Northern oblasts
Kyiv
Today, six enemy balloons were spotted over Kyiv, which were moving in the air under the influence of the wind. All of them were targeted by the air defense system.
Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, visited Ukraine and held talks with President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The key topic for discussion was the military support that Sweden provides to Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also discussed Ukraine’s defense needs with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Melanie Jolie, who is on a visit to Kyiv, and thanked her for her support.
The first discussion of the city’s future vision after the de-occupation took place in Kyiv as part of the event “I am Mariupol: I intend to revive”. Similar discussions will be held in 16 cities of Ukraine where there are “I am Mariupol” centers. The opinions of Mariupol residents are important for the future recovery of Mariupol.
Zhytomyr Oblast
An artilleryman of the russian armed forces, a native of the Zhytomyr Oblast, is suspected of high treason.
The investigation has established that this resident of the Novohrad-Volynskyi Raion, born in 1999, moved to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in March 2017. He subsequently signed a contract the armed forces of the russian federation and took part in hostilities against Ukraine on the territory of the Kherson Oblast. He was served a notice of suspicion.
A batch of medicines was sent from the Zhytomyr Oblast to soldiers on the front lines: antibiotics, cold remedies, and tourniquets. In addition, food and sleeping bags were also transferred to the military. This was reported by the press service of the Zhytomyr City Council.
The Zhytomyr Oblast Military Administration signed a memorandum of cooperation with Hennadiy Butkevych’s BGV Charitable Foundation. This foundation helps the military and law enforcement officers. Communities in the Zhytomyr Oblast received 500 electric heaters from UNICEF.

Chernihiv Oblast
In the house at 15 Chornovil Street, on which a Russian plane dropped FAB-500 bombs on March 3, 2022, two entrances are planned to be dismantled. According to the examination performed by the Research Institute of Building Structures, they are not subject to restoration. The third and fourth entrances have almost been restored, only two elevators remain to be repaired. Repairs to the neighboring building at 15-A Chornovil Street are scheduled to be completed by May. The city budget has allocated 16 million hryvnias for the restoration of the building, and there is a preliminary agreement with the Czech charity organization People in Need to install windows in those apartments that are not being repaired.
Sumy Oblast
On February 14, russians shelled 3 communities in the Sumy Oblast: Bilopillia, Yunakivka, and Seredyna-Buda. In the Yunakivka community, 4 mortar shell hits were recorded. The enemy also dropped two explosive devices from drones. In the Bilopillia community, 28 shots from automatic mounted grenade launchers and 6 rounds of automatic weapons were recorded. The russian military twice fired mortars on the territory of the Seredyna-Buda community. In total, 34 hits were recorded.
Today, russians fired 5 bursts of machine-gun fire in the direction of one of the villages of the Nova Sloboda community.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
At least 20 localities in the Kharkiv Oblast came under hostile fire yesterday.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy shelled Krokhmalne, Berestove, Tabaivka, Kupiansk, and Dvorichna with tanks, mortars, and artillery.
Veterynarne, Hraniv, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Chuhunivka, and other settlements were also under enemy fire.
In Kupiansk, as a result of the russian missile attack, a multi-story residential building suffered significant damage.
Today, Kupiansk came under hostile fire again. Three private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Several fires broke out.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service removed and neutralized 10 pieces of explosive ordnance.
Donetsk Oblast
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk sectors.
On February 14, the russians killed one resident of the Donetsk Oblast — in Bakhmut. One more person in the oblast was wounded.
Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of more than 20 settlements. Among them are Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Prechystivka in the Donetsk Oblast.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, shelling of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Katerynivka of the Maryinka community, as well as the outskirts of Kurakhivka community and Avdiivka was recorded. Late yesterday evening, russians shelled the village of Vesele of the Ocheretyne community with tanks.
Today, russians bombarded Pokrovsk with the Smerch MLRS, damaging a multi-storey building and injuring 12 civilians. One person was reported dead. Rescue operations are underway, as there may still be people under the rubble. An operational headquarters to assist the victims was deployed in the city.
Volunteers from the well-known French charity foundation Solidarités International visited the Pokrovsk community. They met with the management of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration. The benefactors got acquainted with the life of the community. The volunteers were provided with information on the needs of internally displaced persons, citizens evacuated from the hot spots, and other vulnerable groups of population.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the direction of Bakhmut, more than 25 settlements were shelled by mortars and artillery, including Bilohorivka, Vesele, Paraskoviivka, Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Zalizne, New York of the Donetsk Oblast.
Kostiantynivka was hit by a missile in the Horlivka direction: one person was injured, four high-rise buildings and the Palace of Culture were damaged.
In Bakhmut, one person died, the administration building was damaged.
In the Soledar community, two houses were damaged in Vasiukivka. Paraskoviivka, Fedorivka and Minkivka were under fire. Mariupol

Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday and today, the enemy carried out artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Odessa Oblast

Khmelnytskyi Oblast
The Security Service of Ukraine completed the investigation and handed over to the court materials regarding two residents of Khmelnytskyi who publicly denied the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.
In the course of 2022, about 30 enterprises from various sectors of the economy were relocated to Kamianets-Podilskyi. Of these, 23 are already operational and have created more than 316 jobs. One enterprise that moved due to the war has already returned to its city. However, most of them remained in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast and plan to expand.
Students of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Vocational College of Culture and Arts organized a lottery, “Defender’s charges for victory” and “Warm a soldier with words” actions. During these actions, they collected energy bars, sweets and valentine letters for Ukrainian soldiers. As a result, it was possible to collect almost 3,300 hryvnias for basic nets.
