Northern oblasts

Kyiv

An airplane monument was dismantled near the Mykola Hryshko Botanical Garden on Busova Hora. It was located on the territory of school No. 5. Kyiv studies expert Kyrylo Stepanets noted that the dismantling was motivated by “the indignation of many Kyiv residents.”

A mural dedicated to captured Azovstal defenders has appeared in the Podil district of Kyiv. The mural appeared on the walls of the Mad Heads Coffee Roasters building, depicting shackled hands and an inscription in English that reads: “Fight for them as they fought for us”.

Kyiv Oblast

Today, explosive ordnance disposal was carried out in the Vyshhorod Raion.

On March 27, sappers of the Irpin Municipal Guard discovered several explosive devices on the territory of the Irpin community.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Residents of Zhytomyr, whose houses were damaged due to the war, can take part in the Restore Your Home program and receive funds for reconstruction. The program is intended only for residents of high-rise buildings with condominiums. The funds are allocated by the European Union, and the program is implemented in Ukraine by the State Energy Efficiency Fund. The maximum amount that condominiums can receive is 6.5 million hryvnias. There are already houses in Zhytomyr that have taken advantage of this opportunity.

Cars, timber, gasoline, and funds seized as part of criminal proceedings were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale armed invasion of Ukraine, the Zviahel District Prosecutor’s Office, within the scope of its powers, has initiated the transfer of property and material evidence seized during pre-trial investigations to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chernihiv Oblast

On March 27, russians fired mortars at the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv Oblast in the area of the village of Bleshnia. Border guards recorded 12 hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Major Dmytro Bashkintsev from Chernihiv was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 174/2023 of March 23.

Starting March 27, 100 Points of Invincibility resume their work in the Chernihiv Oblast. They were reopened for prompt response in the event of an emergency. Those located in the premises of military administrations, village, settlement and city councils, and starostats will start working. This decision was made by the oblast commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency situations.

Sumy Oblast

On March 26, russian forces shelled the Esman and Bilopillia communities in the Sumy Oblast. There were no damages.

On the morning of March 27, russians shelled the village of Tovstodubove in the Esman community with tube artillery.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

ast day, russian occupiers shelled at least 17 border settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Chuhuiv raions of the Kharkiv Oblast. In particular, Kupiansk, Lyptsi, Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Tabaivka and other towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast were under enemy fire.

The shelling of Kupiansk damaged a 5-storey residential building and a private household. Also, some outbuildings were destroyed.

The enemy fired mortars and other weapons at the settlement of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk Raion. A residential building and outbuildings were damaged.

Mine clearance continues. Over the past day, 59 explosive devices were defused in the oblast.

Donetsk Oblast

During the previous day, russians killed one resident of the Donetsk Oblast — in Krasnohorivka. Two more people in the oblast were wounded.

Since February 24, 2022, the Russians have killed 1,434 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,264. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Two people killed, and at least 32 wounded. Five of them are in serious condition. Today, russian troops attacked the Donetsk Oblast with four S-300 missiles. Investigative and operational units, bomb squads and police paramedics, and all emergency services are working at the sites of hits in Sloviansk and Druzhkivka.

In Sloviansk, administrative and office buildings, apartment buildings and private houses were destroyed. The rescue operation is ongoing. The number of victims is growing.

Missiles hit an orphanage in Druzhkivka. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Explosions are also heard in Kramatorsk. No casualties were reported.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

During the day, bombardments of the Chasiv Yar community and the villages of Vasiukivka, Rozdolivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, and Minkivka in the Soledar community were recorded. There was no information about the casualties.

In the Zvanivka community, 3 houses were destroyed and 6 more damaged in Zvanivka, and another 4 houses were damaged in Pereizne. Several private houses were also damaged in Siversk.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sievierne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka and Marinka. More than 15 settlements were subjected to numerous enemy shelling.

The cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Krasnohorivka, the village of Ocheretyne, and the village of Karlivka were under enemy fire. The russian troops used aviation, Grad multiple rocket launchers , artillery, mortars against the civilian population.

