment of the institution.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
“Points of Invincibility” are resuming work in the Lviv Oblast. They will work in educational, health care and cultural institutions in such a way as not to interfere with the work of the institution. In schools, they will be open only after the end of school hours.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
As a result of the air defense operation in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down, the debris fell on the yard of a private household in the Khmelnytskyi Raion. A commercial non-residential building was damaged there. There were no injuries.
The “Gift to a Warrior” campaign was started in Khmelnytskyi by volunteers of the public organization “Protection-Union of Volunteers”. The goodies are gathering for the New Year holidays.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Defender, volunteer, entrepreneur and deputy of the Chernivtsi Oblast Council Borys Kolisnyk was awarded the honorary award “For services to Bukovyna”. He joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense in February 2022. Currently, the man continues to serve in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is located in the Bakhmut Raion.
A professional and creative development center has opened in the Velykyi Kuchuriv community. Sewing and carpentry workshops were set up there so that children could acquire professional skills. This is the first of 12 centers planned to open in Bukovyna.
Fifty employees of the Chernivtsi Oblast Clinical Hospital donated blood for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
On the facade of the lyceum in the village of Kryvorivnia, the Verkhovyna Raion, a memorial plaque to the combat medic of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” Hanna Hrymaliuk and a memorial corner “Heroes of our region” were opened.

Zakarpattia Oblast
The State Border Service of Ukraine refuted the fake about the mining of the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. A video began to appear on the Internet, where a person in a military uniform with a covered face, who calls himself a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, claims that he received an order to mine the territories near the border with Hungary. This video is being circulated on various platforms with the thesis that mining is being carried out to stop border violators or Hungarian troops.
A working meeting was held in the city council within the framework of the project “Ensuring public safety through the cooperation of law enforcement agencies and the use of advanced video surveillance systems in Uzhhorod and Satu-Mare “Safe Cities”. Thanks to the sister cities project, 38 more cameras were installed in Uzhhorod.
The Zakarpattia Territorial Center of Emergency Medical Care was given 10 new modern emergency ambulances, purchased with the funds of the state budget. 35 ambulances have been deployed at the facility over the past two years, so new ambulances are critically needed for the oblast.
In the office of the Public Organization “Movement to Support the Zakarpattia Military”, volunteers together with a psychologist met soldiers who are being treated in Uzhhorod after being wounded. They also prepared a joint viewing of a documentary film about the history of Ukraine.
As part of the national tour “Cinema for Victory!”, the organizers of the project presented the largest Ukrainian film “Dovbush” to the attention of the border guards of the Chop detachment. The border guards were also shown a trailer for the “Culture against War” project. To date, the tour has covered almost 1,000 film screenings in 18 oblasts of Ukraine.
