Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
Today Kyiv received 3 Mercedes Citaro city buses from Ukrainian benefactors. They were purchased in Germany by the “Kyivpasservis” company and presented to the city. These buses are in good technical condition and will soon be on Kyiv routes.
On Khreshchatyk in Kyiv, preparations are being made for a “parade” of destroyed russian equipment: burned tanks, armored vehicles, self-propelled howitzers, trucks and other equipment are placed on the road. Traffic on Khreschatyk Street is partially blocked.
The final stage of the “Kyiv Unbreakable” competition for servicemen and veterans took place in the capital. More than 250 participants took part in the sports tests.
Kyiv Oblast
More than 7,000 objects have already been restored in the Bucha raion. Restoration work began immediately after de-occupation. 7,266 objects have already been restored, including 6,352 housing stock. The number of injured as a result of a russian rocket attack on the center of Chernihiv on August 19 increased to 181, of whom seven died. 41 people are in the hospital, among them four are in serious condition, and another 16 people underwent surgery.
Military forces of Chernihiv Oblast take revenge on the russians for the missile attack on Chernihiv. Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, published a photo of the projectiles with the corresponding inscriptions on his Telegram channel.
Due to the possible danger of rocket attacks on August 23-24, no mass events will be held in Chernihiv Oblast.
Sumy Oblast

Kharkiv Oblast
This morning, the enemy shelled the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Chuguyiv raion. The educational institution was damaged. Information about the victims is being established.
Yesterday, throughout the day, the enemy continuously shelled Kupyansk with artillery. Settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raion of the Oblast were also under the fire of the occupiers.
As a result of the shelling of the center of Kupyansk, 11 civilians were injured. Including an “ambulance” paramedic who provided assistance to the injured. In the city, private houses, enterprise buildings, the branch of “Nova Poshta”, the building of an educational institution, and other civilian objects were damaged.
A 71-year-old man died in the city of Vovchansk, Chuguyiv raion, due to enemy shelling. In the city, a private house, an apartment in an apartment building, and a building of a healthcare facility were damaged.

Luhansk Oblast

Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday, August 20, and tonight, August 21, the enemy fired from artillery and MLRS at the settlements of the Kutsurub community. As a result of shelling in one of the settlements, a fire broke out in an outbuilding on the territory of an enterprise with an area of 200 square meters. There were no casualties.
Also at night, August 21, the water area of the city of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community came under enemy fire. There were no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk,and Bashtanka Raions, the day and night were relatively calm.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Over the past day, russians fired 92 times at the towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. One person was killed and two were wounded.

At the initiative of the Odesa City Council of Large Families and in partnership with the ”Profident Clinic”, humanitarian aid in the form of food packages was distributed to socially vulnerable people.
The enemy has increased the presence of missile launchers in the Black Sea. In addition to the submarine, a small missile ship was launched. Accordingly, the number of “Kalibr” missiles has been increased to 12.
Kherson Oblast
During the day, rescuers extinguished six fires in the settlements of Bilozerka, Stanislavka, and Kherson communities, five of which were caused by russian shelling.

On the afternoon of August 21, the russians shelled Zolota Balka in the Kherson Oblast. The wounded 43-year-old man was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds to the chest, abdomen, and legs.
No events will be held on Independence Day in Kherson and the Oblast, there will be no mass gatherings of people.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

A new public center «Space, friendly to children, youth and families» was opened in Chernivtsi. It is designed to help children, especially those who moved here because of the war, to adapt and integrate, to receive psychosocial support. For this purpose, professional teachers and psychologists will conduct various classes, both individual and group, master classes, as well as seminars and training for parents.
