Kyiv

Kyiv Oblast

Zhytomyr Oblast

Junior sergeant Andriy Hryshchenko from the village of Meleni, Irshansk territorial community, Korosten Raion, Zhytomyr Oblast, fell in the battles near Bakhmut. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Zhytomyr Oblast has suffered 103 missile and bomb strikes by the russians, which damaged or completely destroyed 3,350 buildings and structures. Mr. Bunechko noted that in the near future residents of the Zhytomyr Oblast, whose homes were damaged or completely destroyed as a result of enemy shelling, would be able to receive compensation from the State.

Chernihiv Oblast

Today, russians shelled the Semenivka community near the village of Tymonovychi. The military reported six hits, probably from a 120-caliber mortar.

Today in Nizhyn, they said goodbye to two fighters who were killed in action in Donbas: Serhiy Savchenko and Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi.

Another bridge donated by our French partners has been put into operation in Staryi Bilous. This is the second of three bridges provided by France to be installed on local roads. The bridge has already been opened for traffic. It is a 42-meter-long metal structure with a wooden decking. The bridge can support vehicles weighing up to 18 tons.

Sumy Oblast

Yesterday, russians shelled eight communities in the Sumy Oblast. 7 hits were recorded in the Bilopillia community, and 26 hits in the settlements of the Yunakivka community during the day. Russians dropped 9 mines on the Myropillia community. 23 hits thundered during the day in the Esman community. The Krasnopillia community was also shelled with mortars, 4 hits in total. 10 hits were recorded in the territory of the Hlukhiv community, and 18 hits in the Shalyhyne community.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv Oblast

Last day, the enemy shelled at least 17 border settlements of the Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, and Kharkiv raions of the oblast.

At night, the occupiers attacked the village of Monachynivka in the Kupiansk Raion. The village club building was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Vovchansk of the Chuhuiv Raion suffered the most from shelling. There, at least 6 residential buildings, storefronts of trade pavilions and shops, buildings of a civil industry facility, and the administration building of “Ukrtelecom” were damaged over the last day.

In Kupiansk, in the village of Dvorichna and the surrounding villages, private and multi-apartment residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

Yesterday, a 46-year-old employee of the Kharkivoblenergo company hit a Butterfly anti-personnel land mine near the village of Nova Husarivka. He was hospitalized in serious condition.

Donetsk Oblast

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka sectors. It suffers significant losses. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking additional measures to strengthen their defense.

Over the past day, units of our soldiers repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Fedorivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Vodiane, Maryinka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk Oblast.
In the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors, the areas of the settlements, which are close to the line of contact, came under tank, mortar and artillery fire. These include Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva of the Donetsk Oblast.

In the Lysychansk sector, 1 person was killed in Stavky of the Lyman community. In Lyman, 1 person was wounded, and 3 houses were damaged. During the night, explosions thundered in Siversk and the outskirts of the community.

On February 13, the russians killed 1 resident of the Donetsk Oblast — in Stavky. 3 more people in the oblast were wounded.
Since February 24, the russians have killed 1,360 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,038. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk

The russians hit the city again. A health care facility was chosen as a target again. Fortunately, no one was injured except for the property.

The city was covered in snow overnight, but communal services promptly started cleaning. Thanks to operational actions, traffic was not impeded.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk Oblast, the night passed relatively calmly: isolated shelling of Avdiivka was recorded. In the Marinka community, Marinka and the village of Kostiantynivka were under fire, in the Kurakhove community, the industrial zone in Kurakhove and the warehouse zone in Hirnyk were targeted.

Due to the threat of shelling from the russian side and the extremely unstable situation in the Donetsk Oblast, the leadership of the Pokrovsk city military administration recommends residents to evacuate to safer regions, where places are being set up for the resettlement of IDPs. One of these is a residential building in Fastiv of the Kyiv Oblast. Currently, its transformation is actively underway to accommodate residents of Pokrovsk territorial community, who will show a desire to secure their lives and leave the borders of their hometown. The Kimonix company, which acts on behalf of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the framework of the memorandum concluded with the Pokrovsk City Military Administration, is helping to furnish housing.

1,000 humanitarian kits were delivered to the Pokrovsk community from the American organization Global Empowerment Mission. The cargo was divided equally into two starosta districts. They are the Novotroitske and Novoyelyzavetivka districts. Each set is designed for two weeks for a family of up to five people and contains cereals, pasta, canned goods, hygiene products (soap, shampoo, wet wipes, etc.).

