Northern oblasts
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, russian troops shelled 12 border villages in the Chernihiv Oblast. An outbuilding caught fire. No casualties have been reported.
Sumy Oblast
During the day, five children in the Velyka Pysarivka community in the Sumy Oblast were wounded in shelling from the territory of the russian federation. One resident of the Myropillia community was injured as a result of mortar shelling. In total, russian troops opened fire on 14 communities in the oblast. As many as 383 explosions were recorded.
Last night a Shahed hit an apartment building in Sumy. Two people have been reported dead. Ten people were rescued from under the rubble, eight of whom sustained injuries of varying severity. Up to 50 apartments were damaged, about 20 of them were completely destroyed and are beyond repair.
On the night of February 13, the Air Defense Forces destroyed two russian Shahed UAVs in the sky over the Sumy Oblast.
At night and in the morning of March 13, the russian army shelled the Sumy Oblast 18 times. A total of 64 explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
On March 12, up to 20 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast came under russian artillery and mortar fire.
In particular, Vovchansk was shelled three times. The shelling destroyed a veterinary clinic building and a residential house.
The hits were recorded in Podoly in the Kupiansk Raion and in Balaklia. No one was wounded.
Over the past 24 hours, russians dropped aerial bombs on 6 settlements.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops observe intensified assault activities by the russian occupiers. Approximately 700 to 800 artillery attacks were registered over the last day.
This day, russia attacked Vovchansk with a guided aerial bomb. A two-story building was damaged, with people possibly trapped under the rubble.
Donetsk Oblast
Yesterday, the russian occupiers shelled the residential quarters of the Donetsk Oblast 17 times. In total, they inflicted 1,665 hits across the region. Shelling damaged 118 civilian objects, including 80 residential buildings.
On March 12, russian shelling in the Donetsk Oblast left two people dead, and another 11 residents of the oblast were injured.
The Ukrainian military repelled 66 enemy attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. 52 battles took place in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On the night of March 12, the russian military shelled an apartment building in the city of Myrnohrad. Two people died, five were injured. Four more high-rise buildings and cars were damaged.
Mariupol
Representatives of the so-called military committees will be on duty at the polling stations in occupied Mariupol. They will collect information about conscripts.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
During March 12, the russian army attacked the coastal communities of the Mykolaiv Oblast three times. As a result of the hits, houses were damaged, there were no casualties or injuries.
With the help of special vehicles, sappers of the State Emergency Service demined more than 47 hectares of land in the Mykolaiv Oblast.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
405 strikes were carried out by the russian army on 11 towns and villages of the Zaporizhia Oblasts during the day, March 12. In particular, it shelled 5 settlements 304 times with artillery, and also used anti-aircraft missiles and 92 drones.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Armad Forces of Ukraine repelled 12 attacks by the russian army, in particular, west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Odesa Oblast
In the morning, the Odesa Oblast was attacked by a guided air missile. The ammunition fired from the tactical aircraft was destroyed by air defense forces over the sea.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, russian troops shelled 15 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. Eight high-rise buildings, two private houses, an administrative building, and agricultural machinery were damaged. Three people were injured.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Yesterday evening, three missile hits were recorded in Kryvyi Rih. One hit a high-rise building. Eight people are in serious condition, including three children. Another 13 are in moderate condition, including six children. The smallest injured one is not even a year old. This is a 2-month-old boy and an 11-month-old girl. In total, 43 people were injured as a result of the impact, five people died. About 20 high-rise buildings, two kindergartens, a school, and an enterprise were damaged in the city. There are some damaged cars.
March 14 in Kryvyi Rih is a day of mourning for those who died as a result of the March 12 attack.
Poltava Oblast
It is planned to erect a memorial to those who died in the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug, which was fired upon by the russian military in 2022. Then a russian missile killed 22 people.
Western oblasts
Lviv Oblast
Polish farmers continue to block roads in the direction of five checkpoints. In three of them “Yagodin-Dorogusk”, “Shehyny-Medyka” and “Uhryniv-Dolgobychuv” not a single truck crossed the border to Poland during the past day.
