Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Azov fighters held a two-day training session for the capital’s police officers. The main goal of the event was to improve the skills and ability to provide first aid to the wounded. The defenders shared their knowledge and skills as they participated in the liberation of Bucha and Hostomel.

Chernihiv Oblast

On the night of May 27, russian troops shelled the village of Hremiach in the Novhorod-Siversk community. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Sumy Oblast

During the day on May 26, russians shelled the Seredyna-Buda, Nova Sloboda, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Yunakivka, Myropillia, and Bilopillia communities. A power line was damaged in Bilopillia.

At night and in the morning of May 27, the russian military shelled 7 communities in the Sumy Oblast. The enemy fired artillery and mortars from the territory of russia. Residential buildings and a power line were damaged.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

On the night of May 27, the enemy launched a missile attack (presumably from the S-300 missile system) on the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv Raion. One missile hit a vegetable garden, damaging a private house and outbuildings. The second one hit a field. There were no casualties.

Over the past day, the enemy continued to terrorize the civilian population of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv raions of the oblast.

At least 2 private residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv Raion, with multiple rocket launchers and artillery.

Four residential houses and a power transmission line were damaged in the village of Vilcha, Chuhuiv Raion.

Two private houses were damaged by mortar shelling in the village of Basove, Bohodukhiv Raion.

Donetsk Oblast

On May 26, the invaders attacked 10 towns and villages of the Donetsk Oblast. A total of 19 attacks on the residential sector were registered over the day.

The russian federation shelled Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, the settlement of New York, the villages of Vasiukivka, Ivanivske, Karlivka, Prechystivka, and Torske. The occupiers used FAB-250 aerial bombs, unguided aerial missiles, Grad MLRS and artillery. As a result of the russian shelling, 22 civilian structures and facilities were destroyed or damaged: 13 residential buildings, a hospital, a kindergarten, an educational institution, a cultural center, a gym, a cinema, the administration building of the housing and public utilities company, and a power line.

Russian troops have reduced their assault activity in the Bakhmut sector due to heavy losses. Numerous statements by the leader of the Wagner PMC, Prigozhin, are a de facto surrender of the group.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

East and West stand together: Kramatorsk and Perechyn are now sister cities. The picturesque town of Perechyn in Transcarpathia has recently become known not only for its blooming lavender slopes, but also for the fact that a twin company of Kramatorsk’s Fuhrlander Windtechnology is being established there. Given the circumstances, as well as the fact that Perechyn residents have welcomed a considerable number of internally displaced persons, including those from the Kramatorsk community, the head of the city military administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, attended the events dedicated to the day of the town of Perechyn. There he and his colleague Ivan Pohorilyak, head of the Perechyn community, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between our cities, which means that from now on Kramatorsk has another sister city.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the east of the Pokrovsky Raion, the enemy was attacking the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, the villages of Karlivka, Prechystivka, reports the communication department of the police of the Donetsk Oblast.

The russian army struck with a FAB-250 aerial bomb, unguided aerial missiles, Grad and artillery.

Mariupol

In occupied Mariupol, shells are still found near houses and in parks. Local residents took a video of a grenade launcher shot found in the yard on Nakhimova Avenue, 178. The projectile was equipped with a detonator. But in the “Rainbow” park, the projectile was found right on the lawn.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Five explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian defenders hit russian positions. “Yes, our soldiers hit the positions of the russians in Berdiansk. Many occupiers became 200,” says the message of the Berdiansk city military administration.

From July 1, the russians will start re-registration of agricultural machinery in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On May 26, defenders of Ukraine destroyed an “Orlan-10” reconnaissance drone of the russian army in the area of ​​the village of Davidiv Brid in the Kherson Oblast. The command also confirmed the daily losses of the russian army in the south: 35 servicemen of the russian federation, five units of armored vehicles and the Murom-M video surveillance complex.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

As of the morning of May 27, search operations at the medical facility in Dnipro hit by a russian missile have been completed. Three people are still missing. Fragments of bodies were found at the site of the missile attack. They are checked by criminal experts.

It is also known about 32 injured citizens, of which 13 are still in hospital, including five in serious condition. Two people died.

In Kryvyi Rih, the work of 46 kindergartens was resumed in offline (face-to-face) mode. The main thing before opening any kindergarten is compliance with safety standards. Each institution must have a shelter certified by the State Emergency Service.

Kirovohrad Oblast

There was a threat of a missile attack on populated areas and critical infrastructure facilities in the Kirovohrad Oblast.

Military personnel from the Kirovohrad Oblast are performing combat missions in Donbas and the Kherson Oblast. In particular, fighters of the 121st Territorial Defense Brigade of the Kirovohrad Oblast performed combat missions in the Bakhmut area of the Donetsk Oblast.

On May 27, a car and motorcycle race to support the prisoners of war of the Mariupol garrison was held in Kropyvnytskyi. The race became part of the peaceful action that took place on the Heroes of Maidan Square. A similar action was held on September 3, which gathered about 500 people.

On the occasion of the 277th anniversary of the founding of Olexandria, a charity athletics race was held. 277 athletes took part in the race, covering distances of 1, 3 and 5 kilometers. The event was held under the slogan “Donate! Run!” To participate, the runners had to make a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, it was possible to collect UAH 20,312, the money will be used to help the Ukrainian army.

Poltava Oblast

Eight soldiers from the Poltava Oblast returned from russian captivity. Among them are sailor Roman Ageev, soldier Oleksandr Baranskyi, senior soldier Mykola Borshch, major Oleksii Hrytsai, soldier Yurii Kazmirishyn, soldier Serhii Lutsenko, soldier Maksym Petrov, sergeant Serhii Siniavskyi. All of them defended the Donetsk Oblast and were considered missing.

In Reshetylivka, the Poltava Oblast, they plan to create a monument in honor of defenders of Ukraine, servicemen and servicewomen. All soldiers should be honored with it – from the time of the Cossacks to the heroes of our time.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

In Gdańsk, Poland, a virtual administrator of the Lviv Center for the Provision of Administrative Services has become operational. It works twice a week and can accommodate up to 25 people during the day.

Italian cyclist Laura Morelli came from Milan to Lviv as part of the “Italy-Ukraine” bicycle race, which began on May 7. A woman rode 2,100 kilometers alone on a bicycle in support of Ukraine.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The international conference “Road to Recovery” has started in Košice, which is attended by representatives of the European Parliament, the government of the Slovak Republic, and other distinguished guests. During the day, problematic issues will be discussed in two panel discussions: “Involving local authorities in the development and implementation of the Recovery Plan: lessons learned” and “Strengthening digital and sustainable transformation: the key to rapid recovery, competitiveness and new jobs”. Among the speakers of the first panel discussion was the secretary of the Uzhhorod City Council, Arsen Melkumian, who presented proposals for the Recovery Plan on the possibility of direct rail connections between Uzhhorod and neighboring Slovak cities. The project will be useful for the Zakarpattia Oblast, for Slovakia and other neighboring European states.

UAH 17,000 was collected today during a charity run in Uzhhorod for the purchase of a rehabilitation treadmill for pupils of the Oblast Children’s Home in Svaliava. More than eight dozen children deprived of parental care are currently being raised and educated there. These are children from the Zakarpattia Oblast and regions where active hostilities are taking place, including children evacuated from an orphanage in the Kyiv Oblast.

More than 400 Zakarpattia schoolchildren participated in the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”). Qualifying competitions were held in the Tiachiv and Rakhiv raions, and the day before, the most agile and hardy participants were determined in the Berehove and Khust raions.