The previous morning, the russians launched a rocket attack on Avdiivka, damaging the hotel and the courthouse. During the day, the outskirts of Kurakhovo were shelled six times, there was a lot of noise in the Ocheretyne community. There are without casualties.

Due to the aggravation of the situation in Avdiivka, entry into the city is prohibited, reported the head of the Avdiivka city military administration.

Communal services in Avdiivka have been under fire for over a year. Among the communal workers, there are many seriously injured, there are those who have lost limbs. Yesterday, part of the employees already left the city, others will be evacuated in small groups.

In Pokrovsk, a meeting of the Committee and the Public Council on renaming more than a hundred streets and squares was held. So, they considered a list of 45 streets, which will be presented to residents for public discussion as a matter of priority.

Mariupol

On the morning of March 27, an explosion rang out near the Bakhchivanji market in Mariupol. According to preliminary information, the car of one of the occupiers’ commanders exploded.

The occupying authorities are preparing to declare exactly 665 private houses belonging to the residents of Mariupol as “ownerless” and give them over to civilian and military occupiers.

Luhansk Oblast

The villages of Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka suffered from enemy shelling during March 26.

The fact that about 100 bodies of dead russians were delivered to the local morgue in Troitske last day speaks of the enemy’s significant losses.

In Starobilsk, the occupying forces converted the surgical department of a multidisciplinary hospital into a military hospital to provide so-called specialized medical care to wounded occupiers.

The head of the Severodonetsk Raion State Administration reported that the people of Sievierodonetsk experienced a very difficult winter. There was no centralized heating, and a limited number of residents had access to electricity. People were forced to heat high-rise buildings with solid fuel and potbelly stoves.

Self-destruction of high-rise buildings, which the russians fired upon during the assault, also began in Sievierodonetsk. There are problems with the damaged infrastructure. There are interruptions with electricity and water supply. The equipment does not withstand the capacity, water is supplied only to those districts where the collectors survived at least a little.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

As of 07:30 on the morning of March 27, no enemy shelling was recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv Oblast.

An agricultural enterprise in the Mykolaiv Oblast has begun work on the restoration of a field that was destroyed by russian shells in 2022. There are plans to modernize the facility.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

A series of explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. The building that was captured by the russian military was destroyed. According to the mayor of Melitopol, a local cafe and an enemy barracks were damaged.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited advanced positions in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, learned about the operational situation, visited a military hospital and presented awards to military personnel and medics. Thus, the Defenders of Ukraine received the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree and “For Courage” III degree from the hands of the President of Ukraine. 

IAEA Director General Grossi, together with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, visited the Dniprovska HPP in Zaporizhzhya and inspected the recent damage to the dam.

Odesa Oblast

In Odesa, at the “Idea Generator” hackathon, the best projects were chosen to be presented on the crowdfunding platform. The collected funds will be used for their implementation. Among the winners: an initiative for the rehabilitation of military personnel, a tourist tram and an event cafe for displaced persons.

On the occasion of International Theater Day, the mayor of Odesa congratulated and awarded the actors and employees of the city’s theaters. The best theatrical premieres of 2022 were also celebrated at the event.

Kherson Oblast

Beryslav was attacked by russian aviation. Civil infrastructure was damaged, there were no casualties or injuries.

During the day, russian troops shelled the Berislav, Novovorontsovka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Mylove, and Tiahynka communities of the Berislav district. Houses and farm buildings was damaged.

For two days in a row, the russian military has been testing guided aerial bombs along the demarcation line in the Kherson Oblast. Ukrainian defenders have experience in shooting down such bombs.

In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson Oblast, the russian army is torturing people for refusing to take russian passports.

The russian military stole solar panels, a battery, an air conditioner, and chargers from a country house in the temporarily occupied Henichenska Hirka. They also broke the windows because they could not break the door.

Four people were injured as a result of a mine explosion near Ivanivka, Ishchenka and Kostyrka.

Yesterday, the aviation of the Defense Forces made three strikes on the concentration of forces and means of the russian army on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson Oblast. Rockets and gunners hit the observation post of the russian military and engineering equipment.

