Ten people with disabilities are being evacuated from Dnipro to a shelter in western Ukraine. The aid program is organized by the “Vostok SOS” charitable foundation and the Center for Social Adaptation of People with Disabilities. They bring people from Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts. In the shelter, they are helped to restore their documents and are provided with basic necessities.

The first sports and health camp in Ukraine for women with amputations is operating in Cherkasy Oblast. There, participants can not only learn to play football on crutches, but also undergo psychological support training. A family of beekeepers from the Luhansk Oblast moved their family business – an apiary – to the Cherkasy Oblast. In 2014, despite the shelling, it was possible to save 30 bee families and hives. Thanks to grant programs for the development of beekeeping, the family business was continued in a new location.
