Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Today, relatives and friends of the prisoners of war rallied in Kyiv with placards in support of the release of the captives currently being held by russia. Similar rallies were held in other major Ukrainian cities.

Kyiv Oblast

Four more educational institutions in the Bucha community joined the Flock of Drones charity campaign. By holding sweets fairs, parents and children managed to raise more than UAH 120 thousand to purchase UAVs for the military.

Chernihiv Oblast

UAVs, mortars, and artillery were used by the russian army to attack three border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast yesterday. No casualties were reported.

Sumy Oblast

On March 2, the russian army shelled 9 communities in the Sumy Oblast. They fired mortars and artillery, as well as dropped munitions from drones on the territory of the oblast.

Today, the russian army shelled 6 communities. The enemy attacked the region with mortars, drones, and guided aerial bombs. In the Velyka Pysarivka community, the building of the local hospital, private houses, and cars were damaged.

Today, at about 1:30 a.m., russia hit the Druzhba community with two high-explosive bombs, which landed a few meters from the houses of local residents. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

On March 2, more than 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were shelled by the russian federation.

Vovchansk came under shelling twice within the last 24 hours: the first attack in the afternoon of March 2 damaged the roof of a house, and the second one on March 3 damaged the building of an educational institution, a house and the power grid. Also, the russians inflicted a direct hit on the lyceum in Oleksandrivka during the evening shelling.

At midnight, russians fired cluster shells at the settlement of Podoly, damaging a private household.

At about 8: 30 a.m., russians shelled Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk Raion. A 60-year-old man was wounded and subsequently taken to hospital.

Four russian assaults were repelled by the defense forces near Tabaivka in the Kupiansk sector.

Donetsk Oblast

The army of the russian federation shelled the contact line more than one and a half thousand times and seven times shelled four settlements of the Donetsk Oblast. As a result of shelling, 46 civilian objects were damaged.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

On the night of March 3, the russian military shelled the Myrnograd community of the Donetsk Oblast. It hit two educational institutions with four missiles. As a result of the shelling, there are three wounded.

On the morning of March 3, the russian army launched a missile attack on Pokrovsk. Three people were slightly injured. As a result of the missile attack, 18 cars, two educational institutions, 14 apartment buildings and four private houses, and a gas pipeline were damaged. 1,800 residents remain without gas.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

During the day, russian troops attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities of the Mykolaiv Oblast. The enemy used FPV drones and artillery strikes. There are no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

221 strikes were made by the russian army on 10 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, March 2. In particular, it attacked Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne three times from the air, and also used drones, artillery, and MLRS on other populated areas.

In the Orikhiv direction, the russian army attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the Robotyne area and west of Novoprokopivka in the Zaporizhia Oblast four times last night.

In the Energodar direction, the National Guard and border guards destroyed the russian Murom-M observation complex with the help of a kamikaze drone.

Odessa Oblast

The rescue operation at the place where the russian “shahed” hit a high-rise building on the night of March 1-2 continues. A total of 215 people were involved. As of 5:00 p.m., ten dead are known, including three children: 3-year-old Mark, 8-month-old Yelyzaveta, and 4-month-old Tymofii. Children may still be under the rubble. Five people were saved.

A russian plane attacked Odesa. Around noon, it launched an Kh-31P missile from the Black Sea, but it lost its combat capability.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops shelled 21 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. Enemy shells damaged three high-rise buildings, 15 private houses, and a post office. One person died, another was injured.

At night, the russian military shelled the village of Poniativka. Rescuers found the body of a dead man under the rubble of the destroyed house.

In the morning, the russian army attacked the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. The house was hit, a 65-year-old man was injured by fragments of glass.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of March 3, the russian army launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro. A fire broke out, it was extinguished.

Nikopol and the Nikopol Raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were also attacked. A country house was damaged. There were no dead or injured.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Vinnytsia schoolchildren collected almost UAH 66,000 for carrying sacks for defenders. Schoolchildren handed in waste paper, bottle caps, and other recyclables.

Western Oblasts

Volyn Oblast

Since the beginning of 2024, 137 unemployed people in the Volyn Oblast have been involved in community service within the framework of the “Recovery Army” assistance program of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In Lutsk, the unemployed are involved in weaving camouflage nets for the military and other social works.

Lviv Oblast

Polish protesters continue to block the movement of trucks at six checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. More than 2,400 trucks are in queues. The checkpoint “Medyka-Shehyni” remains completely blocked.

Ternopil Oblast

A charity mini-football tournament was organized in Ternopil. During the tournament, money was collected for a car for a soldier from the 3rd separate assault brigade.
