Kyiv Oblast
Today, in the Vyshgorod raion, the destruction of explosive objects was carried out.
The Center for the Coordination of International Aid and Reconstruction of the capital-connected territory was presented at Kyiv OMA. Representatives of various foreign organizations are involved in the reconstruction of the damaged infrastructure of the Oblast. The main purpose of the operation of such a center is to unite the work on the restoration of the Kyiv Oblast Government, local self-government bodies and foreign partners.
Dmytro Nazarenko, acting head of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration, inspected the process of rebuilding the destroyed and damaged housing of the Bucha community. He visited Vokzalna Street, where he checked the progress of repair works. Over 80 private houses are currently being repaired and built here. Also on Yablunska Street, where he held a meeting regarding possible options for repairing the damaged Bucha`s high-rise buildings.
Zhytomyr Oblast
In Kyiv, they said goodbye to 55-year-old pilot from Zhytomyr Oblast Viktor Volynets and his 22-year-old navigator Igor Solomennikov, who died while performing a combat mission near Bakhmut.
60 warm sports suits were given to wounded fighters who are being treated in the traumatological department of the Oleksandr Gerbachevsky Oblast clinical hospital in Zhytomyr. Help was provided by Natalia Goncharenko, who left Zhytomyr for Great Britain 10 years ago.
In Zhytomyr, the deputy company commander of the assault battalion «Somali» of the so-called «DPR» was sentenced to 12 years in prison for participating in a terrorist organization. A member of the russian military group was declared wanted.

Chernihiv Oblast
During the military operations in the period from March to April in Chernihiv Oblast, the dead soldiers and civilians of Chernihiv were buried in a closed cemetery in Yalivshchyna Park. During the period of active hostilities, the “Yatsevo” cemetery was constantly shelled by the russians – their outermost trenches were in the forest on the outskirts of the cemetery. Now, 200 bodies that were buried in Yalivshchyna Park have been reburied at the “Yatsevo” cemetery.
Sumy Oblast
During the day, March 7, the russian army shelled two territorial communities of the Sumy Oblast: Bilopillia and Esman. 45 hits from mortars and artillery were recorded.
The Sumy OMA added that according to reports from the military, the operational situation in the Sumy border Oblasts is currently under control. The formation of russian offensive groups near the state border has not been detected.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers fired at least 18 settlements in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk Raions of Kharkiv Oblast.
The enemy tried to advance in the area of Hrianykivka, but retreated with losses.
During the day, Dvorichna of Kupiansk Raion, and Vovchansk of Chuhuiv Raion, came under intense enemy fire from mortars, tanks, and combat aircraft. There were no civilian casualties as a result of the shelling.
Over the last day, the State Emergency Service’s pyrotechnics neutralized 73 explosive devices.
Donetsk Oblast
The occupiers are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. They continue unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Avdiivka, and Maryinka in Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day, our defenders repelled over 100 enemy attacks in these areas.
The previous day was the first since February 24, 2022, when no civilians were injured in Donetsk Oblast.
Since February 24, russians have killed 1,400 civilians in Donetsk Oblast and wounded 3,138 others. The number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of Pokrovsk Raion at night, russians launched a rocket attack on the memorial of the Novohrodivka community. As a result, 3 houses were damaged.
The town of Avdiivka, the villages of Kamianka, Karlivka, and Krasnohorivka were hit, as reported by the Donetsk regional police communication department. The enemy fired from aircraft, multiple rocket launchers “Hrad” and artillery. 18 residential buildings, a school, an outbuilding, gas pipes, garages, and cars were damaged.
Avdiivka came under fire twice in the morning: shells hit three streets and the outskirts of Avdiivka Coke Pant.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to storm the city of Bakhmut, despite significant losses. They also conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Berkhivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Klishchiyivka.
Over the past day, the enemy made more than 30 unsuccessful attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka. They shelled with artillery the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubove-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Oleksandr-Shultine, Diliyivka, Zalizne, and New York.
Mariupol
On March 8, the occupiers organized a “holiday” in the city right on Svobody Square – they cooked hot porridge. People lined up in a huge lines just to eat.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk, and Bashtanka Raions, the day and night were relatively calm.
