Kyiv
At today’s meeting, deputies of the Kyiv City Council renamed another 32 streets, lanes and boulevards, the names of which are associated with russia and the soviet past.
Gifts for children from the de-occupied territories are being collected in the capital city. Anyone can join the initiative. To do this, you need to get an empty gift box at one of the ADRA gift collection points, fill it with items of value to the children and bring it back by December 20. More than 450 buildings in Kyiv were added to the power outage schedules. Previously, these buildings were not affected by the blackouts, as they are powered on the same lines as critical infrastructure facilities. Sumy Oblast
Yesterday afternoon, russian troops shelled the Znob-Novhorodske community of the Sumy Oblast with mortars. 11 shells exploded on the outskirts of one of the border area villages.
Today, the russians fired mortars at the territory of one of the villages of the Myropillia community. 15 hits were recorded at the border area.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
The enemy continues shelling the town of Kupiansk and the settlements located near the line of contact in the Kharkiv Oblast.
Today around 4:30 a.m. the enemy launched a missile attack on Kupiansk. The S-300 missile hit the ground under the foundation of an administrative building. The wall of the building was destroyed, a car was damaged, the windows were smashed. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Also, yesterday, a residential building was damaged and a fire broke out in Kupiansk as a result of hostile shelling. There were no victims or injuries.
Fires broke out in the fields near the village of Pechenihy, Chuhuiv Raion, as a result of shelling with S-300 missiles.
Mine clearance of the territories of the oblast continues. During the day, 129 explosive devices were removed and defused.
Donetsk Oblast
On December 7, the russians killed 9 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast: six people in Kurakhove, one in the village of Krasnohorivka, one in Ivanivka, and one in Bakhmut. Another 15 people in the oblast were wounded.
Since February 24, russian missiles have killed 1,246 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,709. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the Donetsk sector, the outskirts of the Maryinka and Ocheretyne communities were periodically shelled at night, and in the morning Avdiivka came under artillery fire three times. There were no casualties.
The death toll as a result of the shelling of Kurakhove in the Donetsk Oblast by russian troops on December 7 has increased to 10 people. Markets, shops and post offices were closed in the town. They will be able to resume work after the order to be issued by the Kurakhove city military administration.

Mariupol
The people of Mariupol still do not have normal living conditions. They freeze in their own homes without heating and cannot buy hot food. Therefore, instead of solving urgent problems, the occupiers distribute porridge and talk about “restoration of life”.
The occupiers did not prepare the roads for winter, and now municipal transport does not operate in the city.
Luhansk Oblast
In the morning, 15 people were evacuated from Makiivka (Luhansk Oblast). Meanwhile, the russians continue shelling the Krasnorichenske community.
Yesterday, the occupiers hit the village of Nevske with three rockets. A residential building and outbuildings were destroyed. The depth of the funnel reaches 9 meters, the width is 20 meters.
On December 7, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the russian occupiers near Stelmakhivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, and Bilohorivka.
Hospitals in the occupied territories are getting rid of civilian patients as much as possible – they are being discharged, freeing up beds for wounded russian soldiers.
Southern Oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Three powerful explosions rang out at the air base in occupied Berdyansk, followed by 15 smaller explosions. This caused a large-scale fire. Almost all the ambulances and fire engines in the city went to the scene.
On December 7, the russian military brought several “Grad” multiple launch rocket systems to the territory of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. NNEGC “Energoatom” suggests that this is being done for the purpose of provocation. The most likely is the shelling of the opposite bank of the Dnipro River, in particular the cities of Nikopol and Marganets from the NPP site.
The russian occupiers plan to mobilize local residents in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Thus, in the city of Melitopol, summonses were issued to men of conscription age with the requirement to come to the military commissariat in the near future.

In the temporarily occupied Henichesk, collaborators forcibly gathered schoolchildren for a screening of the russian propaganda film “28 Panfilovtsev”. This is a film about how soviet soldiers fought the nazis. Thus, the fake “authorities” hint at a parallel with the current war.
In Kherson Oblast, a pseudo-official of the occupying “department of education and science of the military-civil administration of Kherson Oblast” will be put on trial, the Security Service of Ukraine reports. Yesterday there was shelling outside one of the settlements of the Kutsurub community. There were no injuries or damage.
At night, the enemy attacked the port territory of the Ochakiv community with multiple launch rocket systems. There were also no casualties.
In the Pervomaiske, Voznesenske and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Odesa Oblast
The 126th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces in the Odesa Oblast received the Combat Flag. This recognition of the combat merits of the unit is awarded on behalf of the President of Ukraine.
Odesa received another humanitarian cargo. These are 50 generators from the Romanian sister city of Constanta. They will be used to arrange points of invincibility.
In Odesa, out of 157 boiler plants, only 52 small boilers out of 157 plants are currently not working due to lack of electricity supply. All the rest is working normally.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Russian occupation forces attacked the Nikopol Raion seven times. They targeted 3 communities. They are the Nikopol, Marganets and Chervonohrihorivka ones. They fired from the multiple rocket launcher “Grad” and heavy artillery.
In Dnipro and the oblast, emergency power offs are currently being used. Trolleybuses and trams do not run in the city.
The photo exhibition “peRE:selentsi” (“Displased”) by Svitlana Korableva from Mariupol was opened in Dnipro. It presented 30 stories of immigrants in 30 photos. The exposition has recently been opened in the center of Little Mariupol in Dnipro. Residents of Cherkasy have already seen the photos before. In Dnipro, the exhibition will last five days, admission is free. Then the photos will go to another city of Ukraine.
Cherkassy Oblast
Four Cherkasy policemen died in the Kherson Oblast. Rivne Oblast
The car and two unmanned aerial vehicles transferred the road workers of the Rivne Oblast to the front. Already now such necessary things are on combat duty in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The Berezne Territorial Community collected another load for the residents of the liberated territories of the Kherson Oblast. More than 10 tons of food, warm clothes, and hygiene products were sent from Bilozerska and Stanislavska communities.
Social institutions of the Rivne Oblast continue to receive assistance from charitable organizations. Washing machines, refrigerators and ceramic heating panels were handed over to the Urvenna psychoneurological boarding school by representatives of the “Voluntary Aid Rivne” BO. 185 internally displaced persons with special needs were sheltered in the facility. The patients came to the institution from the Kamyshivka and Pokrovsk boarding schools in the Donetsk Oblast. Such support became possible thanks to the cooperation of the Voluntary Aid Rivne Foundation with the International Renaissance Foundation and CARE.Deutschland.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Bukovyna said goodbye to defenders who gave their lives defending the freedom and independence of Ukraine. Sergeant Mykhailo Olivskyi and soldier Oleksii Lozovskyi were taken to the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery of Chernivtsi.
The doctors of Polyclinic No. 1 in Chernivtsi prepared, conserve and sent 31 thousand cans of stew to the defenders in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Doctors, nurses, paramedics, and accounting staff joined in the preparation of “Bukovyna Porridge”. They equipped the kitchen, where they conserve the stew after the shift in the doctors’ offices.
Zakarpattia Oblast
On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the 15th battalion of the 128th Zakarpattia Brigade with the “For Courage and Courage” award.