The American organization GEM, with the support of the Howard G. BUFFETT Foundation, is not the first to provide assistance to the residents of the Pokrovsk community. Volunteers of the NGO “Quality of Life Foundation” help the benefactors to deliver the humanitarian cargo. Cooperation with the Global Empowerment Mission became possible thanks to the active work of the Humanitarian Headquarters of Pokrovsk territorial community, which is constantly finding new reliable partners to support the residents of the community.

Volnovakha

In the Volnovakha direction, one person was wounded in Vuhledar, under shelling from Novoukrainka and Bohoyavlenka.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Bakhmut direction, areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Vesele, Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Bakhmut, Oleksandro-Shultine, Ozarianivka, Diliivka and Maiorsk in the Donetsk Oblast were hit by mortar and artillery fire.

In the Horlivka direction, one person was injured in Shcherbynivka of the Toretsk community, two houses were damaged in Vasiukivka of the Soledar community and a high-rise building in Bakhmut.

Mariupol

The occupiers continue to destroy the captured city. Whole blocks of houses are demolished. Not paying attention to the fact that the bodies of Mariupol citizens killed by them are lying there. Together with the concrete fragments, they throw them into the trash or recycle them.

South oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy fired at the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In the morning, the settlement of the Ochakiv community was under artillery and mortar shelling. As a result, residential buildings were damaged and caught fire, and several administrative buildings were also damaged. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

Kherson Oblast

On February 12 , the russian army shelled the settlements of six communities of the Berislav Raion. Among them are Osokorivka, Mykhailivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Mylove, Kachkarivka and Tiahynka. Residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged.

On February 13, the russian army shelled the settlements of five communities of the Berislav Raion. The hospital building, residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged.

Today, the army of the russian federation shelled the carriageway of one of the regional roads. Also, one of the medical facilities was damaged, there were no casualties or injuries.

In Beryslav, an ambulance station came under fire from the russian army. The station building and official cars were damaged. The driver of the “ambulance” was injured, reported the Kherson Oblast military Administration..

200 russian guardsmen arrived on the left bank of the Kherson Oblast in order to strengthen counter-sabotage measures. They were resettled on the territory of the “Chaika” recreation center in Lazurne.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The russian army shelled Nikopol. Two industrial enterprises, three private houses, cars, power lines, farm buildings were damaged. A 68-year-old man was injured.

The enemy used a reconnaissance drone and several balloons with corner reflectors. Anti-aircraft defense worked on the enemy drone. Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, commented on the use of bullet tactics by the russians. According to him, it is possible that the enemy wants to exhaust Ukrainian air defense or has other goals.

On the front line near Bakhmut, a soldier from Novomoskovsk, Yuriy Vetkov, and a rifleman Yuriy Kumaranskyi from Kryvyi Rih were killed. 28-year-old Serhii Lemeshko from Pokrovsk was killed near Yampolivka. 26-year-old senior sergeant Ruslan Verbytsky from Pishchanka was killed near Kramatorsk. 42-year-old Vyacheslav Ivanov from Radushne and 47-year-old sergeant Oleksandr Tiutiunnyk from Pokrov passed away. More than 700 residents of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have applied to the “Offensive Guard” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Registration points have been operating in nine Administrative Service Centres of the Oblast since February 1. These units will liberate Ukrainian territories from russian invaders.

Residents of Kryvyi Rih have registered a petition in which they propose to rename several streets and a park, the names of which are associated with the russian federation. Residents of Pavlograd are offered to choose new names for five streets.

Poltava Oblast

Then Karaya destroyed 5 Iranian drones, but due to damage to the aircraft, he was forced to eject. “No matter how many years pass, no matter how many stars he grows to, and no matter how many times he flies, but every year on October 12, something inside is bound to touch.” Already in February, Karaya will return to combat aircraft and continue to defend the skies of Ukraine.

In Poltava Oblast, there will be an inspection of the issuance of disability certificates, which allow to avoid mobilization. The authorities paid attention to reports of an increase in the issuance of such certificates.

In Poltava, a new distribution of electricity consumers into 6 phases was approved. It can be introduced as early as February 14. The schedule will reduce the duration of outages. It covers 90.5% of Poltava Oblast consumers, and each phase will reach 72 MW of consumption.

38 hectares of land in Zaturyn near Poltava will be given for a cemetery.

Such a request was prepared by the utility company in order to increase the area of the already existing cemetery. With the beginning of a full-scale war, the Alley of Heroes was created there. Lack of land for burials is one of the problems of cemeteries today. Vacant areas are continuously decreasing.

