Northern oblasts
Kyiv

Kyiv Oblast
The Center for Coordination of International Assistance and Recovery of the Kyiv Oblast was presented to international partners at the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration. The event was attended by representatives of international companies that help the war-stricken region. Heads of the raion military administrations and territorial communities of the oblast joined online. The Center will become a regional platform for partners to consolidate joint efforts to restore and renovate the Kyiv Oblast. It will help set up and coordinate the processes to cover as many facilities and households as possible.
Zhytomyr Oblast
Residents of a village of the Zhytomyr Oblast will say goodbye to Petro Horbatiuk, born in 1990, who killed in action in May near Lyman. Eternal glory to the Hero.
A charity event “A Year Without a Lyceum” was held on Mykhailivska Street in Zhytomyr. On March 4, 2022, a russian bomb hit one of Zhytomyr’s educational institutions. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, 1,300 students of the lyceum were left without a building. Today, on the main pedestrian street of the city, the lyceum students held a themed charity event and remembered the graduates who fell in the battles for the country’s independence.
With the support of the Zhytomyr Oblast Military Administration and the NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation”, another batch of charitable aid from the UN Children’s Fund, UNICEF Ukraine, arrived in the Zhytomyr Oblast. In particular, electric heaters, thermal kits, hygiene kits, first aid kits, etc., were delivered.
Volunteers from “Grandma’s Battalion” in Zhytomyr sew special underwear for wounded soldiers. This is underwear with Velcro, which the soldiers requested from the volunteers during their visit to the military hospital.
Chernihiv Oblast
On March 4, russians shelled the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars. The border guards received information about 12 hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar, in the area of the village of Tymonovychi.
Today, explosive ordnance disposal by detonation took place near the village of Shestovytsia.
On March 3, in Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske, they said goodbye to border guard Maksym Svyrydenko.
Sumy Oblast
During the day, on March 3, the russian military shelled 6 communities in the Sumy Oblast: Shalyhyne, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Esman, Hlukhiv, and Yunakivka. A local resident was killed as a result of the shelling of the Shalyhyne community. A total of 121 hits were recorded.
Today, russians also shelled the villages of Vovkivka and Kharkivka in the Shostka Raion, Sumy Oblast. There is no information on casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Chuhuiv raions of the oblast suffered from shelling by the occupiers.
As a result of shelling in Kupiansk, at least 9 residential buildings were damaged, and some outbuildings and garages were destroyed. A health care facility was also damaged. There were no casualties.
In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv Raion, a private residential building was damaged by hostile fire.
In the village of Berestove, Kupiansk Raion, a 52-year-old civilian man was wounded during enemy shelling and then hospitalized in the state of moderate severity.
Mine risk remains high in the oblast. A 37-year-old civilian man died this morning in the village of Chaikivka, Chuhuiv Raion. He hit a trip wire while going to the river to fish.
Donetsk Oblast
On March 3, russian troops carried out 38 strikes on 18 settlements in the Donetsk Oblast.
On March 3, it became known about 2 more residents of the Donetsk Oblast killed by russians: in Maksymilianivka and Siversk.
Since February 24, the russians have killed 1,396 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,119. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, in the Ocheretyne community, 8 houses were damaged in Soloviove, Tonenke, and Lastochkyne.
The night before, russians bombarded Kamyshivka in the Novohrodivka community with the Smerch MLRS, damaging a medical facility, but causing no casualties.
In the evening, Avdiivka was shelled, houses on three streets were damaged.
In the Kurakhove community, Kurakhove and Kurakhivka came under fire, and Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Katerynivka were shelled in the Maryinka community. There were no casualties.

Luhansk Oblast

Southern Oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
In Zaporizhzhia, rubble is being dismantled for the third day at the site of a rocket hit on the 5th floor, which the russians inflicted on March 1. According to updated information, the bodies of 11 dead people (among them an 8-month-old child) were unblocked from under the debris. 8 people were wounded, 4 were hospitalized. The fate of 5 people remains unknown. 4 cats and a dog were also rescued during the debris removal.
Today, the russians shelled the village of Maryivka in Zaporizhzhia Raion. Houses were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. It is known in advance that the shelling was carried out from the coastal missile complex “Bastion”, equipped with missiles of the “Onyx” type, from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy carried out artillery and mortar attacks on the water area and the coast of the Ochakiv community. At 3:30 p.m., artillery fire was recorded outside the settlement of the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Odesa Oblast
In the Black Sea, the number of russian missile carriers has doubled: two surface ships and two submarines are currently on combat duty. The total volley can consist of 24 missiles of the “Caliber” type.
In the Odesa Oblast, additional repair work on power facilities will begin on March 5 to increase the reliability of the oblast’s power supply. In Odesa, in the City Garden, an action was held in support of the defenders of Mariupol, prisoners of war. Stands with photos of servicemen who are currently in captivity were displayed there. According to the organizers, the photos were sent by relatives of soldiers from all over Ukraine.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 69 times in a day with artillery and multiple launch rocket systems “Grad”. The russian military shelled Kherson four times, 26 shells hit houses and the territory of a utility company. One person died, ten were injured.
The russian army shelled the Kherson community 13 times. The settlements of Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, KhBK [Kherson Cotton Plant] and Korabel microdistricts were attacked. Four people were injured.
The russian military took out about 200 people from the village of Boyove in Henichesk Raion, because they refused to hand over their land plots to the occupation administration.
The russian occupation administration is creating volunteer paramilitary formations in Crimea to fight the pro-Ukrainian movement against the background of the outflow of security forces from the peninsula.
The russian army in the Kherson direction changed tactics and began using drones against residents of the right-bank territory of the oblast. It is dangerous, so it is necessary to avoid crowding. The tactic of the russian army is to fire aimlessly in the direction of Kherson.
The Ukrainian military identifies the enemy’s positions and destroys them with aimed fire. During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three reconnaissance drones of the russian army in the Kherson direction.

Students of Novooleksandrivka Lyceum of Beryslav Raion took part in the Japanese-Ukrainian project “War Through the Eyes of Children”. Its purpose is to collect funds for the restoration of the school in the village of Soldatske.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
The russians continue shelling the Nikopol Raion. In the Marganets community, a social institution, 19 private houses, 12 farm buildings, 3 cars, a garage, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.
In Nikopol, a private enterprise and 4 houses were damaged, a power line was cut. Two outbuildings were heavily damaged.
Anti-aircraft gunners of the Nikopol anti-aircraft missile regiment destroyed a russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the area of the temporarily occupied city of Enakievo. One enemy pilot died, one was wounded.
37-year-old junior sergeant Oleksandr Liulka from Kamianske was killed in battle with the enemy. He had a wife, two daughters, parents and a brother. 20-year-old Dmytro Petukhov from Dnipro died while defending Ukraine. 30-year-old Kyrylo Bolotnikov from Verkhivtsevo also died at the front. He had a wife, two children and a mother. 28-year-old Maksym Nos from Kryvyi Rih was killed in the fighting near Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast. He had a daughter. Defenders who returned from Bakhmut were awarded in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Since August 2022, fighters have been performing combat missions in Mayorsk, Toretsk and New York. Poltava Oblast

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Rivne Oblast
The Rivne Oblast received five generators for water utilities. Thanks to cooperation with the German organization ERCC, the Rivne Oblast received another aid. These are five generators of different capacities: from 220 to 66 kW. In case of power outages, they will provide back-up power to the pumps that pump water to water channels.
Zakarpattia Oblast
