Kyiv

Children who died as a result of russian aggression were commemorated in Kyiv. The event took place within the educational project “EdCamp Kyiv”. Since February 24, 2022, russia has killed at least 465 Ukrainian children.

Actor and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom visited Kyiv. He also visited Irpen, where he met with children at a local school.

Kyiv Oblast

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service extinguished 66 fires in the Kyiv Oblast over the last day, 47 of which were grass fires on a total area of ​​almost 80 hectares.

The most extensive burning of dry vegetation was recorded on the territory of Boryspil raion.

Every week, housewives from the Irpin modular town “Dubky” bake and deliver 6-7 boxes of muffins to the front. The mayor of Irpin helped to establish such a domestic “production”. He instructed the Humanitarian Headquarters of the city to provide the housewives with food. Homemade pastries are given to volunteer fighters on the front lines and defenders who are being treated at the Irpin Military Hospital.

Zhytomyr Oblast

The staff of the Zhytomyr Oblast Oncology Clinic decided to donate part of their salary to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 4 months, the doctors of the institution transferred UAH 450,000 to the charity account of the Zhytomyr Base Military Hospital.

In the Luhyne community, volunteer Larisa Khodakivska set up a box for collecting money in a local store. In a week, the community collects over ten thousand hryvnias for things for the military.

150 books in Ukrainian for wounded soldiers being treated in hospitals were collected in Zhytomyr. The collection of literature was initiated by representatives of the “Chortopolokha” smokehouse of Zhytomyr PLAST.

In Zhytomyr, the “Healthy Walk” campaign was held on the European Square. All volunteers learned Nordic walking and checked their health.

Sumy Oblast

Over the past day, the russian army shelled 6 communities of Sumy Oblast: Esman, Znob-Novgorod, Krasnopillya, Bilopillya , Nova Sloboda, Seredino-Buda. No losses and destructions were recorded.

On the night of March 26, the russian military shelled Krasnopillya and Bilopillya communities of the Sumy Oblast with mortars and grenade launchers. According to preliminary information, there are no injured.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

The russian army shelled at least 12 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast. The russian military tried to advance on Sinkivka.

Around ten in the morning, the russia shelled Kupyansk. As a result of the impact, a private house and a five-story building were damaged.

Sappers demined about 1% of the potentially mined territory of Kharkiv Oblast as of March 20. This figure is constantly changing, as active hostilities are taking place along the border with the russia. These are Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv, Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raions.

In Kharkiv, a street will be renamed in honor of national guard Oleg Hromadsky, who died on the first day of the full-scale war, defending the city from russian invaders. The military man was originally from Poltava Oblast.

Donetsk Oblast

The occupying forces of the russia carried out 37 strikes on Donetsk Oblast- there are dead and wounded. 14 settlements were shelled. Russian troops hit the civilian population with aircraft, S-300 air defense systems, Hrad, Urahan, and artillery. 20 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 7 residential buildings, a kindergarten, a palace of culture, a depot, factory workshops, a cafe, a market, a garage, and an outbuilding.

On March 25, the russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk Oblast : in the North and the city of Chasiv Yar. 1 more person in the region was injured.

Since February 24, the russians have killed 1,433 civilians of Donetsk Oblast , wounded another 3,262. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

At midnight, the russian army launched a missile strike on Kramatorsk, hitting an industrial zone. 

The russians shelled Kostyantynivka from the «Uragans». Two country houses were damaged. Also, several buildings in Predtechyne were damaged.

In the Lysychansk direction, 15 houses in Zvanivka and 5 houses in Pereizne were damaged. In Siversk, the railway station building and several nearby private houses were damaged.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the east of the Pokrovsk raion, intensive shelling of Avdiyivka from artillery and «Grads», including cluster munitions, continues at night and in the morning. On the morning of March 26, the russian military struck Avdiyivka four times with aircraft — they hit the territory of the coke-chemical plant and three times hit the central part of the city. There are no casualties or injuries. 

In the Kurakhove community, two two-story houses in Gostre and a private house in Kurakhove were damaged.

The defenders of Avdiyivka were given four electric generators by the public organization «Zaporizhzhia» to the soldiers of the 110th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchka. The servicemen were also handed a Mavic 3 drone provided by Eskoengineering LLC, a company that worked in Avdiyivka.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

One person died in the town of Chasiv Yar, and another in Severne of the Toretsk community.

The occupiers continued to carry out ground attacks on Bakhmut and its surroundings.

Despite this, the Ukrainian defenders managed to launch a counterattack north of the city and regain control over part of the territory along the E40 route.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolayiv Oblast

As of March 26, 280,800 hectares of agricultural land need to be dismantled in the Mykolayiv Oblast. Due to ammunition contamination of the territory in the Oblast, it is not possible to carry out spring sowing work in full. The Oblast`s government cooperates with six international organizations that carry out demining.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, March 25, the russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of ​​15 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

A 19-year-old boy who was injured during the rocket attack on the city by the russian army on March 22 died in Zaporizhzhia hospital.

In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia, the occupation administration issued an order for local residents to receive permits to move around the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast from the city commandant’s office by April 1.

