Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

Today, on April 7, Kyiv hosted the action “Don’t be silent, captivity kills”. Its purpose is to remind the defenders of Azovstal and other military personnel who are still in russian captivity.

Kyiv Oblast 

The Kyiv Oblast is handing over a batch of 600 FPV drones for the military, including 100 UAVs with night vision.

The drones were purchased at the expense of the Oblast’s budget. The drones will be delivered to the soldiers of the 72nd Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians.

Chernihiv Oblast

Russian troops attacked four villages in the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars and tube artillery.

With amputated limbs, and some of them right from the front line: in Chernihiv, almost 100 soldiers competed in adaptive sports.

Sumy Oblast

On April 6, Sumy Oblast was shelled 21 times by the russian federation. 79 explosions were recorded. Nine communities were hit.

More than 6500 consumers in 76 settlements of Sumy Oblast remain without electricity due to russian shelling. An above-ground gas pipeline was damaged in one of the settlements of Sumy raion yesterday as a result of shelling.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

A 62-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of a Shahed attack in Kharkiv at night, two people received medical aid on the spot. 10 private houses, a kindergarten, three five-story buildings, and three cars were damaged.

The Kharkiv and Lozova raions of the Oblast were also hit by russian drones.

An 85-year-old woman died as a result of a russian strike on Kupyansk, when the russians hit a four-story residential building with an air bomb. The woman lived on the fourth floor, her body was unblocked by rescuers.

Russians conducted two air strikes in the central part of Kharkiv. A munition landed near a residential building.

This afternoon, russian strikes on the industrial zone in Kharkiv’s Industrial district were recorded, two people were wounded. Preliminarily, the russians fired with S-300 missiles.

Donetsk Oblast

The russian army attacked Kostyantynivka twice: the night before and tonight. In addition, ten towns, villages and settlements in Donetsk Oblast were shelled over the past day.

Five people, including a minor girl, were killed by russian shelling in Donetsk Oblast on April 6. Three others were wounded. 

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Russian troops conducted fewer attacks in the Avdiivka sector yesterday. At the same time, attacks and assaults on the Novopavlivka front, near Maryinka, continue with the same intensity as the day before. The russian army is trying to break through the defense in the area of Novomykhailivka and Heorhiivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 21 attacks.

Luhansk Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy attacked 4 communities with artillery. They also fired mortar shells at Makiivka. The enemy attacked the areas of Stelmakhivka and Nadiia with drones. The invaders attacked Bilohorivka during the day, where they had air support.  

In Sievierodonetsk, men’s documents are being checked on the streets. Targeted raids also continue.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolaiv Oblast

On April 6, the russian army shelled the Kutsurub community, damaging the power grid. As of the morning of April 7, power supply was restored.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army shelled eight towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast 483 times during the day on April 6.

A 54-year-old man was injured in a russian drone attack in Zaporizhzhia.

Three people were killed as a result of russian shelling of Gulyaypole with Grad rockets. One more person was injured.

Odesa Oblast

A person was injured in Odesa as a result of a ballistic missile strike, and buildings were damaged. The russian army attacked the port infrastructure. It probably used an Iskander-M missile.

In the morning near Odesa, several russian reconnaissance drones were shot down by air defense forces over the sea. 

Residents of the city are asked to refrain from using electrical appliances unless absolutely necessary, as work is underway to stabilize the power system.

Kherson Oblast 

Yesterday, the russian military shelled 15 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. A high-rise building, 15 private houses, an educational institution, a shop, a warehouse, farm buildings and cars were damaged. Two people died, three were injured.

Three people were injured as a result of yesterday’s dropping of explosives from a drone by russian troops in Beryslav.

Central Oblasts 

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast 

11 “martyrs” were destroyed by the Air Defense Forces over Dnipropetrovsk on the night of April 7. Two each – in the Kryvorizka and Dnipro raions. Another seven – in Kamianske. In the latter, falling debris damaged several buildings and cars.

In the evening of April 6, russian troops attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. In one of the settlements of the Petrikivka community, two garden houses, two cars and a power line were damaged by rocket debris.

At midnight, the russian army struck the Marganets community in the Nikopol raion with artillery. The consequences are being clarified.

Poltava Oblast 

On the night of April 7, an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in Poltava Oblast, which was launched by the enemy from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Western Oblasts

Volyn Oblast

On the border with Belarus and Poland in Volyn, engineering measures are ongoing. Border guards are installing a barbed wire fence and monitoring the situation from the air using drones. Also, 29 thermal imaging cameras monitor the country around the clock.

Lviv Oblast 

In the Lviv Oblast, the first Civil Drone Operator Center in the region was opened on the basis of one of the schools. There, both students and anyone who wants to control various types of drones are taught. Veterans can also take practical classes after being discharged from the army.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast 

Almost 2,800 immigrants from the Luhansk Oblast live in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The other day, the Ivano-Frankivsk hub received aid for them in the amount of almost 1.7 million hryvnias from the International Organization for Migration.
