Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
Today, an action in support of civilian prisoners took place on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. Relatives and friends came out with photos of captured Ukrainians and posters calling for their return home.
Kyiv Oblast
On the night of April 6, russian troops attacked the Kyiv Oblast with Shaheds and cruise missiles. There were no hits to residential and critical infrastructure objects and no victims. The premises of one of the private enterprises on the territory of the Makariv community were damaged by debris.
Chernihiv Oblast
Three communities in the bordering Chernihiv Oblast were recently attacked by russian rockets, barrel artillery and mortars.

Sumy Oblast
During April 5, russian troops carried out 57 shelling of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy Oblast. 253 explosions were recorded. There were hits in 9 communities.

In the Krasnopillya community, a store building and houses in the neighborhood were destroyed due to night strikes. Power lines are also down.

Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
In Kharkiv, 6 people died and 11 were injured as a result of a nighttime rocket strike in the Shevchenkove raion. At least 9 high-rise buildings, three dormitories, a number of administrative buildings, a shop, 10 cars, a service station, water supply, etc. were damaged.
In the Kharkiv raion, an anti-aircraft fire was hit in Ruska Lozova, a private house was damaged.
On the morning of April 6, the russian army attacked the civilian infrastructure of Borova in the Izyum raion, using guided aerial bombs. The “Ukrposhta” building, a hairdresser and a veterinary pharmacy were destroyed.

Mykolayiv Oblast
On April 5, the russian army fired mortar and artillery shells at the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities. In addition, on the night of April 6, one Shahed drone was shot down by air defense systems over the Oblast.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian army conducted 260 attacks on eight towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the course of a day on April 5.
As a result of the morning missile attack on Zaporizhzhia by the russian military, educational and medical institutions were damaged, and windows in residential buildings were smashed. An industrial facility in the city was also damaged.

Eight people were wounded in the shelling of Kherson Oblast over the past day. The russian army shelled 12 settlements in Kherson Oblast. Nine multi-story buildings, two private houses, an administrative building, a church, a pharmacy, agricultural machinery, and private cars were damaged.
Rescuers found the bodies of a married couple under the rubble of a building in Zmiivka, Kherson Oblast. The russian army attacked the village yesterday with guided aerial bombs.

This afternoon, the russian army dropped explosives from a drone near a store in Beryslav, Kherson Oblast. Two people were injured. Also, two kamikaze drones attacked a house in Mykhailivka. No one was killed or injured.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night on April 6, three russian drones were shot down in the skies over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – in Dniprovskyi and Kryvyi Rih Raions.
The shelling by the russian army on the night of April 6 damaged a cultural center, a library, housing for IDPs, a shopping center, and a sports club in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Eight multi-storey buildings, 16 houses, more than a dozen cars and garages were damaged. Power lines were also damaged.
88-year-old Maria Betsa from Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast donated more than 40 thousand hryvnias to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The volunteers used the money to buy a kamikaze drone and a monitor for aerial reconnaissance.