A soft toy therapy room was opened in Zaporizhzhia, where children are helped to overcome psychological trauma in war conditions free of charge. Also in the room, children draw, sculpt, sign postcards to defenders on the front lines and attend sand art therapy classes. Sessions are held individually.

Odesa Oblast

A sea mine was discovered and destroyed in a controlled manner near one of the beaches of Odesa. Another mine detonated, hitting the coastal structures of one of the rest areas. Several buildings were damaged. Due to restricted access to the object, there were no people there and no one was injured.

The enemy’s naval group in the Black Sea consists of 12 ships and support vessels, including 2 submarine missile carriers equipped with up to 8 Caliber-type missiles. The threat of missile strikes remains at a high level.

Kherson Oblast

During March 25, the russian military shelled the de-occupied Kherson Oblast 49 times with heavy artillery and «Grads». They hit Kherson three times, hitting residential quarters, private and apartment buildings, the territory and the school building. Nine people were injured.

A 25-year-old resident of the Kherson Oblast was seriously injured due to the detonation of an anti-personnel mine «Lepestok» left by the russian military. The man was hospitalized at the nearest medical facility.

Yesterday, the aviation of the Defense Forces made three strikes on the concentration of forces and means of the russian army on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson Oblast. Rockets and gunners hit the observation post of the russian military and engineering equipment.

Generators, humanitarian aid, medicines, and an ambulance arrived from Volyn and Mykolayiv Oblast to Kherson Oblast.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovska Oblast

Nikopol and Marhanetska communities in Nikopol Raion came under attack from russian heavy artillery and drones. And also the Velykomykhailivka community in the Synelnykivskyi Raion. People were not injured. The consequences for the infrastructure are being clarified.

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov met with the mayor of the German city of Cologne, Henriette Recker. He thanked her and the residents for their systemic support. The mayor of Dnipro handed over to the Cologne municipality a piece of the 118th house on Peremoha Street, which was hit by a russian X22 missile in January, destroying two entrances and killing 46 civilians.

Ukrainian philanthropists from the Hope UA Foundation delivered humanitarian aid to Dnipro and Nikopol Raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A total of 200 large social boxes with food and hygiene items. There are also hundreds of dry breakfasts, thousands of soups, and protein bars. Fire extinguishers for rescuers.

Entrepreneurs from the Kryvyi Rih Raion joined the reconstruction of a medical facility in the Vysokopillia community in Kherson Oblast.

The Charity Kitchen project was launched in Dnipro. Twice a week, volunteers prepare 150-200 meals for IDPs. They distribute food at the humanitarian hub “Good morning, we are from Mariupol”.

In Dnipro, a unique T-shirt of the famous Dnipro football player Ruslan Rotan, a player of the 29th season of 2015/2016, is being raffled off. To participate in the draw, you need to donate UAH 500. All the funds raised will go to help Dnipro fans serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Poltava Oblast

More than 2,000 IDPs from Luhansk Oblast received help at the humanitarian hub of the Hirske community. It operates in Poltava. It distributes, among other things, food packages, hygiene products, and clothing. Lawyers and psychologists also provide counseling.

A half-marathon was held in Poltava Oblast in memory of the fallen Azov soldier Maksym Kahal, a resident of Kremenchuk who died in Mariupol. A charity race was organized in honor of the soldier in his native Kremenchuk.

Western Oblasts

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

In the Ivano-Frankivsk community on the Alley of Heroes in Chukalivka, the relatives of the victims decided to put monuments of the same type on the graves of the soldiers. They discussed this issue at a meeting with the mayor. He promised that the city would contribute financially. In addition, after Ukraine’s victory, a stele with the names of the soldiers who are not buried in the Chukalivka cemetery for various reasons will also be installed to preserve their memory.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, doctors from Canada and the United States will operate on soldiers and people affected by the war. This will take place as part of the second Face the Future mission, which will last from March 26 to 31. The American doctors will share their experience with the Carpathian doctors through online broadcasts of surgeries, webinars, and master classes.

A 20-year-old artist from Ivano-Frankivsk, nicknamed Edemina, is creating a painting called Glory to Ukraine. The girl depicts famous Ukrainians – prominent political and public figures, military personnel, as well as singers, journalists, and bloggers. Among them are several foreign figures who supported Ukraine during the full-scale war.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Travelers from Chernivtsi reoriented their business from tourists to the military. The company produces freeze-dried food that is easy to carry and quick to prepare. Freeze-dried food tastes like regular food but can be stored longer. An omelet has a three-year shelf life, and main dishes have a two-year shelf life. The food is first cooked in the kitchen as a regular dish and then dried.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Volunteers from Spain brought humanitarian aid to children living in the regional orphanage in Zakarpattia. Five tons of cargo were brought from the city of Chinchilla. One of the volunteers spoke on Spanish radio about the children in this institution, including the young IDPs, and within a few hours, concerned Spanish people began to bring aid to the volunteer microbus.

The international flash mob “Choirs for Peace” has begun in Uzhhorod. The event is being simultaneously broadcast online in different parts of the world. Transcarpathian artistic groups have joined together to participate in the international flash mob, singing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Dona Nobis Pacem (“Give us peace”) simultaneously with participants from different countries.
