Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
Ukraine and Finland concluded a bilateral agreement on security cooperation and long-term support, which cements the cooperation for ten years. President Zelenskyi and President Stubb of Finland signed the agreement during a meeting in Kyiv.
A 16-year-old man from Kyiv was brought home after two years of living apart from his family. On the eve of the full-scale invasion, the boy went to the Zaporizhzhia region with his grandmother for a visit. The boy was taken out of the temporarily occupied territory after his grandfather appealed to the Ministry of Reintegration for help.
Kyiv Oblasts
The service dog Polya from the Kyiv Oblast received an award for emotional support of more than 1,500 people, most of them wounded military personnel. She works as part of the emotional support team of the canine center. The dog visits military hospitals and institutions that care for civilians affected by the russian invasion.
Zhytomyr Oblast
On the night of April 3 in Zhytomyr Oblast, an attack UAV of the “Shahed” type was shot down.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, the russians attacked three border communities in Chernihiv Oblast.
On April 3, 2022, the Chernihiv Oblast was liberated from the russian army. The occupiers left behind thousands of destroyed or damaged buildings in the region. More than 500 residents of Chernihiv Oblast died. Since the beginning of the invasion of russia, 23 children have died, 83 children have suffered and been injured.
Sumy Oblast
On the territory of the Sumy and Krasnopillya communities at night, russian troops dropped guided aerial bombs. In total, 4 communities were shelled during the night and morning. The warehouses of one of the enterprises in the Sumy community and a private house in the Velikopysarivka community were damaged. In total, 226 strikes were recorded in the region.
This morning, the russian army launched a rocket attack on the Krasnopillya community. A 45-year-old man died. Another man and his three-year-old daughter were injured. 20 private houses, a school, a kindergarten, the premises of the village council, a dispensary and a club were damaged.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, the russians dropped guided air bombs on Cherneshchyna, Borova, and Liptsi. Houses, a store, an educational institution, and an enterprise were damaged and destroyed.
Once, the russians stormed the Kupyansk direction on April 2 with the support of aviation: the defense forces repelled the attack in the area of Sinkivka.
An 11-year-old boy who was injured in the attack on Novoosynove village, Kharkiv Oblast, on April 2, has died in hospital.
A 69-year-old resident of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi was wounded by russian shelling this afternoon.
Donetsk Oblast
The russian army conducted air strikes on fifteen localities in Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts over the yesterday.
Three people were wounded by russian shelling in Donetsk Oblast on April 2.
The occupation army attempted over 54 assaults on Ukrainian positions. Most of them were in the Novopavlivka sector, where they made 24 unsuccessful attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense in the area of Novomykhailivka.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
Two men and a woman were wounded as a result of a russian attack on Mykolayivka. The enemy struck the town late in the evening on April 2.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
Five missiles, allegedly S-300, were fired by the russian army at night at the town of Selydove. The attack damaged at least 12 multi-storey and eight private residential buildings, as well as seven administrative buildings. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured or traumatized.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolayiv Oblast
On April 2, russian troops fired mortar shells at the waters of the Ochakiv community. No one was killed or injured.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian army launched 389 attacks on eight towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the course of 24 hours on April 2.
In the Orikhiv direction, the russian army attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times near Robotyne and on the north-west of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, russian troops shelled 11 settlements in Kherson Oblast. A multi-storey building, five private houses, a gas pipeline and an outbuilding were damaged. One person was killed.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Utility workers are working at the site of the missile strike on the Dnipro River on April 2. Up to fifty workers are removing fallen trees and glass shards. Eighteen people were injured, 12 of them were hospitalized. Four educational institutions, 9 apartment buildings and 25 cars were damaged.
At night on April 3, the russian army attacked Nikopol Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. They dropped a munition from a drone. No one was injured or killed.
Kirovograd Oblast
Dry grass caught fire in Kirovohrad Oblast due to the destruction of a drone. The fire was extinguished.
Cherkasy Oblast
Last night, air defense destroyed an enemy UAV in the sky over Cherkasy Oblast. There were no casualties or damage.
Another group of children from Cherkasy Oblast, whose parents were killed in the war or went missing, returned from Poland, where they had been on vacation. They participated in the large-scale project “Health of Children of Ukraine”.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
A delivery room, operating room, intensive care and post-intensive care wards were equipped in the shelter of the Lviv Oblast Clinical Perinatal Center. This will allow the center to deliver babies and provide assistance to mothers and newborns during air raids and shelling.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Last night, Ukrainian air defense systems shot down an enemy drone in the sky over Khmelnytsky Oblast. There were no injuries or damage.
