Zhytomyr Oblast

The soldier shot for “Glory to Ukraine” served in a brigade from the Zhytomyr Oblast. According to preliminary data, the deceased is a serviceman of the 30th separate mechanized brigade Timofii Shadura. The final confirmation of the identity will be established after the return of the body and the relevant examinations.

In the Zhytomyr Oblast Medical Center of Vertebrology and Rehabilitation, the musculoskeletal system of wounded soldiers is restored with the help of new medical devices.

Evacuated families from Kupyansk will be received in Zhytomyr. On March 6, 10 people were evacuated from Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, these families are with children and citizens with limited mobility.

A private house was damaged in the village of Starykove of the Shalygin community and in the village of Grabovskoe, Krasnopillya community, the russian military dropped 17 munitions (VOG type) from a UAV on the yard of a residential building. As a result of the explosion, windows were broken and 2 cars were damaged.

On the morning of March 7, the russians shelled the Bilopillya community with mortars. According to the preliminary information of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, there is no damage.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Last day, the enemy continued shelling the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuguyiv, and Kupyansk raion. In particular, the towns of Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Dvorichna and other settlements were under the fire of the occupiers.

In the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv raion, the enemy opened fire with anti-aircraft guns. At least 4 residential buildings, outbuildings and a garage were damaged. The local fire station was also damaged.

An educational institution was damaged by shelling in the village of Lyman of the Vovchan community of the Chuguyiv raion. Residential buildings were destroyed in Vovchansk.

Demining works are ongoing in the region. During the day, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 96 flammable objects.

Donetsk Oblast

The police of the Donetsk Oblast documented 29 russian attacks on the civilian population

During the day, 14 settlements were shelled. Enemy shells killed and wounded civilians. The enemy used Kh-59 air defense missiles, S-300 SAMs, Grad, Smerch anti-aircraft missiles, artillery, tanks, and mortars. 16 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 15 residential buildings and a school.

On March 6, in Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed in Maksimilianovka by shelling of the russian army, and seven more residents of the oblast were injured.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian into Ukraine, 1,400 people have died in Donetsk Oblast, and 3,138 people have been injured. It is impossible to establish the exact number of dead and wounded in Volnovas and Mariupol.

In the Donetsk Oblast over the past year, the occupiers have violated the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code) more than 13,000 times, causing more than 11,000 people to suffer.

Last day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 140 enemy attacks in Donetsk Oblast.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

On the Donetsk side, the enemy fired intensively in the Ocheretne community: at least 5 houses were damaged in Netailovo and Tonenko, and in the morning there were air rocket strikes on Lastochkino and Orlivka and artillery shelling on Krasnohorivka and Kamianka. At night, the russians shelled Karlivka of the Novogrodiv community with artillery, damaging the infrastructural facility.

In Avdiyivka, chaotic shelling continued at night, and in the morning there were 2 massive artillery shells and an air rocket strike, and some residential quarters were hit.

The management of the Pokrovsk city military administration met with representatives of the international organization Team4UA and discussed further joint activities with the head of the foundation.

Households in the village of Shevchenkove of the Pokrovsk community, which suffered from shelling last week, received humanitarian aid from the charitable foundation “Kolo” and the organization Relief Aid. Benefactors gave people bags of construction tools and products, as well as blankets and flashlights.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy, despite significant losses, continues to storm the city of Bakhmut and its surroundings. Over the past day, the enemy made 37 attacks near the village of Dubovo-Vasylivka alone. He also led an offensive in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Fedorivka, Zaliznianske, Yagidne and Ivanivske – he was unsuccessful. Artillery and mortar attacks were recorded in the areas of Zaliznyanske, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Druzhba, Toretsk, Mayorsk and New York settlements.

As a result of russian attacks, a person was killed in Bakhmut, there are wounded.

Bakhmut currently has the status of a regime object. Entry into the city is strictly limited, passes are issued only depending on the situation during the day. Despite this, the evacuation of the population was not stopped.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

In the Lysychansk direction, 5 houses were damaged in Pereyizne of the Zvanivka community, 8 shellings were recorded in the Torske and Zarichne of Lyman community.

On March 6, russian occupation forces fired Tornado-S at Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk raion, Donetsk Oblast. A gas pipeline, an educational institution and residential buildings were damaged. 2 people were injured.