Kherson Oblast
On March 7, russian troops fired 61 times at Kherson Oblast, launching 309 shells from artillery and multiple rocket launchers ‘Hrad’. The city of Kherson was shelled four times. 17 shells hit houses. One person was wounded, the report says.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces destroyed two ammunition depots and four boats with subversive groups over the day of March 7, said Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces and the Southern Defense.
Central Oblast
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
The russian army shelled the Velikomykhailivka community of the Synelnyk raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with heavy artillery. The power line was damaged. Early in the morning, the russian occupiers targeted the Marganets community with heavy artillery. The consequences of the shelling are being clarified.
39-year-old soldier Serhii Khramchenko from Kamianske was killed while participating in hostilities. He is survived by his wife, son, mother and sister. The tank crew consisting of three soldiers of the 93rd brigade “Kholodny Yar” died in Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast: Andriy Melnyk, Vitaly Kobets, Serhiy Leontiev. 49-year-old Fedir Antoschuk from Kamiansk was killed in Donetsk Oblast. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and two sisters. 39-year-old Yevhen Melnychuk from Synelkovo died near Bakhmut. 39-year-old junior sergeant Yuriy Chebanny from Nikopol was killed in the fighting. Serhiy Andreychuk from Kryvyi Rih died near Bakhmut, he was survived by 2 children. Yevgenia Dudka, a major and head of the press service of the Oblast State Emergency Service, died in the hospital. She was injured in April 2022 as a result of a russian missile attack on the Dnipro airport. The girl underwent 11 operations. Eternal glory to the Heroes!
A russian spy was detained in the regional center, who gave the occupiers the location of important infrastructure facilities of the city and secret developments of the defense enterprise. A 66-year-old man was detained in Pokrov, who was wearing a T-shirt with banned communist symbols. The SSU detained a resident of Novomoskovsk who was pointing russian missiles at shopping centers.
In Dnipro, the gas equipment plant produces and supplies stoves to the military. They were modified for the needs of the front – the fire is not visible from russian positions, you can cook and dry clothes on the stove. The company also manufactures tactical beds.
The first mobile women’s space “Vilna” in the region was opened in Kryvyi Rih. A car with a psychologist and a mini-café will travel around the city and the Kryvyi Rih raion. Various activities will also be organized for girls and women: yoga, picnics and photo sessions.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Four defenders of Ukraine from Kirovohrad Oblast were released from russian captivity. Andriy Kosatov, Vladyslav Pastushenko, Mykyta Podskalniuk, and Stanislav Zimarev are among the dismissed soldiers. In total, 130 defenders were returned from captivity.

On February 13, 2023, Mayor Matthias Klopfer and Esslingen city councilors supported the partnership between our communities with their decision. And the next step was the participation of community representative Vitalina Tatarintseva in the two-day forum of inter-municipal partnership Ukraine-EU, held in Sindelfingen (Germany). The main goal of the event is to develop cooperation measures for the reconstruction of Ukraine and joint development.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Bukovyna bid farewell to the Heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine: Lieutenant Ivan Varchuk was laid to rest in the city of Sokyryani, soldiers Ivan Berynchan – in the village of Mykhailivka, Serhiy Ates – at the Sadhirsky cemetery. Eternal memory and glory to the faithful sons of Bukovyna!
The city of Khotyn received a powerful generator from benefactors to ensure water supply in the event of an emergency.
Bukovyna energy workers are once again helping to restore power lines in the Kherson region. Under the leadership of Serhiy Hrynyk, three shift teams of Chernivtsioblenergo – craftsmen Mykhailo Osadchuk, Roman Likar, and Denys Paraschuk – restore 10 kV overhead electric lines to the villages of Pravdyne, Tavriyske, and Nova Zorya.
Andriy Kuts works as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Chernivtsi Oblast Perinatal Center. In the summer, he spent his vacation in an unusual way: he went to the regions of Ukraine that suffered from russian aggression and helped people there – wounded, crippled, etc. Andriy also worked as a full-time paramedic in an international humanitarian mission that provides assistance to wounded soldiers and civilians in the war zone.
Zakarpattia Oblast
More than a dozen issues were discussed today at the regular meeting of the executive committee of the Uzhhorod City Council. Thus, electric generator installations were transferred from the balance sheet of the Department of Health Protection and Civil Protection of the Population to the balance sheet of the classical gymnasium, comprehensive school of the 1st-3rd century.