In Poltava, teachers of an art school paint shell casings to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They started doing it three weeks ago. Finished products will be sold at auctions by volunteers. The collected funds will be transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian military.

Kirovohrad Oblast

There was a threat of a missile strike on populated areas and critical infrastructure facilities in Kirovohrad Oblast.

Servicemen of the Territorial Defense of the Kirovohrad Oblast showed how they improve their combat skills. This is reported on the official page of the 121st separate Territorial Defense brigade. “We are improving combat skills, because this is the key to success and victory! Servicemen of 121 separate Territorial Defense brigade train daily and improve the skills they have already acquired. Hold the ranks!” – the message says.

The volunteer team of the oblast military administration, together with the Acted and “Save Ukrainians” charitable foundations, delivered another humanitarian cargo to the Kharkiv Oblast. Residents of Izium were brought the most necessary things – generators, heaters, power banks, food and water.

On February 14, a patriotic photo session “Heart with you” was held at the Tourist Information Center in Kropyvnytskyi. Women whose husbands are in the war zone were photographed here. Each woman brought one attribute that characterizes her husband. The photo will then be sent to the men at the front so that they remember that their wives are charming.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The program to promote the development of volunteerism was presented in Khmelnytskyi. The draft document deals, in particular, with the financial and legal support of volunteer organizations and foundations from the government. On the territory of the community, the Program will operate during 2023-2027, but only after it is supported by the deputies of the city council.

Half-liter cans and lids for the production of canned meat and vegetables for defenders are constantly collected by volunteers of the public organization “Unity of Spirit”. Sweets for the front have been made on the basis of one of the sports clubs since April last year. In winter, volunteers began to send dumplings to the soldiers. They are most excited when they receive feedback from the front lines.

A charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in one of the city’s cafes. Khmelnytskyi artists presented their works. These are paintings, ceramics, dolls and other handmade products. The organizers will give part of the proceeds to volunteers for the purchase of military equipment.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

The community is again in mourning. There was a farewell ceremony for Dmytro Binkovskyi, a brave soldier from Kamianets, whose life was taken by the war.

A cycle of classes for volunteer candidates has begun. They will work with children who are in difficult life circumstances. Currently, future volunteers of the Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth are acquiring new skills in communicating with people of different categories and children of different social status.

Students of the art department of the art school of Lyceum No. 9 named after O.M. Troian will join the charity event in support of Ukraine. It will take place at West Herts College in Watford, a suburb of London (United Kingdom). Funds from the sale of works will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

The Rivne Oblast held a farewell ceremony for the Heroes – Lubomyr Bondarets from the Krupets community, Yurii Vasylets from the Babyn community, Oleh Honcharuk – from the Zoria community. 

Today, February 14, the Rivne City Council approved changes to the budget, which provide for the allocation of 300 million hryvnias for defense needs. Half of this sum, 150 million hryvnias, will be transferred as a subvention to the oblast military administration. Funds should be directed to the implementation of the defense program developed by the oblast. Another 50 million was decided to be allocated for city defense programs. This sum will be used to purchase attack drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, security systems for military units where our equals serve, and the rehabilitation of the military. The deputies also agreed to allocate 100 million hryvnias for the purchase of military bonds.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna is in mourning for the soldiers who died a brave death defending Ukraine: farewell to junior sergeant Ivan Marusyk took place in the village of Kadubivtsi, and to soldier Yevhen Shevchuk in the village of Samushyn.

Bukovyna received humanitarian cargo – 84,000 canned meat and vegetables with a total weight of 28.8 tons. The aid came from the National Reserve of Romania. Therefore, the cargo will be sent from Chernivtsi Oblast to other regions of Ukraine.
Residents of the Vanchykovtsi community handed over humanitarian cargo to the soldiers at the front: warm things, food, etc. Local residents living in the Kherson Oblast also received help.

Zakarpattia Oblast

On Valentine’s Day, as a sign of love for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers organized a charity fair in Uzhhorod. The fair was opened near the philharmonic hall. Tents with goodies, souvenir products, t-shirts with inscriptions, Zakarpattia wines and honey – mostly everything was red or in the shape of hearts. A win-win lottery was organized – for 50 hryvnias people could win a prize. The organizers also took care of a themed photo zone so that visitors could capture a memorable moment.
On February 15, the exhibition of the author’s printed graphics “Graphics from Kharkiv” will be opened in the Zakarpattia Oblast Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
