Kyiv

On the night of August 27, the enemy attacked the Kyiv Oblast with missiles. Thanks to the professional work of the air defense forces, there were no hits to critical or residential infrastructure. 10 private houses were damaged due to falling fragments of downed cruise missiles in one of the raions of Kyiv Oblast. One has significant damage, the others have broken windows, doors, roofs, and chopped facades.
Almost 900 school shelters were repaired in Kyiv Oblast. More than 150 warehouses are still being built.
On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the sculpture «Resistance» was opened in Irpin. The author, Borys Krylov, dedicated this sculpture to all residents of Ukraine who resisted and continue to resist russian aggression.
Zhytomyr Oblast
Another train with forced migrants from Oblasts where active hostilities continue has arrived in Berdychiv.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, the russians shelled the border of the Chernihiv Oblast eight times. Novgorod-Siversk, Semenivka and Snovsk communities came under fire.
Sumy Oblast
During August 26, the russian army shelled 10 border communities of Sumy Oblast. 147 explosions were recorded. In the Esman community, a grain storage warehouse was damaged as a result of the shelling.
During the night and morning of August 27, russian military shelled the Krasnopillia and Shalygyne communities in the Sumy Oblast.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at populated areas of the Kupyansk raion.
In particular, Rublene, Ambarne, Bolohivka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka and other settlements were under enemy fire.
During the enemy shelling from the 2S7 «Pion» self-propelled guns, one of the projectiles hit the cafe building in the village of Podoly, Kurylivka community, Kupyansk raion. A 28-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man died. A 26-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in serious condition.
Demining works are ongoing. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 5.7 hectares of territory and neutralized 107 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
As a result of an enemy rocket attack in Kramatorsk, gas networks were damaged.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Stepove, Donetsk Oblast. The settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske in the Donetsk Oblast came under artillery fire.
In the Mariinka sector, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the vicinity of Mariinka, Donetsk Oblast. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk Oblast. The localities of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk Oblast came under artillery fire.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk Oblast. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Bila Gora, and New York in the Donetsk Oblast. More than 20 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Minkivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka in Donetsk Oblast.
Luhansk Oblast
Occupants are supporting ground offensives in the area of Novoyehorivka with aviation. Enemy attack and tactical aircraft were also used near Bilohorivka and Tverdokhlibove yesterday. However, despite considerable pressure, Ukrainian defenders are holding back these endless attempts by the russians to break through the eastern front.
Artillery attacks by the enemy took place in Kreminna, Kuzmine, Bilohorivka, Karmazynivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, and Dibrova.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
As of 07:30 a.m. on August 27, no enemy attacks were recorded in Mykolaiv Oblast.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Over the past day, russians fired 89 times at the towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Ukrainian troops advanced in the Zaporizhzhia sector towards Novoprokopivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Ocherevatove, said Oleksandr Stupun, spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces.
Kherson Oblast
During the day, the russian army conducted air strikes in the areas of Mykolaivka, Mykilske, and Antonivka. They shelled more than 10 localities with artillery. In particular, Zmiyivka, Tomaryne, Burgunka, Tyahyntsi, Kherson, and Bilozerka.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night, the russians shelled the city of Marganets and the Synelnykivsky district. A fire broke out at one of the agricultural enterprises. The truck was destroyed by fire. Several outbuildings, a garage, and a tractor were damaged. 2 private houses were mutilated. There were no deaths or injuries everywhere.
A peaceful march was held in the German city of Magdeburg on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. In this way, the participants collected aid for one of the Dnipro hospitals and for the military at the front. More than 500 people took part in the peaceful march. Among the participants were not only Ukrainians, but also Germans who support Ukraine. People tried to draw the attention of Europeans to the war and crimes of russia in Ukraine.

Kirovohrad Oblast
A patriotic bike ride in memory of the fallen serviceman Yulian Stupak took place in the village of Kutsevolyvka of the Onufriivska settlement territorial community of Oleksandriya raion.
Cherkasy Oblast
Cherkasy Oblast continues to help rebuild three de-occupied villages in Kherson Oblast— Ivanivka, Novopetrivka, and Mykolaivka. So far, 60 houses have been restored there.
In Cherkasy, the families of military personnel who died in the russian-Ukrainian war collected funds and purchased an SUV for the Territorial Defense Forces fighters, who are currently participating in tasks in the Eastern direction. The car was handed over to the territory of the Streeten temple.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko presented state awards to emergency workers of Khmelnytskyi Oblast. He awarded the orders “For Courage” of the 3rd degree to Sergeants of the Civil Protection Service Vladyslav Tsybulskyi and Oleksandr Yashchuk, firefighters of the 1st State Fire and Rescue Squad of the city of Khmelnytskyi. The rescuers selflessly fulfilled their professional duty – they eliminated the consequences of a russian missile strike on the territory of the city of Khmelnytskyi. As a result of repeated shelling, they were wounded and became eyewitnesses of the tragedy – the murder of their colleagues by russian terrorists.
With the assistance of the internal security of the National Police, the employees of the SBI exposed a law enforcement officer from Khmelnytskyi and his accomplice. They took money from citizens for help in evading mobilization, referring to their connections in the district recruitment center. The cost of the “service” was 2.5 thousand US dollars. The perpetrators were exposed in an attempt to “solve the issue” of a man who had already passed a military medical examination and received a summons to arrive to be sent to a military unit.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Andriy Chosyk and Yuriy Lyulchak, soldiers from Sokyriany raion, were awarded the Order of Courage, III degree.

The Bureau established the identities of some managers of the territorial recruitment and social support centers who organized this illegal scheme. “New recruits” were given the opportunity not to undergo military service and to receive financial and material support from the state. Some of them calmly participated in matches as part of a football club from Prykarpattia. Together with the National Police, the SBI conducted about 30 searches in the TCC and SP of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the regional military medical commission, as well as at the places of residence of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