On the territory of the de-occupied Kherson Oblast, out of 164 medical institutions, 20 hospitals and 15 other health care institutions provide medical care. One hospital was completely destroyed and stopped working.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Dog breeder and head of the “Antares” search and rescue unit from Pavlohrad, Larysa Borysenko, together with a colleague, were blown up on the stretch mine. It happened during the search for dead soldiers. The woman’s condition is serious, she is currently in the Dnipro hospital.

A fragment of a mural from the building of a motor vehicle enterprise, which russian troops hit with rockets on the night of September 29, 2022, was handed over to the retro museum in Dnipro. The exhibit will become part of the future “Victory” collection.

Kirovohrad Oblast

In the Kirovohrad Oblast, the military of the 174th Territorial Defense Battalion designed and created installations that help conduct reconnaissance during the battle, deliver ammunition to positions and detect mined territory.

Photojournalist from Kherson Oleksandr Korniakov presented the documentary exhibition “Unconquered Kherson” in Krop:hub space in Kropyvnytskyi. This is the 19th exhibition in Ukrainian cities.

Cherkasy Oblast

In Cherkasy, on March 27, a memorial plaque was unveiled in honor of the soldier and volunteer Pavlo Sobko who died in the war. Since 2015, he has been helping the military in the East. Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, he volunteered for the Cherkasy Territorial Defense. He died in April 2022 from a sniper’s bullet in the battles for Popasna in the Luhansk Oblast. He had a wife and two children.

Students from Cherkasy, who are currently abroad, received a drone and unique kit parts as a prize for second place in the ROBOROBO World Robotics Olympiad. The schoolchildren took the “silver” award for the automatic watering can project.

In Cherkasy, internally displaced persons from the Kharkiv Oblast organized cooking workshops for children. Participants prepared pizza and received diplomas of Italian chefs. This is how the little ones are distracted from the war.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

In Lviv, a woman was detained who, pretending to be an IDP from the south of Ukraine, collected data for the russians about the location of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She was recruited through her sister, who lives in russia. Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine detained the woman’s brother, who also worked for the occupiers.

Additional modular houses for internally displaced people were opened in “Mariapolis” in Lviv. From now on, 1500 people can live there.

Khmelnytskyi

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Fourteen residents of Kamianets-Podilskyi, who died in the war, were awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the City”.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine held mine safety classes for teachers of the local lyceum in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Another group of children from the Dergachiv community, Kharkiv Oblast, completed a one-month course of psychological rehabilitation in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Thanks to the charitable organization “SOS Children’s Villages”, young Ukrainians had a break from the daily explosions and realized their creative potential.

Rivne Oblast

Anti-aircraft soldiers train to destroy enemy targets in the Rivne Oblast. The training of anti-aircraft gunners of the Territorial Defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has a systematic approach. In addition to fire missions, servicemen are trained in tactical, pre-medical, engineering, special training, military topography, and defense against weapons of mass destruction.

The head of the Rivne Oblast Military Administration signed the Memorandum on cooperation with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine. During the meeting, they discussed the continuation of support for displaced persons.

Chernivtsi Oblast

St. Olha’s shelter works in the Khotyn city community. It is a temporary shelter for women and children who have suffered from domestic violence. With the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, it became a home for those fleeing the war. It can accommodate 25 people. Each family has its own room. There is a common kitchen – dining room. The shelter was opened by the “Eleos-Ukraine” network together with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

10 territorial communities of Bukovyna received humanitarian cargo: 400 beds, 500 mattresses, almost half a thousand sets of bed linen, pillows and blankets. It is intended for arranging places of compact residence for internally displaced persons. The aid came from the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.

The family of private entrepreneur Valerii Gandzia from the village of Romankivtsi purchased a Mitsubishi L200 SUV for the needs of the Ukrainian military. The vehicle has already been handed over to the defenders. Maintenance and repair of the car was carried out at the expense of the local budget of the Sokyriany community. Fuel was also provided to the soldiers who will deliver the SUV to the front line.
