Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The President of the French National Assembly, Yael Braun-Pivet, arrived in Kyiv. She and the French delegation were met by Ruslan Stefanchuk, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Today, Yael Braun-Pivet spoke in the Parliament.
Kyiv Oblast
On March 28, Irpin celebrates the second anniversary of the liberation of the city from the russian troops. On this occasion, festivities and celebrations are held. Five families of fallen defenders received state awards. The “Book of Memory” was also presented – an electronic register of all those who died as a result of the russian aggression.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, Russians shelled 12 villages in three border communities of the Chernihiv Oblast, namely Novhorod-Siversk, Semenivka, and Snovsk.
Sumy Oblast
Russian troops attacked eight communities in the Sumy Oblast using missiles, drones and mortars during the day. A total of 179 explosions were recorded.
On March 28, the russian military shelled the Sumy Oblast 5 times. Nineteen explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Kharkiv suffered damage from the wreckage of three UAVs that attacked the city at night. In the Kyivskyi district, a restaurant, a shop, and office buildings were damaged. Windows in nearby residential buildings were shattered. As a result of air strikes on the city, 19 people were wounded, and one man was killed.
A 12-year-old boy died as a result of a late-night attack on Borova by Russian troops yesterday. He was an IDP from Pershotravneve. Also, residential buildings and a kindergarten were damaged in the village.
A 74-year-old woman was wounded as a result of the evening strikes on Borova. The enemy fired four Grom-E1 missiles on the village.
On March 27, a 48-year-old man tripped an unidentified explosive device in a field on the outskirts of Petrivka village in the Tsyrkuny community. He lost his right foot. And on the outskirts of the village of Snizhkivka in the Oskil community, a man hit a mine.
Russian troops shelled the village of Monachynivka in the Kindrashivka community, Kupiansk Raion, with artillery: a 57-year-old woman died on the way to the hospital. Two men were wounded. Kupiansk and Kurylivka were also targeted by the russian shelling that caused damage to residential buildings and outbuildings.
Today, the enemy shelled Vovchansk: a russian shell fell into the yard of a private house where a 60-year-old man was staying. He suffered gunshot shrapnel wounds. Also, a 48-year-old man was taken to the hospital with concussion.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed by russian shelling on March 27 in Raihorodka. Yesterday, two more people were injured in Ukrainsk.
On the Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, and Orihove directions, the russian army attacked the Armed Forces with the support of aviation.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
The russian military shelled Mykolaivka with four guided air missiles. A woman died. At least 11 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged.
At midnight, russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka and damaged private houses and the power grid.
This afternoon, the russian military, probably with a KAB, fired at Drobysheve. One woman was injured. At the time of the shelling, people were waiting for humanitarian cargo.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On the night of March 28, the russian army fired four S-300 missiles at Girnyk in the Donetsk Oblast and destroyed the gymnasium with a direct hit.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
During March 27, the russian army attacked Mykolaiv, the Ochakiv and Halytsynove communities. As a result of the attack on the city, the infrastructure was damaged, the number of injured increased to 12 people. Previously, the russian federation used the Iskander-M ballistic missile.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Two people were injured as a result of a russian drone attack in Zaporizhzhia at night on March 28. Two women received minor injuries. Three houses were completely destroyed. More than 80 were damaged.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the russians are massively conducting a mobilization registration of conscripts. In particular, every time residents of the temporarily occupied territories appeal to a state body, they are served with a summons and put on the military register.
Odesa Oblast
During the night attack, the russians tried to target the power system facility in Odesa. They directed two drones there, which were shot down by the air defense forces.
Missiles that the russians fired from Tu-22M3 and Su-30 aircraft in the southern direction of the Odesa Oblast at night lost their combat capability in the sea area.
In the morning, the russian army launched missile strikes on Odesa. Previously, there were no injuries.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, the russian military shelled 17 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. Two high-rise buildings and 10 private houses, port infrastructure, a critical infrastructure object, a shopping center, farm buildings and a car were damaged. Two people died, four were injured.
At night and in the morning, the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson was hit by the russian army. After another attack, windows, auditoriums, and the facade of the building of the city university were completely destroyed.
In the morning, the russian occupiers attacked Beryslav with drones. A 38-year-old man was injured as a result of the detonation.
In the morning, the russian army attacked Mykhailivka in the Kherson Oblast. Two people received blast injuries and shrapnel injuries.
During the day, the russian army shelled the Central district of Kherson. A man was wounded. The trolleybus network was damaged.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
A 65-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman received shrapnel wounds as a result of enemy shelling in the Nikopol Raion on the night of March 28. They were hospitalized in moderate condition. In total, russian troops shelled the area with heavy artillery 4 times during the night. They also used a kamikaze drone. The city of Nikopol, the Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities were under attack.
Air defense forces shot down 8 anti-aircraft missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Western Oblasts
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
As a result of a massive rocket attack on March 22, the oblast’s power grids are operating in emergency mode. During the hours of maximum load in the region, network restrictions are applied.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
On March 28, 44 children from territorial communities of the Kharkiv Oblast came to Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast to improve their health.
Zakarpattia Oblast
The Uzhhorod City Council allocated another UAH 5 million to support the defenders. In particular, UAH 2 million are allocated for the Territorial Defense units, and UAH 3 million – for the support of the Chop border detachment.