Repair crews eliminate the consequences of shelling. Currently, all subscribers are connected to the gas supply. 

And on the afternoon of March 7, russian troops launched another missile strike on Kostyantynivka. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.

Mariupol

In the schools of russian-occupied Mariupol, murderers are glorified. Thus, stories of the occupiers with the inscription “Heroes of the DPR” were hung on stands in educational institutions. Thus, they are trying to instill a false, propagandistic story to the children of Mariupol.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The enemy is on the defensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction. In particular, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Kamianske, Tavriyske came under fire.

The occupiers continue to put pressure on the residents of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast and force them to take russian passports. In some localities, since January 1, people who do not have a passport of a citizen of the russian federation cannot receive cash payments, in particular, salaries. Payment must be made exclusively through cards of russian banks.

Mykolayiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy fired artillery and mortar fire on the water area of ​​Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

As a result of a large-scale special operation, an agent of the main directorate of the general staff of the russian federation, who was collecting intelligence for the capture of the Ukrainian city, was detained in Ochakiv. It was established that the former commander of one of the special operations centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned out to be the agent of the game.

Odesa Oblast

The Odesa Oblast was in second place in terms of the number of complaints about violations of the language law in the first two months of the year. The largest number of reports of violations came from Kyiv — 159 appeals. Odesa Oblast took second place with 66 appeals, Kharkiv Oblast was third (47 appeals).

Kherson Oblast

During the day, the russian army shelled the Kherson community 10 times. They attacked Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Sadove, Molodizhne, and Ostriv microdistrict. Two people were injured.

On March 7, the russian army shelled three communities in the Beryslav raion. Damaged houses and agricultural machinery. A person was blown up on a russian mine near Potiomkine.

According to the police of the Kherson Oblast, in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk raion, the russian military, accompanied by representatives of the occupation authorities, are going around the houses of local residents and taking their cars.

In the Kherson Oblast, the Defense Forces destroyed three anti-aircraft missile complexes of the russian army, two units of engineering equipment, two observation posts and a warehouse with ammunition within a day.

In the area of ​​the Great Potiomkin Island, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated three motor boats along with sabotage and reconnaissance groups of russians.

The Southern Defense Forces struck the area where russian troops and equipment are concentrated, as well as the command and observation post. An ammunition depot in Oleshky, a T-72 tank and 12 russian invaders were destroyed.

In Kherson, there is a mobile point for issuing humanitarian aid from the police and volunteers. Because of shelling, the point brigades are constantly changing their deployment locations, covering all areas of the city. People are given food and personal hygiene products.

Volunteers of the NGO «Bilozerka`s Center for Regional Development» together with the charity fund «Together for Ukraine» brought 22 tons of fuel briquettes to the residents of the Bilozerka community. They were distributed among 100 families belonging to socially vulnerable categories of the population.

The photo with the image of the Dzharylgat lighthouse was among the top three winners of the «Wiki Loves Sights» competition. The author of the photo is Serhiy Zysko. He made it at dawn on August 19, 2020. The lighthouse is located in the Skadovsk raion, which is currently under temporary occupation by the russian troops.

Central Oblasts

Dnipro Oblast

In Pokrov, a 66-year-old man wearing a t-shirt with banned communist symbols came into the field of view of law enforcement officers. The SSU also detained a resident of Novomoskovsk who was pointing rockets at shopping centers.

Applications for financial aid to families of civilians killed in the war have been accepted in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Such families can receive UAH 300 thousand.

A humanitarian hub for IDPs from Avdiivka has been opened in Novomoskovsk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Here, volunteers will distribute humanitarian aid to Avdiivka residents and provide psychological support if needed. The opening of this center is a successful example of self-organization of the population, as well as synergy between the government, community, and volunteers: active IDPs from Avdiivka who were forced to move to Novomoskovsk united and appealed to the Avdiivka City Military Administration to open a humanitarian aid distribution center in their new place of residence.

In Dnipro, a “Yurt of Unbreakability” was opened near a house in the Peremoha residential area that was destroyed by a russian missile. The “Yurt of Unbreakability” was opened at the initiative of MP Serhii Nahorniak, Kazakh businessman and philanthropist Daulet Nurzhanov, and the Kazakh diaspora in Ukraine. 

