Northern oblasts
Kyiv
“Do not be silent! Captivity kills!”: another rally in support of prisoners of war was held in Kyiv. According to the organizers, about two thousand Azovstal defenders, including almost 700 Azov fighters, are currently being held in russian captivity. Similar rallies took place in a number of oblast centers across the country.
Kyiv Oblast
Ian Borg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta and current OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, visited the affected communities of Hostomel, Bucha, and Borodianka in the Kyiv Oblast. He met with residents of the communities to express solidarity with them and condolences for the atrocities they had suffered.
Almost 17 thousand buildings and structures damaged as a result of hostilities have been restored in the Kyiv Oblast. However, the enemy continues to attack the oblast. Therefore, the number of damaged facilities is growing – more than 29 thousand such facilities have been registered to date.
Zhytomyr Oblast
A mother of many children, Olena Polonets from Zhytomyr, has been sewing pillows for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a year. She sent the first one to her husband, a serviceman. Her five children help raise money to buy the fabric and materials, and they also sell the volunteer’s wicker toys at school fairs.
Chernihiv Oblast
Over the past day, the russian army shelled two border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars.
Sumy Oblast
Over the past day, the russian army shelled the Sumy Oblast 16 times. 76 explosions were recorded.
On February 3, on the outskirts of the Hlukhiv community, the territorial defense fighters stopped a russian subversive and reconnaissance group.
On the night of February 4, the russian army fired a mortar at the Seredyna-Buda community. Four explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
A 26-year-old resident of Hryhorivka, Kupiansk Raion, was wounded today when russians hit the village with what is believed to be two guided aerial bombs. The windows and roofs of two private houses were damaged.
Donetsk Oblast
On February 3, the russian army shelled eight settlements in the Donetsk Oblast 12 times. In particular, the russian troops carried out five air strikes on Avdiivka, hit Hrodivka with Smerch MRLS, Maksymilianivka with artillery, and Pokrovsk with a missile.
One person was wounded in Maksymilianivka by the shelling of the russian military on February 3. There were no fatalities.
Ukrainian soldiers repelled 51 russian attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Shakhtar and Marinka areas. The russian military carried out the most attacks in the Avdiivka direction.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
Today, the russian army shelled Toretsk with artillery. At least one person was killed and two were wounded.
russian troops have approached the city of Chasiv Yar by 5-7 kilometers and are firing artillery at the settlement. The enemy aims to capture Chasiv Yar and reach the borders of the Donetsk Oblast.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
On February 3, the russian army struck the settlements of the Kutsurub community in the Mykolaiv Oblast. Shelling was also recorded in the water area and in the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community.
In Mykolaiv, relatives of prisoners and missing persons of various units and branches of the military organized a peaceful rally.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Today, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, visited the advanced positions of Ukrainian defenders in the area of the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. He visited the location of the 65th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he talked with the soldiers and presented them with state awards.
The occupiers hit 22 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 104 strikes were recorded.
Six reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. There were no casualties.
A cat cafe appeared in Zaporizhzhia, where animals from the frontline areas were sheltered. Currently, five cats live here. Everyone has their own story. In this way, the owners of the facility provide shelter to the animals and look for new families for them.
Kherson Oblast
Over the past day, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 37 times, firing 92 shells from various types of weapons. There are no casualties or injuries.
Yesterday afternoon, the russian army carried out airstrikes with guided bombs on Chervony Maiak and Zmiivka in the Kherson Oblast. Explosives were also dropped from drones in Sofiivka.
Over the course of a week, sappers defused 693 explosive objects in the Kherson Oblast. They checked and demined the territory with an area of 2306 hectares.
Today, the army of the russian federation attacked a village in the Bilozirka community of the Kherson Oblast. As a result of the impact of a russian projectile, a residential building caught fire.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the night of February 4, the russian army shelled Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with artillery. There are no injured or dead.
Volunteers of the “Proliska” humanitarian mission have resumed evacuation trips from the Donetsk Oblast to Dnipro since January. You can leave for free from Kurakhovo and Toretsk, there is a special car for the wounded and sick.
Vinnytsia Oblast
355 enterprises relocated to the Vinnytsia community from various Oblasts since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. At the new location, more than 80% of the entrepreneurs set up work and employed 1,739 residents of Vinnytsia and immigrants.
Western Oblasts
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Another evacuation train arrived this morning from Kherson to Khmelnytskyi. At the platform, forcibly displaced people are helped by psychologists of the State Emergency Service and volunteers of the Red Cross.
Zakarpattia Oblast
In Ukraine, on the basis of the legendary aerial reconnaissance unit “Birds of Madyar”, military officer from Zakarpattia, Robert Brodiv, created a separate combat military unit – 414 separate battalion of unmanned attack aircraft systems of the Marine Corps.
Zakarpattia is the leader among the country’s Oblasts in terms of the number of newly created industries. New furniture factories, woodworking enterprises, production of electronics, aluminum pipes, cognac factory and others were opened here.