Two companies from Dnipro are donating their products to make trench candles. Some donate metal cans, others provide cardboard. 

In Dnipro, philanthropists from the Dobro TUT Foundation have opened free media courses and are teaching displaced children the basics of television professions. During the week, the teachers talk about work standards, how to work in the frame, in the studio, and with interviewers. More than half a thousand children have graduated from the academy in almost one year of its operation. The training is free of charge.

Western Oblasts

 Lviv Oblast

Relatives of 24-year-old Lviv soldier Yuriy Rudyi, with the call sign “Knight,” have created two petitions to the President of Ukraine. They ask that the defender be posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine or the Order “For Courage” of the III degree. The man died on January 26, 2023, in Bakhmut.

Volunteers from the Lviv Oblast brought a car and a quadcopter to the soldiers defending Donetsk Oblast. The money for the car was raised in two weeks by 16-year-old Diana Shevchuk, who personally came to Druzhkivka to hand it over to the unit where her mother serves. Her first trip to the Donetsk Oblast took place in 2016, when the young volunteer visited her father, a soldier who was defending Ukraine in the east. Now she is visiting her mother, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The John Paul II Society of Polish Culture in Kamianets-Podilskyi has donated humanitarian aid for children of the Lysiv Starosta District aged up to 1 year, including diapers, baby hygiene products, and baby food.

Young Ukrainians from the frontline areas are undergoing rehabilitation in Kamianets-Podilsky under the Children of War program. The Zlahoda Association from Berhamo has donated humanitarian aid for the program participants. It includes clothes, toys, and food.

An exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian children has opened in London, featuring works by students of the Kamianets-Podilsky City Children’s Art School. In their works, the children talk about their love for Ukraine.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

The Ivano-Frankivsk territorial community has allocated about 80 acres of land for the construction of social housing for internally displaced people. It is planned to build 12 five-story buildings for IDPs.

16 family-type houses that moved to Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast from areas, where hostilities are ongoing, have remained in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Seven foster families and about 30 guardian families have also moved to Zakarpattia Oblast.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Ruslan Zaparaniuk, head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, together with volunteers, delivered aid to the soldiers of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss”. The aid includes 20 bulletproof vests and helmets, half a ton of food, and 30 mats.

Chernivtsi Oblast has received another humanitarian aid from a partner region – the Lodz Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland. The benefactors handed over hygiene products, thermal underwear, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, first aid kits, flashlights, etc.

Thirty-one territorial communities and 33 regional subordination institutions in Bukovina received about 280 radiators. They will be used in places of residence of internally displaced persons, educational, healthcare, and social protection institutions. The charity cargo came from the Chernivtsi regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

Rivne Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine will bring to trial two natives of Rivne Oblast, who joined the occupation authorities in Crimea and defected to the enemy. As the SBU investigators established, a 43-year-old native of Rivne Oblast voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupation authorities in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where he carried out criminal orders of the racists in the rank of colonel as the head of a special detachment of the Main Directorate of the russian ministry of emergency situations in Sevastopol. Also, a 34-year-old native of the village of Orzhiv of Rivne Oblast, in order to evade military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, agreed to the proposal of the occupation authorities and joined the russian navy, where he carried out illegal actions to occupy Crimea. The indictments against these Ukrainian citizens have been sent to court.

A multidisciplinary rehabilitation center for military personnel has been created on the basis of Rivne City Hospital #2. The facility will be reformatted to meet the needs of veterans and military personnel. Part of the money was donated by philanthropists, and the rest was taken from the city budget. The assistance will combine rehabilitation and treatment.

Zakarpattia Oblast

A charity gastronomic dinner in Uzhhorod raised 47 thousand hryvnias to support Ukrainian defenders. According to the organizers, this dinner was prepared by two chefs in a “four-handed” manner. The goal of the initiative is to support Ukraine’s defenders.

The coordinator of the “Active Community” in Uzhhorod took part in the 97th broadcast of the “Youth Policy in Action” organized by the Uzhhorod Youth Council. The program was devoted to the topic “Public sector and its needs and plans today” and was broadcast on the radio station “Yeden”. In particular, the activist shared her experience of working with initiative groups and addressing community needs.
